Hotellet har en rigtig god beliggenhed men synes ikke at kunne leve helt op til de 4 stjerner. Bl.a. er gangareal og tæpper på gulvene i flere tilfælde gået op, morgenmaden er ikke god men nok mere engelsk hotelstandard, hvor der er mere optimalt at finde en mindre morgenmadsrestaurant for at få lidt frisk morgenmad. Den sidste dag var der ingen håndklæder […] på værelset kl. 17 og først efter to besøg i receptionen fik vi nye rene håndklæder kl. 19.30. Hotellet var udgået for rene håndklæder. Værelset var udstyr mæssigt ok (ekskl. køkkendelen) men et værelse i kælderen til så en høj pris pr. overnatning er bestemt ikke i orden. De gående på gaden kunne lige kikke ned til værelset. Super godt hotel, med en rigtig god beliggenhed. God størrelse på lejligheden og det var skønt med en god base, når vi havde brug for et hvil. Vi havde vores 3 børn med, og de syntes, at det var alletiders. Dejligt roligt kvarter og få minutters gang fra Bayswater tubestation og indkøb. Personalet var imødekommende, da vi havde brug for at låne en computer, […] da vi var så "uheldige" at strande i London 4 dage ekstra pga. askeskyen... Morgenmaden var ikke pengene værd. Gratis lån af vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Det er bestemt et hotel vi vil anbefale til andre. Og skal vi til London igen, vil vi bestemt bo på dette hotel igen. Læs mere

Vi blev meget positivt overrasket over hotelværelset.. Pænt rentgjort og lækkert badeværelse. Stor fordel at der er et lille køkken, med alt hvad der er behov for. Vi havde forventet et hotelværelse, men det var jo en hel lille lejlighed. Servicen var også helt i top. Meget venlige personaler som var meget hjælpsomme når vi havde behov for det. Området […] er også dejligt. Det ligger tæt på undergrundsbanen, og der er mange butikker/restauranter i gå afstand fra hotellet. Fin service i reception - lala rengøring og service(tallerkener, glas m.m.) på værelset som bliver rette op ved henvendelse i receptionen. Rigtig god base for Business og fritid. Boede i en triple suite som var noget "snæver" og kringlet i indretningen.

Gode lejligheder med masser af plads, Meget sødt og hjælpsomt personale. God beliggenhed, rent og pænt. ok morgenmad

The hotel was excellently situated. The rooms where more than ok. The only thing we lacked was somewhere to put our things in the living room as we were four adults. In the sleeping room there was ample of space and wardrobes. But not in the room for the other two (i.e. in the living room). If you are a family of four it is perfect. We stayed for 4 nights. Conviniently close to several undergroundstations, next to Hyde Park, good for running. The hotel was somewhat worn down, with narrow halls and steps, personal. We could not hear anything from the other rooms, but from the street. The windows very in ugly shape, and partially loose, so there was a big crack even when the window […] was "closed". You could hear the noise from the street very clearly, but that was not a problem for us, since the street was quiet during the nights (do not know how it would be in the wéekends). As I cannot compre the hotel to other hotels in London, it is difficult to say, but the room was otherwise very satisfactory, knowing the reputation of English hotels. The room was clean, bathroom really nice, the floor was a bit bouncy at places. The bed was really good.The price was a bit on the expencive side, but probably ok. Knowing that we would get the same room again, i probably would choose this hotel again. Very close to services, and Notting Hill area is so nice. Læs mere

This is a great place to stay if you are traveling with your family. The separate rooms and fold out beds give everyone space but keeps you together. There are lots of families staying here, so if you aren't in that category it can get noisy in halls and public spaces. Not the best layout for working, though the internet was fast and reliable. Hotel […] is in fair-good condition overall - could use some new paint and a few repairs. Comfortable beds and reasonably clean. Kitchenette has the basics and is useful for early breakfast or late night bites. Inexpensive laundrette on site is great if you're staying several days. Very close to a shopping center for forgotten items and 5 min walk to two tube stations to get around London easily. Læs mere

We stayed in a triple executive apartment. The bedroom had a kingsize bed & flat screen TV, an en-suite & an open plan lounge/dining area with kitcenette, dining table & flat screen TV. There was even a good sized storage closet. It was nice & spacious, split over two floors. Often a hotel room can become claustrophobic, so it was nice having some walking […] space. It was extremely clean which was very much to our liking. The hotel staff were extremely polite, friendly & even allowed us to have a later check out time at no extra cost. There were several vending machines dispensing snacks & drinks on various floors. The location was very good. Only a short walk from Queensway & Bayswater stations. Right round the corner from Whiteley's shopping centre & the numerous good restaurants (many of which are Halal) in the Queensway/Bayswater/Westbourne Park area. There's also several supermarkets in the area, Tesco, Sainsbury's & M&S if you need them. We really enjoyed our stay & would happily recommend the apartment for those that need a bit of room & like something less stuffy than a normal hotel room. Læs mere

My family and I have stayed here three times in the last four years, so we like this hotel well enough to keep coming back. The entire property has been recently updated and kept clean. Our room had *both* wired and wireless high speed internet. The wireless access point was in the kitchen, so there was a strong signal throughout the suite. dirty, smelly, old, never ever again.

