The one takeaway from this place was how exceptionally polite, attentive and receptive the staff were. In terms of customer service, the experience was exceedingly impressive. The drawback was the mattresses were a little too firm for me, which made it hard to sleep well. The free wifi was good but a tad slow. Hot breakfast was quite decent. Scambled […] eggs, sausages, yoghurt, toast, croissants, cereal, juice, beans, bacon. It's a 2 min walk from the train station, next door to a movie theater, bowling alley and three chain restaurants. Great experience overall. For the price, I'd definitely stay again. Læs mere

hotel staff were very quick to find us a room with a sofa bed, for my son as the room reserved did not have one.wifi included and really comfortable beds.

parking is an issue as the hotel does not have its own car parking facilities. Be aware every time you leave the multi-storey car park you will have to pay on each exit and obtain a new parking ticket on entry.

Very pleasant location in the center of Bradford, the rooms of was large and spacious as compared to a similar room in North America.

Having arrived after a long journey. I was surprised to hear that I booked my self a smoking room! Never have I booked a smoking room and never will I accept a smoking room. I was not offered alternative as hotel was fully booked. Anyone booking please check small print!

Adequate accomadition although the bad was small the location was good lift out of order which meant queues for the only working lift surprised they still had smoking rooms which could be smelt in the hallways not pleasant for non-smokers

We stayed for 2 nights as we were visiting nearby attractions. The receptionist who checked us in was really nice and helpful; can't say the same for the bar.. They had run out of wine, the staff did not seem to be familiar with bar service; on both nights there was very few guests using the bar considering the size of the hotel.

we booked an overnight stay to break up a journey home. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.Our family stay with two children was excellent value for money and breakfast was an added bonus. Thank you for a relaxing night.

My stay was nice. Hotel is located at really convenient location. Interchage is just 2 min. walk. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly and helpful. It is quite good. Will recommend this hotel

Bit of a strange to do finding the place once parked up in a nearby overnight pay and display - use the office car park at weekends rather than the multii-storey and save a few bob. Once in there, all ok. We were a family of four in the room and managed to get by with the sofa-bed pulled out - which wasn't very comfortable apparently. Rest of room fine […] apart from the broken double-glazed window which had lost its ability to keep the traffic noise out so it could have been quiter. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good as it was included in the room rate if a bit manic - too many people and too few staff to cope. Even the moans in this review couldn't stop it being very good value stay for the four of us. Læs mere

The HIE Bradford was excellent on every level.,great price including buffet self service breakfast,attentive but not intrusive staff.Matthew on check-in was great and a special mention to the Chef who cooked us fresh sausages when we turned up at the last minute to breakfast on our last day.Ideally located within a few minutes walk of Bradford Interchange(coach/bus/train) […] and a brisk 5 minute walk to the town centre.Hotel is situated within a small complex ,containg a Cinema(Cineworld) Bowling Alley,Nandos,Frankie and Bennys and Bingo Hall...Hotel was clean and inviting,I have no complaints about anything and would definitely stay again. Very useful for anyone looking for one night in Bradford but any longer and you would be looking for another hotel. For the price it wasn't bad but I would advise anyone tO stay well away from the smoking rooms as they were disgusting. The non smoking rooms were much better, but still poor. They use the space well in the rooms and the bathrooms are […] clean enough. Breakfast was not the best but it's included in the price. Overall I would say it's useful if you want the city centre for a night but any longer and I would rather pay a bit extra. Læs mere

I have stayed before. Good location, good price. Room was average for the price range. Shower badly designed so water spilt everywhere. Breakfast not too bad, certainly better than years back.

Very close to the two Main Railway Stations. Arrived by Train from Scotland and visited Leeds by rail - very easy access. Would use the Hotel again. Bradford is an Interesting place to Visit. Leeds is a Must for the Night Life. Looking forward to my next Visit.

Excellent stay and secure hotel lots of facilities in walking distance. Pleasant staff. Only slight disappointment being the breakfast which was limited on the hot plate to sausage (only 2 left and "well done") egg and beans, cold breakfast selection was OK

Best town centre Hotel found in Bradford. Polite friendly staff, comfortable room, good buffet breakfast, full size shower makes great change from usual over-bath horror stories. Clean, quiet room and very reasonable rates. Can't fault it - Would stay again!

Excellant location, part of a lesiure complex, cinema, casino and bowling all downstairs with plenty of eating places. warning this is a city centre location so you can occassionally hear city noise. room was clean and modern, staff were so friendly on arrival, could not of done more, carparking for the whole weekend was only £6, once the reception […] had validated my ticket. breakfast buffet was good, all tastes catered for. and free wifi in the reception/dinning room was enough for my email checking, will be using holiday inn again, good value compared to travel lodge & prem inn, thankyou Læs mere

Was pleasantly surprised, for a hotel in the city overlooking the ring road, there was little noise in the room. Great service, polite and friendly staff. Fantastic rates; was actually cheaper than what I was quoted online. Suggestions for improvement are: free and reserved parking for hotel guests - at present, guests must pay a separate parking […] fee and fight with non-hotel visitors to find a spot in the most convenient location; internet in the hotel room - internet is only available in the hotel lobby; and night security patrol in the outside area between parking and hotel - when returning late at night it was disconcerting to have to walk past abusive gentlemen who were drinking in the walkway when the attractions and restaurants were closed and the area was deserted. We paid not a lot of pounds for a family of 4 B&B after a building mis-hap at home. Room fine (no bath for the kids but we managed!) bit crammed with the 2 double beds but what we expected for the money! Breakfast great, staff friendly. Only warning would be the advertised room service of food from the casino below, I called them late once the kids […] were settled asleep and checked we could get room service for the fee of 3 pound as stated (my husband works in the city centre and was still at work), the casino agreed the room service only to receive a phone call from the hotel reception to collect our food! Luckily my husband had returned to work and we were able to collect it from reception without disturbing the kids - but for the money he could have gone down again and collected from the casino! The response we got when we complained was that of a 'well its tuff now' attititude! After all that - the chips were crap and not a lot of them although the cheese burger was good (thank goodness!). Hotel is basic but that was expected at the price, not a complaint. Perfectly adequate, staff really friendly. The only fault I'd find with it is that it was incredibly hard to find a way into, even when we saw the sign on the side of the building - there's no direct, drive in entrance!

A very good low cost hotel ideally located for a family staying in Bradford, the hotel complex has a cinema, ample, low cost parking, bowling alley and a great selection of places to eat and is a short walk from all the local services and the city center.

Not free WiFi for customers, or parking for customers (as they promised) and very bad quality of ingredients at breakfast. Also the location of the Hotel is very noisy with dangerous surroundings.

Overall, we were extremely satisfied. In particular, the people on the reception were very pleasant and welcoming. When we were there the hotel was quite empty (is it new?) and there was only one other room occupied on our floor. As a result we got a very peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was offered at a very civilised time _ this was our weekend so […] we didn't want to get up at the crack of dawn! Two little gripes - breakfast didn't include bacon! The toast needs a proper toaster. Those rotating grills only toast on one side. Very satisfied overall. Læs mere

The hotel is good and in a really good location. Room was very nice and the breakfast in the morning was more than enough to keep you going The only negative was that parking was in a multi story not attached to the hotel so you had a 5 minute work to get to the hotel and your room. This is fine if your by yourself but I was there with the family. […] So gettng all the bits from the car to aour room took me about 5 trips and 50 minutes!
