"OK breakfast"
You stay at this hotel if you're are looking for at place to sleep for one night. My family and I asked for a new room because everything in the room was wet! The new room on secend floor was ok for the money. The breakfast was fine with good coffee and fresh fruit.

"clean and comfortable hotel for one night stay"
we stayed at this hotel for an event in the area -- it was the closet hotel available. The cost was reasonable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's quality and comfort. Clean room (not luxurious but nice enough for one night stay, great breakfast, nice (short) nature trail, pet friendly, pleasant staff -- I would stay there again
"Wonderfully charming Clarion Hotel in upstate NY"
Staff was extremely polite and friendly. The breakfast was hot and delicious, great American style. The rooms were super clean, the A/C worked well, and the whole place oozed B-n-B charm while clearly being a great business hotel as well. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Was in the area for a few days, and this was a great deal. The hotel was nice and in good condition, had no problems with staff. The included breakfast was great, and they have a restaurant on site (which was a bit pricey so I didn't check it out)
"Little Gem"
What a great surprise it was to find this hotel on our mini road trip round the North-East. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very nicely kept. The restaurant was great and would recommend that one has dinner there, great service and food. All in all a great experience and would definitely go back if the opportunity presents itself!

Hotel was fine, easy to get to and comfortable. Price was good. Breakfast was good. Workout room was sparse. Overall value was very good.

I would have never found this place without Hotels.com, but it is convenient to Latham and Clifton Park. It's an older property, but in surprisingly good condition. The staff was great, and they are truly pet friendly. They were actually excited to see our dog, and greeted her more affectionately than us. (Not the norm at other pet friendly places that […] don't seem so happy.) The rooms were a good size, with all the standard amenities, and very clean. The free breakfast was buffet style, with plenty to choose from. Not your average free breakfast. I will definitely be using this hotel again when I go back to Clifton Park. Læs mere

"Century House Hotel in Latham - Great Value"
We recently stayed twice at the Century House. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast included was very good--much better than your typical complimentary breakfast at most 3 star hotels. A few minor issues to note--there are lots of stairs in the hotel and no elevators--which made things more difficult for us as we had a baby with a stroller. […] Also, the phone in one of our rooms didn't work (not a big deal as we always use our cell phones) and the bathroom sink in our other room didn't drain well. The staff overall was nice and these minor issues aside, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend to others, as it's one of the better 3-star hotels I have stayed at, especially for the value. "Room had bad smell"
OK...granted, we had a dog and so, consequently, we got put into a "dog" room....but this room smelled so bad we could hardly sleep. The condition of the door that we went into was in very bad shape and needs repair...wouldn't close so security was an issue also. Breakfast was GREAT...but sleeping was not.
The service and breakfast were outstanding. We had our little dog with us and loved the convenience of being able to bring her with us. The bed was heavenly. No down side to this stay!

"Very pleased with this hotel - defintely recommend"
Charming hotel for sure. Best we stayed at during our week long stay in PA, NJ, NY and MA. Breakfast was very good & free. Coffee and tea prepared at all times for hotel guests. Convenient parking. Comfy beds. Small but useful workout room.
"Not a true three star hotel"
Bad was very uncomfortable, bugs were crawling the walls, one was in my bad, TV was small and old (tube tv), floor was dirty. Breakfast was ok, service was good.

In general, the hotel was very comfortable, and met our needs. I did not like the waterproof mattress pad because it made the bed uncomfortably hot. In addition, it seems as if there is no provision to lock the back door, so over-all security is not as good as I would like.
"Great Hotel, Very Convenient"
The room was great, location is quiet and easy to reach. One complaint that keeps this from being all 5's was the inability to print my boarding pass for the following morning's flight. Not a deal breaker but should have been an easy request for any hotel in this day and age. Overall great experience.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel for business purposes. The reason I will always come back is because The rooms are always very clean and the workers are very friendly. The main reason I will continue to go back is for the breakfast. It is not a conventional hotel breakfast. They make the food for you and they have all sorts […] of fresh items to choose from. "The Century House - welcome surprise"
I grew up in Albany, always passing The Century House on my way to visit my grandparents. I now live in San Francisco, so decided to stay there over Thanksgiving. It was convenient but also satisfied my curiosity. It is an older property and has a Colonial Williamsburg kind of charm - but we were quite happy. Staff was really lovely during a busy holiday […] weekend. The free airport transfer was handy. And the free breakfast was awesome! No stale bagels or bad coffee. Totally worth getting up early. "Country Feel at the Clarion"
I enjoyed the quaint, country feel of the Clarion in Latham. The decor was traditional colonial, and the staff was very friendly. Having a restaurant on site to provide room service was a big plus. "quaint setting"
The hotel itself was very pretty, looking more like a cozy apartment building than a hotel. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The adjoining restaurant was wonderful. However, don't believe any of the reviews about the breakfast. Maybe we hit it on a bad day, but it was awful. The eggs were powdered, not fresh. The sausage was extremely greasy […] and hard. There was a waffle maker available, but we had to wait 15 min for someone to bring us out the batter so that we could cook some. The only other choices were cereal and danish. The hotel was nice. The free breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was friendly and courteous. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant and it was very good. I would highly recommend it.

The hotel offered friendly service, and clean and comfortable rooms. But the reason I would go back is for the great food at the restaurant, which was reasonably priced. The service was excellent. "Very nice hotel!"
This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The manager, Sam, went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and help us with some concert tickets. I met the owner and he was very friendly and gracious. The beds were very comfortable and the whole appearance of the room was very pleasing.
