Hotellets beliggenhed er rigtig god (tæt på byen og vandfaldene), men det kompenserer ikke helt for dets dårlige standart (slidt og gammelt) og den dårlige rengøring (klistrede gulvtæpper, brune, klistrede døre og karme, beskidt kaffemaskine og køleskab osv). Der manglende f.eks. håndklæder på værelset og vi måtte spørge 3 gange før vi fik et tyndt […] slidt håndklæde hver. Om aftenen opdagede vi, at sengetøjet i den ene seng ikke var rent. Efter 5 kvarter blev det skiftet. Ellers var personalet venlige. Vi havde glædet os til poolen, mens dens beskidte bund og vand afholdte os fra at hoppe i den. We arrived mid afternoon on Friday, hotel was still mostly empty. We asked to be put in a ground floor room because there is no elevator and we have two very small children. The management was very accomodating. When we entered the room it was obvious the floor had not been cleaned, it was VERY dirty. I found a used condom wrapper under the nightstand […] and there was a large amount of dust and debris tracked in. I did not allow our baby out of his playpen for the entire weekend because the floor was soo dirty. Bathroom was very clean although the bathtub was old and chipped. A/C worked well and was easy to adjust as weather required. There was supposed to be a Fridge which was not in the room I walked back to the desk (there are no phones in rooms) and inquired about the fridge and they brought me one right away. Also internet was available and worked well. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything outside and next door so if you have young kids it is not a good place to stay, both babies were woken up many times by party goers and smokers standing outside their rooms talking. Overall its a great price, five minutes from Clifton Hill, fairly safe feeling neighbourhood and the management tries to accomodate your needs. The downsides are its old and dated and needs a much more dedicated cleaning staff. Læs mere

First, I will say that the rate was very good and we stayed in a Family Suite - one room with a double bed and another room with 2 double beds. Room had fridge and 2 TVs and was pretty spacious. Cons - windows did not lock and could be opened from outside. Bathroom door did not close or lock without something propped against it. No housekeeping service […] to be found and when we went to office to get more towels, there was no one there, only a sign that read "if you have an emergency, please call ...." Pool was not filled, but it was too cold to swim yet - stayed at the end of May). Hotel is old and in need of major updating to rooms. No hairdryers, towels were small and old, nowhere to hang clothes, old tube tvs, warped, hard mattresses . Front desk staff extremely nice and accommodating. Did the job for one night.

I was attracted by the price, but you get what you pay for. The place was run-down and under construction. Our rooms smelled of booze and smoke. The bathroom door was busted and would not close and windows would not open. There are no phones in the room and TV reception was from the 1960s. Our stay was so bad, we never spent the night. We checked in […] for 3pm and left at 10:30pm and headed back to Toronto. The hotel was dirty and didnt seem to have been cleaned the first thing I did was go buy Lysol wipes and wipe the whole place down. Bottom line is if you want somewhere close to the attractions it's only 5 minutes to the falls and that is the only plus side about this place. I will not be returning to the admiral inn

Admiral Inn is located halfway between the tourist areas of Clifton Hill and Fallsview Casino. Both areas are within walking distance and the Falls itself is also not far. There is free parking and a Mediterranean/Thai restaurant offering good meals at very reasonable prices in an area where many restaurants charge a premium. The room was clean, it is VERY close to everything, and VERY friendly staff. The hotel itself looks a bit older and could do for a face lift, but it's a great place to stay. I would come back again as it is really good for the price.

Very very bad Hotel, I don't recomended to anyone. First, they gave a room without heat, I fought with them and asked them to give me back my money. Then they transferred me to a heated room.

