NH Museum Quarter - Amsterdam

Vi er en familie på tre der opholdt os tre nætter på hotellet og vi var rigtig godt tilfredse med beliggenheden (meget nær Vondelpark) med mange muligheder for at aktivere små aktive børn. Selve værelset var rummeligt og indeholdt køleskab til lidt drikkevarer etc. Positiv oplevelse!

Hotellet ligger lige Van Gogh museet, et stort gademarked, Heineken Bryggeriet og meget andet. Det er meget centralt i forhold til kanalrundfart, bus, tram osv. Vil klart vende tilbage til dette hotel en anden gang! Hotellet har en rigtig fin standard med gode værelser. Husk at bede om et værelse ud mod gaden, da de værelser som vender mod gården har […] en "lidt kedelig" udsigt. Havde hotellet haft morgenmad inkluderet og wifi der virkede, havde det være en 5'er. Værelserne er ikke supersmarte - men vi fik et fantastisk hjørneværelse med udsigt til by og kanal - og det hele ligger lige ved bydelen Pijp og museerne. Vælg det trygt - og sigt evt. efter rum 514

Tæt på museer, gåafstand (15-25 min) til byen. Lyse værelser Ingen parkering. Kan parkere på gader i nærheden til 36 euro pr dag.

Helt igennem fint hotel- vi har været meget tilfredse. Eneste minus var dyr morgenmad- 19 euro/person. Derfor valgt vi at spise morgenmad på café i nærheden.

We stayed at NH Muesum quarter for the first time and already we are planning a return trip. The staff are very efficient and very friendly.. Our room was on the 5th floor and overlooked the canal giviing us a great view of the city. Great breakfast too! Thre was a littel traffic noise but not enough to disturb us. The hotel sent us directions from […] the airport which worked well. We caught the 197 bus from the airprt and we were dropped off almost at the corner of the street...very cheap too..only 4 euro each which is a big saving on taxi fares. A great find. Læs mere

Convenient to places we wanted to go. They need to replace stained rugs in hallways and rooms.The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. I would recommend the hotel.

This NH hotel was average. There are better NH Hotels in Amsterdam with better service, rooms and location.

Location is not in city center (45 minute to Central station by walk) but there is tram station front of Hotel and you can arrive to city center in 12 minute Rooms was too big, clean and confortable No free internet acces in room (daily internet is 12 €)

We enjoyed our stay. Spacious, nice room. Good location. Helpful staff. We will go back there.

The room size and condition is excellent based on any standards (US or European). They allowed us to check-in early and we did not have any problem with the hotel staff. Our room looks out to the Boerenwetering canal and the De Pijp neighborhoodm where you can explore restaurants that locals go to. It is really close to the sites, we only had to walk […] to the canal boat stop or to the Leidseplein to catch a tram (about a 5min walk). We loved our hotel room here! It was spacious, even with a cot added in. It was comfortable, the tub was big and the views were great! Especially for how cheap it was! It's near the Van Gogh Museum.

We were so comfortable in the NH Museum Quarter Hotel. It was ideally located for us since we love to visit the museums. Location is very convenient, hotel is quiet and they have 5 pm checkout on Sundays which is very handy if you're going for a weekend away. I would stay there again.

The hotel was easily accessed by tram and we had the nicest room of our month long Europe trip,it was on the 2nd floor with canal views,it was well located to museums and shopping. The staff was generally helpful with directions and informations,the only sour note of our 4 nights stay occurred the night before our departure,someone had taken a small […] box containing 2 souvernirs which we had left on the long TV bench.We know that we definitely did not throw out or misplaced the box because we had carried the box throught 2 countries before we arrived. An excellent hotel in all respects and close to Van Goch Museum and a tram stop for the rest of the city. Shops and supermarket near by.

Nice hotel, good location. Room was clean and everything worked. Only downside was that I had booked twin beds and ended up with a double.

This hotel was a great price and worth the stay. It was only a quick walk to the museums and shopping district. Using a hop-on/hop-off canal cruise at these locations made getting around to the rest of the city very easy. The room and hotel were clean and staff were friendly. No complaints here - we would stay again.

