Et helt i orden hotel lidt uden for centrum. Gode forbindelser med sporvogn og bus. Et godt hotel som udgangspunkt for ture i Budapest og opland. Et hotel hvor du spiser din morgenmad før dagens nye oplevelser. Beregnet til overnatning - har ikke andre aktiviteter så som restaurent og dag/aften liv.

Rigtig godt hotel med et yderst venligt personale. Værelserne er gode standard hotel værelser med ingen åbenlyse mangler. Priserne er yderst rimelige ift. området. Hver morgen er der en simpel, men lækker morgenmadsbuffet med valg af æg, brød, pålæg og frugt.

Dejligt hotel på Buda siden, beliggende i roligt kvarter. God morgen mad og gode værelser

Roligt og meget centralt beliggende på Buda-siden af Donau. Betjeningen engageret og meget hjælpsom. En morgenløbetur langs Donau ligger kun 50 meter fra hotellets dør! Det skal prøves! Bor også her næste gang jeg er i Budapest.

We stayed at Best Western Orion for 4 days and I must say that service, location and staff is very very good. We dropped off using public transport because it was more easy to walk around ( for example 10 min walk to Gellert Baths). Staff is serviceminded, helpfull and polite. Next time we decided to go to Budapest we definetely stay in this hotel.

Hotel BW Orion er et hyggeligt lille hotel, lidt trist at se på ude fra, men pænt og rent indendørs. Personalet var venlige og serviceminded. Værelset medium i størrelse med et mindre, men velfungerende badeværelse. OK morgenmad med lidt valgmuligheder og mulighed for forskellige ægtyper. Hotellet er placeret godt, tæt på Donau, så byen kan udforskes […] på gåben, ellers er der sporvogn meget tæt på og et godt transportsystem. Byen er smuk og der er meget at se. En god restaurant, der kan anbefales, ligger lige ved siden af hotellet , hedder Tabani Teresz, skøn ungarsk mad til rimelig penge, hyggelig indretning og god betjening, og et ekstra plus, at der er et par stuer til ikke-rygere. Hotel Orion i Budapest levede fuldt ud op til vore forventninger. Bed om et værelset mod gården, der er, forventeligt, en del trafikstøj til gadesiden. Værelserne er rummelige, der er alt, hvad man skal bruge. Venlig og meget serviceminded personale. God morgenmadsbuffet.

Middel hotel med god beliggenhed i rolige omgivelser. Vi elsker at gå, så det passede os fint med nogle kilometer fra centrum. Personalet var meget venlige og imødekommende og altid klar med hjælp, hvis der var brug for det.

Ophold var over alt forventning. Hotellet ser lidt nærrigt ud ude fra, men er utrolig rent og pænt indvendig, men en utrolig god service. Morgen mad med æg som du vil have dem. Efter udtjeknig blev vi tilbudt et værelte u/b et par timer, hvis vi ville sove lidt mere inden vi skulle i lufthavnen.

Hotellet ligger ved foden af Buda Castle, i lille hyggeligt kvarter tæt på Donuas floden, og i gå afstand til broer over til Pest området med butikker, restauranter og adgang til mange af Budapests "must see" oplevelser.

Dette hotel er helt sikkert prisen værd. Dejligt personale, der gerne står på pinde for dig. De står til rådighed med bestilling af taxa, anbefalinger af gode restaurenter og hvad du ellers kunne ønske. Værelserne er rene og pæne og morgenmaden yderst god til prisen. Fantastic location if you want to explore the city on foot. Staff very friendly andd helpful.Only downside is there is no bar in which to sit and unwind in the evening after a days walking (but there is a bar just around the corner!)

Nice rooms and clean with friendly staff. Less than a block from the Danube and close to Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge. Some but not many restaurants in the immediate area but 15 minute walk over the Chain Bridge to the Pest side of the city and you will find numerous restaurants. Would return to stay at this hotel.

