"Odd mixture"
Main Complaint was Matress. Had a whole bunch of amenities but just can't recommend the place because of the matress. The Room was huge compaired to what I'm used to. There were two queen size beds but both matresses were hard and I could feel the springs. The pillows were also very firm as well. There was a table, Two dressers a night stand and a […] desk. They also supplied an Iron, Ironing board, Hair Dryer, a mini fridge, full size fridge, Microwave and alarm clock. There was also a fairly large closet as well. This placed had a lot for the price. Although a complimentery bag for your dirty laundry would be nice though. The bathroom needs to be regrouted and there are some stains on the wall as well as a poor patch job where a hole used to be. The Shower was also odd apparently H stands for cold now and C for Hot. The towels also looked warn and the floor mat had a stain and some hair left in it. The room also smelled of old smoke even though the room is a non-smokeing room. There were also some stains on the wall near one of the beds. Læs mere

"Sleep Interruption"
They should've warned you about the 4:00 am pickup of the garbage bins. Yes, they were there at 4:00 am clunking outside. They didn't just pick up one large bin but several. At least 7. OMG!

"The hotel pictures don't do this property Justice"
The pictures of this hotel must be from YEARS AGO. What a dump! If you like derlict looking men sitting in their underwear in their hotel doorway, with the door and the flap to their unders open, drinking beer this is place for you. The Boys in Blue came in the middle of the night to reslove a LOUD dispute. The walls were paper thin. The mattress was […] old and hard. The truck stop down the street would have been a better place to stay. it is worth the effort to drive stright through to anywhere else. "off the highway"
This hotel was convient off the highway. The need to tell you that breakfast is to be eaten in their breakfast area, got a hassel about taking food back to the room for my young kids, most of the time people prefer not to have the kids in a small eatting area. Beds were firm bordering on hard.
"Not What I Expected"
Our reservation indicated a room with a kitchen but when we arrived we were told there was no room with a kitchen available. We got a standard room. The WiFi was down twice, the telephone in the room was dead. The hallway outside our room was littered with sunflower seeds, and nobody even bothered to clean it all the time we were there.

"Dirty!"
The sheets and pillow cases were dirty! Bed sheet had blood on it and the pillow cases had hair on it and it had stains on it. One towel was dirty too.

We ended up leaving after seeing the grounds and the room. We ended up staying at a different hotel. This hotel was old and dirty. Parts of the building were falling off. It reminded us of a low income apartments that are not cared for. We would not recommend this hotel to stay at.

The internet pictures make the hotel look way better than it is. Very old, run down rooms, although they are trying to improve per new ownership. Restaurant next door is closed down. While the pool is very large, one entire wall side was covered with algae and the bottom needs to be repainted. Some good things about the property is there is plenty of parking for large vehicles and I was not charged the normal $25 fee for our golden retriever. Beds were comfortable and the room was large. Big frig really stunk, but we used the small one and it got very cold. They should also have maintenance pick up the dog droppings on the dog walk area, and please add a trash can back there! Our recent stay at the Discovery Inn was dampered by the "non-smoking" room reaking of smoke, the air condtioner turning itself off every 20 minutes (which is very inconvenient at night) and the very low quality linens. The towels in the bathroom had holes in them and the sheets on the bed were scratchy and very uncomfortable. The only positive thing […] about this facility was the hot continentel breakfast served in the morning which was unfortunately ruined by the low lifes hanging out in the dining area that started an altercation with an elderly gentlemen. "Not What They Advertised"
Discovery Inn website and brochure had beautiful pictures of fountains, hot tubs, and pools. The hot tubs were cold with no working jets. The fountains were there but not working. Room was spacious and comfortable but troubled by the nearby drag races and loud clientele. "Great for the more than the price"
This was my last night on an 11 day motorcycle trip and this was the largest and cheapest room of all the places I stayed in which included California, Oregon and Washington. "Stay Away"
This hotel is a little old and needs some updates both on the exterior and interior. I can look past that. The problem I had was with the "residents" hanging outside their open door drinking beer, yelling across the parking lot at each other, the 5 cop cars that showed up and were questioning people, the fist fight at 6:20 am and a girl screaming. […] I didn't feel safe. And to top it all off the matress was horrible so when we were able to fall asleep is wasn't restful. So, I would stay away. The location is convenient. "king size bed turned into a full a check in"
Online I booked a king size smoking room for the discounted rate offered by hotels.com and when I got my room there was a tiny full size bed........everything else was mediocre. If ur petite full size beds are here for u. Big and tall go somewhere else.

"Very Old Hotel"
This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at!! It is old and run down. The room smelled very bad, rug was very dirty. We asked for another room but all the rooms were booked. However, we were able to switch rooms the following day.The only thing we enjoyed was the pool. It was big and clean.

We stayed there just for one night but after a long road trip, but still had time and chance to use almost all facilities that the hotel has. First of all it is big - several separate buildings and a lot of space for cars. The hotel has at least 5 laundry machines and driers, the door is locked and opens with your room key - safe. The king size room […] we had was big and clean equipped with everything we needed (wi-fi, fridge, microwave, tv, phone, coffee maker). The breakfast is served in a quite small room, but includes most of continental goodies - belgian waffles included. But the best part of the thing is big open air pool and four different size jacuzzies situated in a separate building with the rocky walls inside. The entrance to the pool is decorated with waterfalls and stones - had to take some pics. As somebody wrote here - would come back just because of jacuzzies. Paradize motel for women who love water! The only thing to improve in is the cleannes of the glass doors and mirrors in the jacuzzi building - they get stain to fast due to the humidity. Læs mere

"Come because you're in Ukiah, stay for the Jacuzzi"
This is the 4th time I've stayed in Ukiah. This place was comparable to the others in most areas, perhaps a little older and showing it. But the relatively central location (to downtown and the freeway) and the Jacuzzi building make it a clear winner.

The jacuzzi makes the extra $10 you might spend on this place well worth it. its clean and comfortable. Large spacious rooms. i have already been back again.

We had a great experience. Staff was friendly.Rooms were clean and decent size. Breakfast was good and hot. And most important jaccuzi were open at 8am and stayed open till 11pm. I was very pleased with our visit.

We always stay at Discovery Inn. We get discounted rates from Hotels.com, but even their regular rates are reasonable considering what you get. Complimentary breakfast, three indoor jacuzzis, swimming pool, and exercise room. The room has all the amenties of most nice hotels. We have never had a problem with street noise.
