There were several aspects of my recent stay that were not up to par. First off, one of the main reason that I selected the hotel was because of the pool and spa. After checking in we were looking forward to relaxing in the spa, only to find that it completely not operational. The spa was not turned on and heated and was full of dead bugs, it was an […] absolutely disgusting sight. The room was mediocre at best. It looked as if many repairs had been done very poorly, most noticeably there were large holes in the wall near the air conditioning unit. Another major issue that we had was regarding the refrigerator. We went out to a very nice steakhouse for dinner that night and came back with at least $30 in leftovers, which we planned to save for the next day. However this became impossible when the fridge began making so much noise as we were going to bed that we had to unplug it in order to sleep, and thus were not able to perserve our leftovers. The matttrest needed to be replace & the remote control for the tv needed to be replace also.All else the stay was pleasent

Very clean hotel. Off the beaten path but worth the drive.

The hotel is located in Old Downtwn Temecula. Great for walking to restaurants and shopping. The problem is that the "Stampede Lounge Bar" is right across the street. The Stampede crowd is loud and you hear the partying on the street and the hotel until 4:00 a.m. If you plan not to sleep then this is the right hotel for you.

There was a new guy being trained at the front desk he gave me another room becasue the heater in the first room wasn't working.. He was great.. Thank You

:No frills comfort, clean, & it is in Old Town.

Old Town Temecula is a fun place to visit. The Rodeway Inn is at the end of the Old Town area but still remains close to the "action." We enjoyed a wonderful dinner across the street at Bailey's and the walk downtown is fun. There is a lot to see and do in Old Town. The continental breakfast at the Rodeway Inn is sparse, we had a choice of sweet roll […] or very fresh bagels, coffee, tea and orange juice. This suited us fine as we were planning on eating a big lunch. The room was clean, the beds were good and there was enough light in the room to read at night. (Very important to me.) All in all it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. (P.S. if there is a quilter in your group, the Quilter's Coop is 400 feet from this place. Great shop.) My boyfriend and I went there for our 1 year anniversary and were disgusted by how filthy the room was. It started right when we tried to put the key in the door and it wouldn't open. When we finally got in the walls were stained with some sort of cleaner and when I was getting a towel there was hair (that wasn't ours) on 2 of the 3 towels. When we […] got back from dinner we noticed a couple of doors down from our room another person was having a hard time to get into their room. The key took us at least 10 times to get in. When it was time to lock up the door wouldn't lock! We had to put a chair up against it to keep it closed. I turned on the heater and it was broken. Thankfully we only stayed 1 night! When it was time to check out, long behold there was another couple struggling to get into their room. It was a horrible hotel stay overall and wouldn't recommend it to anybody! Hotel room needs paint and upgraded linens, not appealing when you walk in and seems to be poorly maintained. Ease if checkin was good however.

The manager or man running the office that evening did not seem to want to be working. Came from the back room after leaving us alone waiting for a few minutes - still chewing food - barely looked at or spoke to me, gave me the key and went back to back room. Could hear tv on and smell the meal. Had to call him later about a light bulb not working […] in the bathroom -- he said "I'll have to come over." and we never saw or heard from him again. The interior of the room was simple and sort of clean - not the carpet - not a great smell - and damage on the walls. I would not have paid more but for the price, it was adequate. The location is in a wonderful part of old town and appeared from quaint from the exterior -- easy access for evening stroll amongst all the shops. Læs mere

Old hotel, my room was not very up to date or clean. The bed and linen were fresh, comfortable and clean. And the complementary breakfast was nice and limited.

Our room reeked of cigarette smoke. Gross!

Stayed here for two nights and could not have been happier!

The room that we stayed in at the Rodeway Inn had a nice large room with King size bed it was upstairs and it's location in Old Temecula is fantastic especially for walking around the shops in this cute little town, that being said DON'T stay anywhere near the pool, upstairs or downstairs! The pool pump is constantly running and even with my air/heater […] on and even the TV on it makes so much noise and such that its too distracting to get any proper sleep, the freeway nearby was quieter! I stayed the weekend before xmas..it has very few parking spots and is across the street from a popular bar in Old Town Temecula..for the condition of it, its not worth what i paid and definitely will stay elsewhere from now on. I actually can't believe hotels.com recommends this place on their site.

This place was very run down, missing privacy lock and no air conditioning or heat

Across the street from Stampede Dance Hall nice. Price is fair so don't expect the Ritz!

not too shabby, not too much either...didn't come to CA to sit and marvel at my hotel room all day, so for me, it was fine.

