Et ganske udemærket hotel,god pris og rigtig god beliggenhed, det enste minus jeg har er badeværlset det er ikke godt indrettet og brusekabinen er alt for lille.

Det var noget af en skufffelse, at møde op på Hotellet, som jo skulle være et 4 stjernet Hotel ! Det var højst et 3 stjernet Hotel. Der var INTET på hotellet. Kun reception - intet andet. Der var ingen information om hotellet på værelset. Tlf. nr. m.m. Ingen room-service. Måske var det godt nok i 70, erne, men ikke i 2011.

No matter how hard this hotel tries or how hard its guests imagine this hotel never will be a four star hotel. It´s really disappointing to stay at this hotel if you expect a four star experience. First of all the general impression does leave you with the exclusive feeling you should have when staying at a four star hotel. Then our AC didn't work for […] two days, and were fixed after two inquiries in the reception. The breakfast is boring, normal bread, eggs and cold cuts. The juice is of poor quality and the fruit is canned fruit...! It could be an easy lift to add fresh fruit. Finally the last day of our stay our room were filled with smoke! - This was caused by some constructors.Only when we self proclaimed we wanted to change room this happened. In the end the ambitions of this hotel does not go along with the four star label. Though at last the personal at the hotel were comfortable to be around. Læs mere

Hotel Commodore er et klassik hotel fyldt med historie og italiensk charme. Betjeningen er fantastisk - bagagen bæres til dit værelse og uden at spørge får du kort over Rom, hvor conciergen indtegner hotellets belliggenhed, og de nærmeste seværdigheder. De svarer iøvrigt beredvilligt på turist spørgsmål, fx vejansvisning til restaurant, metro, taxa, […] mv. Morgenbuffet er klassisk italiensk med lyst brød og diverse pålæg, frugt, crossainter, juice, mv. Enkeltværelserne er pæne og med dejligt badeværelse. Det skulle være et røgfrit hotel, MEN når der skulle ventileres og man åbnede et skydevindue, flød det med cigaretskodder i et større antal, burde fjernes så man undgik at det blev værre og værre.

Hotellet ligger godt placeret, men værelserne er simpelthen ikke svarende til et 4 stjernes hotel. De er kedelige og fyldt med sorte rander på badeværelset og et ulækkert boble-badekar. Personalet er meget venligt, både i reception og ved morgenmaden. Morgenmaden er god og man får serveret dejlig kaffe efter ønske.

Good hotel only 4 blocks from train station. 15-20 minutes from sights. Some traffic noise in room during night. Needs a room safe. Room was good size and in good condition. TV included 2 English stations. Hotel is a little dated. WiFi but no computer for those of us who do not travel with laptops or notebooks.

its ok.bed was not comfortable. towels seemed like so old and not washed. we only stayed for one night. they were kind enough to pack a bag of food for us as we left very early for our flight in the morning.

The location of the hotel was the best thing about it - We were close to virtually everything that we wanted to see and do. The rooms are tired looking, but I would stay again. Breakfast was good

Great location, next to Termini and bus station and close to metro. Single room was clean but tiny with a very small TV. The shower is very small and very uncomfortable for a lager size person. Walls are made of "paper", I could hear very clearly everything going on in the rooms on both sides. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Hotel furniture and design is old but not rusty, very clean, service is exceptionally 5*, room cleanless and hotel cleanless also 5*. very close to all attractions because it is close to termini station.

Near Santa Maria Magiore and Termini, this hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet and huge family suite. The friendly staff speaks beautiful English and is most helpful! Their transfer to FCO was cheaper & faster than taking the train!

We stayed in the family room with two kids. It was actually 2 rooms with one double bed & two single beds. The hotel is much better than the pictures on it's website. Very nice lobby with friendly stuff. They were expecting us and room was ready when we walked in. Breakfast was good, the area was clean & the servants were polite. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast buffet, good location, we had 2 room and one was better than the other in being larger and cleaner (dirty mirror and some chipped paint, but fully funtional and comfortable) would recommend! As noted before more of a really good 3* than a 4*

This was our third trip. What a difference! Has clearly had a refurbishment and looks a million times better. While we always loved the staff and the atmosphere, I would know quite happily recommend this hotel. Ideally placed to explore Rome, and close to the main station. Clean, comfortable rooms, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Only complaint is that no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, so take your own !! Would stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel to find it boarded up! But there was a little side entrance which led to the reception. This wasnt a brilliant start and the lobby looked a bit old and faded although there were some lovely pieces of furniture and a gorgeous fire place. The check-in was efficient by a somewhat brusque (but efficient) lady and we were taken up […] by the bell boy. The room itself was fairly large and our window overlooked some offices which provided endless (albeit childish) amusement! There was a small fridge with a minibar (nothing spectacular in there but in th summer you would be able to stick in some necessaities without a problem). The batroom was large and clean...with a bathtub and a handheld shower but no shower curtain. There was a slight dearth of plug points I thought but not too bad on the whole. The AC didnt work and the heater was set on a constant high (26 degrees) which for us was stifling. No one could make the thermostat work so we slept with the window open most times - not ideal when you have offices opposite and people able to stare at you while you're asleep (sort of stalkerish but if you like that sort of thing thnen its perfect. On the whole a nice hotel...not far from Termini station with its links to the airport and everywhere else. The area has plenty of nice bars and places to eat at a reasonable price. Breakfast was typical of Europe - breads and cheese, juices and eggs, cold cuts and canned fruit. Læs mere

I stayed for five days late November 2011. Great location being only 300 metres from Statione Termini and within walking distance of all tourist locations. English speaking staff were extremely helpful. The room temperature was 25degrees C but was able to keep the balcony door open to provide airflow and reduce temperature. From the lobby to the rooms, all at this hotel needs a facelift. Everything a bit shabby. Linens need to updated. The a/c-heat control didn't work. The worst thing was the traffic noise. I got no sleep, it continued all through the night. I would definitely not recommend this place.

The rooms were not up to expectation, more shabby than chic. The walls in the room were grubby & one room smelled badly. The photographs do not represent the true "look" of the hotel. everything was perfect location, decor, service, comfort, cleanliness, price but if i have to complain about one thing that would be the shower. they have a 24 inch pan for you to stand in. I am 5'6" 125lbs and I barely fit in it after the curtain is closed. I also got the floor outside the shower very wet because it is just to small for a small person […] like me. If you do, you need to be queuing at 8 a.m. for the Vatican museums unless you want an even longer wait. Try going later in the day. Pay attention to guides as some of the major attractions are not open every day. The Colosseum and Roman Forum ticket is valid for two days but only one visit per attraction, so to avoid queuing buy your ticket one evening and visit the next day. We spent 4 nights here in July 2011. This is not a 4* hotel. Most staff were friendly and helpful, mainly the porters. Hotel is dated and grubby, room was poor, bed uncomfortable, shower awful with grubby shower curtain - breakfast choice was limited with machine coffee. We would not stay again or recommend to others.

Positives: Nice spacious room with nice clean bathroom. The breakfast that was provided with the room was very good. Some good restaurants in the neighborhood like Ristorante del Giglio. Basic but clean hotel room. Star ratings in Rome are not the same as in other cities. Selection of food for breakfast - cereal, toast, ham, cheese, fruit, pastries, which was included in the price.