I had read mixed reviews of this hotel but decided to book it anyway, in the hopes I would be one of the lucky ones who had a lovely stay. I was not. Our room was absolutely filthy. The carpet smelled stale, old and musty, and in the corners, where the carpet meets the wall, it was literally black. Every day, despite the cold weather, we had to leave […] the windows open for hours at a time to try to freshen the place up. We stayed for three nights and had our room made up every day. However, our sheets were not changed for the entire duration. We had hoped to spend a bit of time in our room relaxing but instead we spent most of our time out because our room was not a nice place to be. On the plus side, however, the location was good, very close to Vondelpark and the Rijksmuseum and only a short walk to Leidseplein. The 16 and 24 trams stop only a two minute walk away also. The location is perfect if you are mostly interested in exploring the city during the day. It has a convenient and quiet location. No noises coming from the hall or from outside. Everything was in a good condition. The front desk manager allowed us to check in early at about 10 am, which was very convenient. All in all highly recommended.

I recently stayed at the NH Museum Quarter Hotel. Overall the hotel presents a beautiful picture. However, I was sitting in the bar with my pet cat, who I had to bring with me, when he spotted a mouse and began his chase..... It would have been extremely funny except for the fact that I was staying there.... The hotel staff did not seem to upset or […] surprised........ oh yeah..the Internet is very slow and disconnects regularly ......... My partner and I enjoyed a two night stay at this hotel during a break in Amsterdam. We found that it was easy to get to and from the hotel with good airport connections and a tram stop a 2-minute walk away. It is a short walk to the Museum Quarter for a lot of the main museums of Amsterdam as well as to the canal if you wish to do a cruise etc as we […] did. Staff are very helpful and supportive. It was the first time at a hotel of the group of NH hotels. Generally I was very satisfied with the service. The specific hotel of that district was chosen because it was very close to the two most famous museums of Amsterdam - Van Gogh and Riksmuseum- and was affordable. While this hotel is a little way from the centre of Amsterdam it is worth it's weight in gold! Away from the hustle and bustle and only a 5 min tram ride into town - 1 minute walk to the stop. Staff was so helpful and nice - we were truly amazed. The room was bright, clean and the beds were so comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and loved our stay. The front desk was extremely helpful suggesting restaurants in the area. Public transportation is just around the corner, several museums just a little walk away. We were frustrated with the 15 minute limit to the internet - lobby only. Nice hotel. We got a room on the top floor and had a fantastic view over the chanel. Much better than we expected for the price. We didn't try the breakfast as it was not included. The free candy in the lobby was really good though. It was possible to walk in to town but we usually took the tram.

Good location, clean, nice size rooms, friendly staff. Did not have the breakfast so can't comment. The only negative would be the beds as they were a bit on the soft side for me. Iron and ironing board in the room.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Paula at the front desk. The location was close enough to walk to a bunch of good bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would gladly book again.

This clean and modern hotel was perfect for my four day visit to Amsterdam. Located in a residential/office neighborhood, it was away from the noise and crowds of the city center, but near to all I wanted to see. The hotel is perfectly located to the museums, restaurants, and sites. We walked everywhere! It has the feel of a neighborhood boutique hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped and the desk staff could not have been more helpful. This is not fancy hotel, but it is perfect for the guest wanting convenience, quiet, and helpfulness.

Having to book a last minute trip to Amsterdam to watch my son compete in the World Rowing Championships, I chose NH Museum Quarter based on a previous review. WOW! Great location as I needed to get to public transportation. ( 5 minute walk). Hotel is right on a canal and within walking distance to an open market, shops, museums and best of all The […] Heineken Experience. Completely helpful staff. We could leave our luggage 2 days before we could check in with the hotel.. Excellent hotel, took full care of our needs!

Not bad value. The Internet here is terrible. The wi fi in the lobby stops after 30 mins making it unusable. And you have to keep asking for codes from busy staff. Was mouse running under bar too.

Hire a bike and the location is no problem.

Loved the nh Museum Quarter hotel. Very comfortable rooms, incredibly helpful staff and very close to everything, including tram stops. The hotel even had an ice machine on each floor!!! Quite unheard of in Europe. And a small refrigerator in our room. And free Internet in the lobby area. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.

After travelling for two months and staying in around a dozen other hotels of a similar rating, it was wonderful to finally find a hotel where the room was spacious, clean and pleasant, the plumbing efficient, the beds comfortable, the staff consistently courteous and even a laundry available on-site.
