Loved the location and hotel was amazing

Nice hotel, one block from Convention Center and within walking distance of downtown. Great rooms, nice amenities, friendly staff. Was disappointed with two things. First night we arrived (late Sunday) I realized there were no light bulbs in the light between the beds. Simple problem, simple solution. I called the front desk and advised them of the […] problem and they said it would be resolved tomorrow. I had to call two additional times on Monday afternoon and evening before they came up and put the bulbs in. One night several off us gathered in a room to talk and drink because the rooms are spacious and have a couch and chair besides office type chair and two regular chairs you find in a regular hotel. We didn't trash the place but we did drop some pistachio's and shells on the floor accidently. Not a big mess but something I notice due to attention to detail. The next day the big pieces were picked up but the room wasn't vacuumed during our stay. Not a huge deal but I found this disappointing because I expect more out of a hotel at this price point. The hotel was nice, but very overpriced. I'm sure that the price reflects directly on the fact that the Fire Department Instructors Conference was in town. However, the price was too high considering there were closer hotels with cheaper pricing. As far as the hotel itself, they kept the rooms clean but the pool and hot tub were in much need of cleaning […] both times that I went there. Læs mere

The overall condition of the hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. Our room was on the east side of the hotel. There were trains throughout the night that kept waking me up. The hotel is nice, but the noise from the trains was annoying.

My overall opinion of the hotel was very poor. It was hard to get into and out of, you also had to park in a garage which was also hard to get into and out of. We were only there for a place to shower and sleep and were gone again but for as much as I had to pay, I was not impressed.

The hotel was nice, just a block off the main path of circle city. We didn't mind the walk, but thought we were on the other side of Lucas Field towards the mall.

The only major issue is that the "face" of the hotel in the form of the woman at the check out counter was not inviting nor willing to give advice. The hotel was renovating the pool and she asked us to walk or take a shuttle to a nearby hotel but we felt no kindness or consideration for our needs (we reserved two back to back rooms to accommodate our […] five children). She was not apologetic for the great inconvenience it represented to move our stuff to another hotel to go to the pool in December. On the plus side, the lady in charge of the shuttle was a pleasure and the the breakfast was well prepared, with hot items and a nice atmosphere. We cut it close as it ended prompty at 10:00 am. Neighboorhood around with a major attraction (the Colts stadium) but far from other downtown attractions. Læs mere

I picked this hotel because it is right across from the stadium where we were attending a late Colts game. The young lady checking us in was not very friendly, actually kind of rude. Also, felt the additional parking charge was excessive. The cost of the room for one night was high enough and then to charge an additional fee just to park at the hotel […] was an insult. There is nothing fancy or exciting about his hotel, but the staff was perfectly nice and the room was surprisingly large. It was a short walk to where we needed to go downtown, and if I ever went to a Colts game it would be a 500 foot walk to get there. THIS HOTEL WAS OLD, BUT COMFORTABLE.

The hotel rooms were fine: clean and large enough. Shower is another story, only 2 choices from the shower head- dripping and pressure washer, every few minutes the shower would make an awful screeching sound. Hotel did have a shuttle to where ever you wanted to go (within 10mi, I think)- it cost $5. The Drivers were fun though! There's not alot around […] the hotel but 6+ blocks away is downtown. There is a small workout room and very chlorinated pool and hot tub. Oh- they also offer breakfast, standard but there was cereal, fruit and yogart. Læs mere

Perfect for a colts game

Good hotel Great breakfast.

This hotel is above average for the Holday Inn. The rooms were a good size and even had a Jacuzzi which we were not expecting.. The hot breakfast included in the stay was a nice touch. I will stay here again next time through Indy.

I do not recommend this hotel. The location is good, it is clean, and the staff was friendly enough. The problem is, it's on a busy street across from the new Lucas Oil Stadium. If your room is on the west side of the hotel, you get traffic noise all night long (and worse in the mornings) But what is WAY worse is if there's an event at the stadium, […] a 45 second announcement plays on a loop on the exterior PA system, every 60 seconds ALL DAY LONG. Good luck sleeping through that. I now have what you can and cannot bring into the stadium branded on my brain. It ends somewhere around 10 pm. I don't recall when it started, but it was somewhere around 8. If you could move this hotel, or soundproof the rooms, it'd be great. As it is, I spent a week here for work and didn't get a good night's sleep the entire trip. Læs mere

This hotel was just OK. Paid relatively premium price and they had no on-demand, no Speed Channel and no NBC. The breakfast was fine - like you would expect for the free breakfast business Hotels. Next year I will plan in advance and get a little more luxury. Staff was pleasant.

Hotel is close to many places. We enjoyed the evening. Then we had a false fire alarm at 4:15 am, again at 4:30 am. Then after we checked out, a few days later, found out that they charged credit card $12.00 fee for parking in the only parking lot they had, without telling us.

Comfy beds! Nice location in downtown but not right in the hustle and bustle! Nice that you can park on site too and not have to hunt for a garage, but if you needed one its right there too! Would love to stay here for a Colts game!

The hotel was easy to find. The view from my room was facing the Lucas Oil Stadium. When I arrived my refrigerator did not work. They offered me another room or repair the next morning. (great) Nice family breakfast atmosphere. My only problem was having to pay for parking.

