Very happy with a good handicapped room.
"Stop-over destivation"
We were at the hotel for less than 12 hours between Vancouver and the San Juan Islands. We arrived by train, and the Best Western paid for our taxi from the Amtrak station to the hotel, which was an unexpected surprise! The room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was enjoyable. "stay in Mt. Vernon"
I was in town for a tournament and just needed the one night. The hotel didn't actually look great from the outside, but everything was booked for miles around. Inside I was very pleasantly surprised. It seemd to have had a remodel in the rooms and the room was laid out very well with a helpful counter top running the length of one wall near the bathroom […] with a sink and mirror. "BW Cottontree Mt Vernon"
Hard beds. Mediocre breakfast buffet. Nice bedding but rough scratchy towels. Room was larger than average. Where o where was the flat screen TV? Front staff very friendly. Might stay again if rooms/beds are redone.
"Not worth it"
I asked for a quiet room at check-in but instead got put directly across from their conference rooms where a party with loud music wafted through the open doors until late. The music had good competition from the highway just a few yards away and from the paper thin hall doors that let the sounds of the drunks stumbling down the hallway come into the […] room. The linens were cheap, the mattress hard, the bathroom not particularly clean and their idea of a minibar was a cheap microwave balanced on top of a dorm fridge. "Convenient and Comfortable BW Hotel"
I'd stay in this hotel again. It is convenient and attractive in both the common areas and rooms. I had a room with 2 queen beds and it was more spacious than most. The bathroom was updated and the shower was great. I liked there was a space for my suitcase in an alcove near the bathroom and plenty of room to hang clothes. It was easy to control the […] room temperature. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was very quiet, even on this busy Memorial Day Weekend. We loved everything about our stay, The staff was more then helpful. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great, I would highly recommend this hotel..