Enjoyed a comfortable 4 night stay at Hotel Orion in Budapest. The hotel is comfortable rather than luxurious, but offers comfortable & value for money accommodation close to the city centre. Spotlessly clean & well maintained throughout. Staff are polite & helpful. Location is excellent, next to Elizabeth bridge, with tram & bus stops literally within […] 2 minutes walk. The staff were incredibly helpful and I was particularly impressed with the room considering the excellent price I paid for it. We stayed 4 nights and had no complaints at all. Unfortunately it is not possible to open the windows. Air-condition is set in winter and summer month to a standard and centrally distributed degree, for me it was too warm and therefore uncomfortable in the night. Would have returned if this issue would not exist.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is beginning to look tired - especially the bathroom. The thingy that opens/closes the plug is loose and the towel rail next to the washbasin is in poor condition (room 41). Breakfast was fine - remember to ask for eggs and bacon to be cooked for you. No noise from outside nor the lift next to the […] room. For most of the time the wifi connection was very poor and slow but was ok on the last evening. This was an awesome location. The price was very reasonable and the rooms were very nice. Everything is walking distance. No wifi in the 5th floor, but not a big deal.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is on the Buda side. You just walk across the bridge to get to the Pest side for all the restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. The Buda side is much quieter for your sleeping, since Pest is always on the go! The guy who worked the front desk during the day was fantastic! He is a hard worker and very friendly! We […] had a change of plans arred one night earlier than scheduled. He quickly helped arrange it so that we could get 2 rooms next to each other a night earlier than scheduled. He gave us fantastic suggestions for restaurants!!!! I didn't think the breakfast was worth the price though, since restaurants are very cheap in Hungary. There was meat, cheese, eggs, watermelon, apple's, juice and coffee. Very pleased with my stay here. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with items such as a mini bar, free wi-fi, etc. Spotlessly clean throughout the duration of my 4 day stay. The front desk team were exceptionally welcoming and couldn't do enough for their guests. Some have complained that the rooms are small but they are perfect if all […] you require is somewhere to rest up for the night. The hotel is ideally located on the Buda side of the city. Turn left out the hotel door to head up to the Castle. Or turn right out the door to head to the tram stop or walk along the riverside. Be careful of the cycling lane though! A taxi to the airport cost me 4600HUF which is about £17.00 and was good value. Other than that the excellent public transport will get you everywhere you need to go. Or you can walk as I did. Very much enjoyed my stay in Budapest and this hotel was perfect for my needs. Would recommend. Location on the Buda side was okay, not a bad walk to center but did have to cross the bridge or take a bus. Hotel was very nice. Friendly service. Room was comfortable, bathroom was small with a very good shower.

I really liked this hotel. You are very close to the Elizabeth Bridge to get to Downtown Pest, and you are just a short walk from Buda Castle. The room is big by European standards and I think if you book early enough, it is very affordable. The staff is nice and if you need water or a soda, the mini-bar is relatively cheap.

I would recommend this hotel without reservation. It is nicely situated in a quiet street near the Buda end of the Elizabeth Bridge. The staff were very friendly and courteous, the buffet breakfasts most generous and overall value exceptional.

A great hotel in Budapest, in a great location near the Dunabe River. The service I received was friendly and excellent, and the breakfast was very good for the price. Will definitely return in the future and feel refreshed and relaxed after my stay. It is also a short walk from one of the cities spa baths.

The staff was very helpful in our city exploring. The staff also very helpful in anything else we needed. My only concern is that they need to add another English tv channel other than BBC. Also the bathroom is a little too small. Otherwise, the location was wonderful - one block from the Danube River in the Buda side and close to a bridge to the Pest […] side. Hotel is between the Castle and Gellert Hill, the street it on is a bit run down but the hotel is grand and clean. Its very much a place to stay not a place to live, they are a few restaurants behind it for dinner and drinks

The hotel is on the Buda side of Budapest, just one block off of the river. It was quiet and comfortable. We did not have breakfast, but it looked and smelled really good. You do have to walk around 3 blocks toward Castle Hill to find the first restaurants on this side of the river, but the walk along the river is beautiful and we always felt safe.