Pleasantly surprised by this accomodation - although further out of centre than we normally choose, it was much cheaper than the Covent Garden area, and standards of accomodation were very good as well as very clean and modern. Ideal for families with children who can make full use of kitchenette and save on buying meals out. Plenty of well known shops […] nearby, supermarkets chemists etc. And about 15 min walk from Kensington Gardens, Kensington Place etc. Staff were very nice and helpful. use Central Line for easy access to Oxford St etc, only a short ride away. paper thin wall, weired settings, smell, carpet with stains, and itchy bed sheet.........you want to check out right away the minute you move in.

The Grand Plaza was ideally located on the Circle & District Lines. The surrounding area was quiet, but there were plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and also stored our luggage when we checked out so we could make the most of our time in London. The apartment did not look like the pictures displayed when […] we made our booking, but were more than adequate for our needs. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was roomy and the living area was compact, but perfectly adequate. I would definatelty recommend using serviced apartments as opposed to a hotel as it gives you more flexibility. We stayed here one night as a transition between apartments. It seems like a hotel best for families on a long trip. The hotel room had a staircase and 2 floors with a separate living room/kitchen (with a double bed in it) from the bedroom. The hotel itself was not convenient for us as there is only one (slow) elevator and we had a lot of luggage but […] the condition of the room was fine and we would've been perfectly happy without the luggage! One of the most unpleasant experiences ever, even I have travelled A LOT! The room that was given to us, was an old storage room. Floor was lumpy and in he middle of the room was huge funnel (laundry tube?). Curtains could not be kept open, due the street was just in the same level, people literally passing just a meter away. My family with 2 kids stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in March 2012. We were so disappointed by our apartment. It was in the basement. When we arrived it was so cold in there. Eventhough it was very hot outside, the appartment was still freezing cold. The electric heaters didn't help much. Not much light came in through the windows. When we looked […] out of the window we could see a tiny little open space, more like a tiny depressing prison yard, so we didn't bother to open the curtains during the day. The appartment was clean enough, but because of lack of sunlight or maybe the colours of the walls and the carpet, it felt like it was dirty and discusting. OK hotel, room design a bit cramped with poor layout, the room safe did not work and the hotel did not fix it despite repeated requests.

Great location. Only criticism would be that they claim to have fully renovated in 2010, but the carpet was quite old and in need of replacement. The breakfast was really good, and the people working in the breakfast room went out of their way to provide great service. I also noticed after our stay that they claimed to have access to Kensington Square […] Garden, I wish that they had told us that when we were checking in and had showed us where or how to utilize the garden. We were very impressed by the standard of decoration and comfort of the room, the excellent room service , the location. There was no noise in the hotel. Our room had a very pleasant view over a quiet square with trees. Two minutes from the shops and very reasonably priced restaurants as well as the tube. The location of the hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk from Bayswater Station that you can go sightseeing and shoping at London easily. The staff of the hotel are warm and professional. The room is tidy and comfortable. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Free wifi is an advantage. There is variety of food in the breakfast. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Well presented and clean apartment which was very competitively priced. WE only stayed one night so cannot comment about service but the receptionists were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend the appartments to friends and colleagues.

As a family of five, this hotel actually exceeded our expectations for a London hotel for the price we paid. We had good sized, clean, well equipped accomodation in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend on this experience.

Very convenient to local amenities and tube stations to all surrounding central London areas.

Three minutes from Bayswater Tube Station, the hotel is part of an elegant London Square. It is very close to Whiteley's shopping centre and Queensway is lined with shops, (and pubs and restaurants) so self catering is easy. Our apartment was located in the courtyard in a modern block. It was well appointed with a good kitchen and dining area, a superior […] spacious bathroom and a comfortable main bedroom. The breakfast service was good with plenty of choice and the hotel looked after our luggage efficiently on our final day. If you are bringing your family to London, this is a good choice. Læs mere

Nice hotel. Very good service from the staff. The hotel could have had better maintanance (doors, drawers, lights where not in good shape), but overall impression was good. Large rooms and perfect location.

Rooms were disgusting!!! Dirty and smelly. Paper thin walls. Noise was disturbing. Not even anywhere close to a 4 star. Other than location nothing good abut our stay here. Would never come back or recommend to a friend

Great location. Friendly service. Generous room size. Disappointed however that having requested a garden view we ended up in the basement.

The location was good but the hotel needs some renovation for floors and windows!!!

When we walk around the apartment, we are pleasantly surprised to find so many stores, restaurants, supermarkets, Chinese grocery stores, Peking duck takeout with few minutes walk! Apartments very overpriced for condition. Very small and two sofa beds in lounge, expected a 2 bed apartment. Up two flights of stairs and no lift. Breakfast in the morning was hectic. Worth it!!

A fantastic discovery. When first got into room though it was spacious and comfortable, think that it was a studio as there was a bed in the corner, which would have been fine. Walked down the stairs to what I thought was the bathroom to find a further double bedroom and bathroom. An excellent location, tho if you don't know London, could get a little […] confusing I imagine. 2 mins walk to bayswater tube. This place is very clean and comfortable, and everything you need as if it were your own appt for your stay. Apartment was very nice in the basement but needed a little deep cleaning in the carpet. Otherwise very nice, great value for money and VERY convenient. Staff were helpful and pleasant - we will stay there again.

Great location and just a a few hundred meters from both Bayswater and Queensway tubestation. Not very "clean" feeling in the room... Dirty carpets makes you want to wear shoes inside.