Room & property were incredibly clean & comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful. Continental breakfast was convenient. Pool was nice, small but indoor. We were able to walk to Conseco fieldhouse which was where our event was held which was incredibly nice. Many restaurants & entertainment convenient!! Lucas Oil Stadium is right across the street. […] Only negative I encountered was in room tv would have interference occasionally. And..... I had called customer service ahead of time to ask about parking & was told there was no additional charge for parking, only to find that parking was additional $12 a day. Læs mere

We stayed one night for my son's graduation ceremony. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful when needed. I used the exercise room in the morning. Everything worked well. The breakfast was okay, mid level quality, all prepped in advance offsite, but acceptable. The rooms were clean, bathrooms clean, linens and towels decent quality. My room was street […] side. The noise level was offset by the fan system on the heater/air conditioner. Our other room was across from a bar which was noisy until the wee hours of the morning. This hotel is a little hard to locate due to the small sign. Just look for Lucas Oil as a landmark. Læs mere

EVERYTHING WAS NICE AND SATISFACTORY. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAD IS WHITH THE WHIRLPOOL, ONE DAY THE TEMP WAS GOOD AND THE NEXT DAY COOL. SMALL CHILDREN WERE USING IT AS A SMALL POOL.

The hotel was nice and clean. The check in process was great and fast. The bed was not comfortable. It was close to downtown, but alittle walk to restuarants and shopping. Staff was very courteous.

The hotel and hotel room were very neat and clean. It would be nice if hotel rooms were equipped with a mini-fridge. In addition, dvd players in the rooms would also be convenient. I spent only 1 night at the hotel, but the experience was flawless.Would definitely recommend.

We chose to stay here because it was fairly close to Riley's Children’s hospital. Our daughter needed to have surgery first thing in the morning so the short distance for travel was great. The room was very kid friendly and my daughter enjoyed sleeping on the pull out couch. Our bed was also very comfortable and the room was very nice. The breakfast […] was not as good as I had expected but it did the job. The only complaint I had is that we stayed the day after a big ice storm and they did not have the parking lot cleared. I fell while I was getting our luggage out of the car. Over all, it was a very nice place and we plan to stay here again. Læs mere

Great location for visiting Colts games. Staff was wonderful and helpful for us wayward Texans. Kids enjoyed the pool and spa in the blizzard conditions that were outside. Everything in easy walking distance. Will definitely will stay here again.

The rooms were clean, the disapointing part was that I had to go to four different floors and spent $6 for a bottle of water because the vending machines kept ripping me off. There was no water left at the front counter. Not much of a view at all, not enough parking. Not enough holiday inn signs on the building.

Hotel was nice. Good size bathroom. Lots to choose from at breakfast. Great location if going to Lucas Oil Stadium. I do wish there had been more blankets or warmer blankets on the bed. It was a cold night in Indy. Only real problem were the loud people in the room next to me. Overall a very nice hotel.

We stayed here while in town for a marathon. We had a teenager and a 2 year old. The 2 year old slept on the sofa bed - it would probably be too uncomfortable for a teen or adult. The beds were comfy, the room had a fridge, sink, microwave, and room for food which was good with kids. We found the entire hotel to be VERY clean. The breakfast was good, […] the pool was too cold and very small, but our kiddo had fun anyway. We were very close to a lot of things in town - if we didn't have kids with us, we would have walked to the downtown area, museums, etc. This hotel is literally across the street from the football stadium and a block from the convention center. The location would be ideal for most vacationers. The best part about this hotel for me was that they have a little "store" that is open 24/7. They gave us a box of crayons and a coloring book (for free!). They have all kinds of candy, microwave meals, etc. if you needed anything plus things for kids to play with. Læs mere

Could not have been more convenient to the Lucas Oil Stadium - directly across the street. It was also not terribly far to walk to shopping/restaurants. Parking was annoying in that we could only pay for one day and so had to leave our venue and drive out of the garage and back in to get a ticket for another day of parking. Would have been more convenient […] if we could have just paid for the extra parking at the beginning and not have had to move the car. Breakfast was decent. Overall, it was just right for our trip. The room and bathroom were big. We had a nice stay.

My wife and I stayed at this location because we were going to the State Fair. The location of the hotel put us within walking distance of approx 2 blocks of the Circle Center Mall and eating locations. Next time my wife and I stay in Indy, We will deffiently stay in this Hotel again. Staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Downtown Indianapolis was convenient because is was within walking distance to the minor league baseball field, across the street from the Lucas Oil Stadium, walking distance to all of downtown and Circle Center. Not to mention the breakfast was free. Will definately stay there again. The hotel was clean and also […] the alley along side of the parking garage did not have a scrap of trash in it. That was very notable to me considering how trashy allies in a small town can be. Læs mere

Location was good for a Colts game, but not much else in walking distance. The rooms were nice and clean, however a bit noisy. The staff at night was not very friendly, but the following morning was better. Good location for games, parking an additional thirty dollars on game day in addition to ten dollars per night. Going back this weekend and I will […] add to this, if not better I will try elsewhere. Also this is the easiest spot to get back on I-70 after a game and not have to wait and hour. Læs mere