Very clean, comfortable and well priced, room without any disturbances. The hotel is very well situated, close to all the entertainment and dining within walking distance. Jon, the hotel manager was very freindly and accomodating to all of our needs! Definatley my choice for when I return to Niagra Falls Canada

Said on the website coffee and tea making facilities available. There was no refrigerator in the room even though the website said there was one. Had to ask for fridge. When I asked about coffee and tea making facilities I was told there weren't any and were not included in the room even though it said on the website. No glasses to drink water out of. […] Went to reception and asked for 3 glasses got given 3 plastic cups. Hotel is in need of serious upgrade. The ratings on here that show a Five are from the owners of the hotel... nothing written in them is true. The pictures of this hotel are NOT at all what the hotel looks like. The bedding and beds floors stained. We were kept up all night by partying, loud music, screaming, and doors slamming. We had to refuse the first room due to the condition, […] it was not liveable by anymeans. The beds were like sleeping on pavement, and the room came with 3 towels, No face, hand or bathmat towels. First the room I was expecting was not available so had to go to a room with 2 beds. Around the edges of the room were dirty, the table did not have the top attached properly so everything would fall off it if you leaned on it and the microwave did not work and was dirty. The beds were clean however. We were on a romantic getaway and it did not help […] that that staff put 20 somethings in the 2 rooms directly beside/around us causing them to keep us up all night due to their loud partying habit. I would have thought they would have taken into account that these youngin's would be noisier and put them in rooms that were not close to us....especially since most of their rooms were empty on the other side of the lodging. We stayed here for 1 nights in January. Great location conveniently located near Clifton Hill area. Te Casino is about a 10 minute walk. Quiet location. Since it's a small hotel, it's located amongst many other hotels and motels. Rooms are small, but we expected that in a Niagara Falls. Very clean. The hotel is in horrible condition, stains on the floor, bed and chairs. Rooms smell and are dirty and outdated, ceilings cracking and falling down. I could go on about it for pages, worst hotel I've stayed in by far. The only plus would be the location. Spend the extra $20 a night and stay at a chain hotel.

It looks like it's an old hotel, old building, stairs uneven, dark hallway, key cards don't work, room smells bad, linens not smell fresh, towels are worn out. There was a dead rat in our room which my son stepped on, which explains the bad smell. They moved us to another room. We were disappointed their tv was not cable, and we were looking to watch […] the NBA all stars on TSN2. We eventually checked out that same day, and moved to another bigger hotel in the area. The location is good, though. Expedia should evaluate if this hotel should be included in its listing. Most of the hotels in Niagara Falls are insanely expensive. The great Fall is less than a 10 minute walk and there are lots of shops, restaurants and tourist attraction along the way. Yes, the rooms are small but what do you expect? We only had two problems - the bed was really firm and our backs hurt the next morning and the drainage in the shower […] was really bad. After about 5 minutes in the shower, you had to turn the water off to let the water drain, otherwise it would overflow onto the floor. Specious room, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and courteous. The distance to the falls was not too far and gave you enough exercise to and from. Free parking included. The day when we arrive the wifi wasn’t working. Rest all was fine.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a night and it was actually not a bad experience. The staff was courteous and helpful enough. We requested a late checkout and we got it. The room was clean……bed and bed sheets were neat and tidy… bathroom was in fine condition. Overall the trip to the falls was awesome and the Admiral Inn, though not a 4 or […] 5 star hotel, did not damper our spirits. That’s the best you can expect for the value you’re paying. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and a water park passes and got a great deal. Well worth the price, friendly staff, nice hotel w/all amenities. Kid loved it and so did we. The best thing was that it was walking distance to Clifton Hill, restaurants and the falls.

Biggest room I ever had any motel, unlike some of the reviews I read on the website, it was just the opposite. There was some maintenance work was going on may be some renovation! but my stay was as comfortable as it is suppose to be! Everything was on the walking distance. Staff was friendly but the Inn lacked anything that would make someone say "Nice". Was taken up to the room by the man at the front desk, who then inspected the room in front of me. Of the 5 lightbulbs in the room 4 needed to be replaced, but he returned and only replaced 2 of those 4. The room had a old cigarette smell as if it hadn't been smoked in […] for a year or so, but non-smoking was requested. When I asked for a non-smoking room he mis-interpreted me (due to language barrier) and recommended we take the smoke alarm off the wall to smoke in the room. This is a huge by-law offence and a heavy fine. All in all a cheap Inn for a reason as you get what you pay for, just don't take any smaller kids as we were all 19 and could only imagine how scary a place like that could be at 8. Læs mere