Small dirty looking room and there was lots of noise outside. The bed was not comfortable at all and the pillows were the worst! It's ok if ur in a pinch or just looking for easy old town access, but I would spend more next time for a more comfortable stay.

I think this is the worst place I have ever stayed. It was just plain awful. The over all condition of the room was so bad. It definately qualifies as a "dump."

We were in the hotel for 2 nights. I would stay here again whenever we are in the area. The room was clean, bathroom included. The location of the hotel is fantastic.

This the most convenient and less expensive hotel to stay at. It's not fancy, but the room is nice and beds are very comfortable. We have stayed 12 nights and have always been satisfied with the stay. It's close to Front Street for easy access to restaurants. the pipes in the room rattled thru the night. Hotel desk had to call manager at home. Determined there was air in the pipes connected to two rooms. Not good when sleeping.

This hotel is okay (to say the least) if you're just passing through. Others who tend to stay here seem transient and left me a bit worrisome.

Hotel was very clean. Beds coulds be softer and noise from neighbors awakened me during the night. I would stay at this facility again.

Everything was okay except between 2-2:30am when the bar crowd hit the hotel. It got a little loud. Over all not a bad stay.

we attended a wedding in the area and this was one of several hotels listed on bridal couple's website.those of us who stayed at rodeway merely walked across the street for pre wedding events, the rest had to drive back into OLD TOWN- great location!!

my stay there was very good, I had to add another day and they were able to make that happen,

We arrived too early for check-in before we went on our wine tasting tour. Of course, I knew a room wouldn't be available but I figured the hotel would have provisions to hold luggage. Anyway, the hotel manager refused to hold our luggage which meant we had to store it in our trunk in over 100 degree weather. The location is excellent to walk around […] Old Town Temecula shops and near wineries. The AC unit in the room was ridiculous loud and kept us up much of the night. Læs mere

The hotel is located in Old Town Temecula, which as a whole is actually a nice place to hang out. It has the old town feel, yet there are spots of new trendy restaurant, club type places on the main street. That's the good. The bad and ugly lies in this poor excuse of a hotel. Host was barely attentive, no smile, no thank you, he was too busy texting. […] The room was smelly, the toilet wasn't working at first. I opened up the tank and I wish I hadn't after seeing how filthy it was. I actually saw a dead bug on the floor near the bathroom. The owners of this hotel don't care and it shows. Læs mere

Need nite time security checks on premise to check drunk occupants arriving after hours and making loud noises until early morning.

The hotel is very clean. We were here for 7 days. The pool and hot tub both are in working order. The location is fantasic right in the midst of old town. You can walk to everywhere you want. The hotel was quite at night even though you are adjacent to highway. Just ask for room away from highway and you will be fine. The breakfast is bagles & danish. […] If you need more the Swing Cafe is 100 yds away with everything else. Læs mere

My colleague and I arrived about midnight and got our rooms rather quickly. My room was too hot and the AC thermostat was broken with the springs exposed! Call the Front Desk and I was informed that AC only works, when outside is too hot and at that time, he added the weather wasn't too hot! he brought me a desktop fan, which was dirty and noisy. I […] called again and asked for tissues and he informed me that all rooms were OUT of tissues, sorry! And no attempts were made to make up for these two issues. I may have a contract signed in Temecula, which may necissitate 2-3 of us stay 3 nights a week for the forseeable future. I doubt if Rodeway Inn will be the place, if this event is NOT an anamoly! it was only a couple of miles away from the winery's we planned in visiting, the downtown area was great. the breakfast was a joke though.

We stayed here for one night and so glad it was one night. The room smelled funky and you could tell it had been awhile since the room was properly cleaned. The noise level at night was crazy. You could hear all the music from the resturants and bars on the main street, blaring car radios and reving motorcycles. I turned on the room fan and had earplugs […] and still could hear everything. There were alot of other guests who smoked outside making it hard to keep the room windows open. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else. Læs mere

I thought it was going to be a crappy room, the cheapest I could find but it wasn't bad. It was clean and close to old town, good shopping good food overall nice. Its not the Ritz but better than Motal 6 I hope that helps.

Itl's not a top of the line hotel but it does it's purpose. If you are not planning to stay in the hotel all day, it is worth it. Especially that it is located in Old Town Temecula, within 15 minutes of all the winerys, as well as Pechanga Casino. I would stay there again.

I read some of the reviews figuring that this place would be a sh*thole, but it actually wasnt bad. Free internet, okay amenities. Solid 3

It's the least expensive stay in Temecula, so you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is very small and you can skip breakfast as it's a slim spread. But...for the money you save, you can get breakfast in town (I recommend Sweet Lumpies down the street both for taste and service).
