Staff was very nice, the hotel was under construction and what wasn't being remodeled, needed to be.

The room felt dirty and dusty. There was dust on the table and on the "information" binder - so that tells me they don't clean thoroughly. The floor had dirt on it and they definitely don't sweep along the wall as that was coated in a few layers of dust. The floor had a big black stain on it - actually the white blanket on my bed had a red stain on […] it that was pretty gross. I threw all the bedding on the floor (balled it up in the corner so it was evident I didn't want it) and covered myself with a towel - only to find the next day the maid picked up the bedding off the dusty floor and put it back on the bed... I could tell b/c of the stain. There was a dead bug in my shower too, which was a little off-putting. The breakfast in the morning is nice and basic; however, I got some cereal and added milk, and before I took a bite I noticed some white goopey stuff - not sure what it was, but I didn't eat any of it. While the hotel is under construction and one would expect dust, etc. both their elevators were coated in a layer of plaster and dust. They have "construction" elevator, but both are used for it - and they aren't cleaned frequently. I survived here two days, but I'd never go back. Læs mere

Nice location but with a new shower tub you would think there wouldnt be any mold. The beds are terrible. This hotel had a cheap price and u get what you pay for. And it isnt much. Great selection of food for breakfast to bad the hostess was blowing nose and never washed her hands.Eeewwww dont go cheap and pick this place. It just isnt worth it.

I needed an inexpensive room for a short say in Pittsburg. The room was small with one double bed, which was perfect for me. Bed was comfy, slept well. Only issues were one of the outlets didn't work so I had to plug a camera battery in the bathroom (no biggie) and the hair dryer did not work. When I told the front desk, they apologized and handed me […] a working one. The front desk peeps were very friendly and helpful with directions. I would recommend this place, at least for a solo traveler. It is convenient to downtown, Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburg, the cultural area and I'm sure to many places I don't even know about. Friendly and curtious service. The shuttle was very convenient and the driver was very helpful.. The breakfast was wonderful. Overall, best bang for your buck! Would definitley stay there again..

I usually stay at Holiday Inn Express on a business trip but decided to give this one a shot because of location and rating. It was just as good despite the on-going construction which was almost non-intrusive. Pluse a free happy hour!

If you are looking for a hotel with a restaurant this is not your kind of place. But if you are on a business trip or Like to cook for yourself you can opt for a kichennette room which is usually cheaper. also there are some local restaurants doing pizza delivery.there is an olive garden and giant eagle stores at walking distance. This was a great place to stay an incredible value. The hotel is under renovation but that did not affect my stay. The staff could not have been nicer. There was a free shuttle which picked me up at the airport and also returned me there. This hotel was dirty from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out. I was traveling and the company that registered me here had no idea how bad the hotel was. There was no one at the front desk when I left to even complain to. I had no hot water for the morning shower and my bed was a twin at the end of a very long hallway. For the price of the hotel it was not bad. The hotel is older and the walls were pretty thin as you could hear everything in other rooms and when people were leaving other rooms (opening and closing of doors). The staff was great though. They made up for the older rooms and the shuttle service was awesome !! The location to downtown was within minutes […] of everything and the cost was very affordable. When we were picking a hotel we were looking for something affordable, close to downtown and in a good area. I was pleased with everything there except for the overall condition of the hotel. Nice hotel. My wife & I in Pittsburg for a Steelers home game at Heinz field. In the past we have stayed in a hotel within walking distance from the hotel. The shuttle service from the Best Western did work-out just fine...

I booked a room with two double beds and a kitchenette. I only had a room with the two double beds. I paid extra to have the kitchenette due to the fact that we would be spending the evening in the room after a long day of Black Friday shopping.

Yes I would stay here again. It was pretty good. The staff are great and they run a minibus service to the city every hour. We've stayed in 6 hotels in the USA and this was the best run of all of them. The staff were great. really recommend this hotel

the hotel is an old mediocre hotel. from the start i knew that i was going to book the cheapest mid-level hotel i could find. I was worried after reading some of the reviews that the place would be too rough to tolerate. I found that hotel staff to be very nice, the bar gave two free drinks to my gf and i each night, the breakfast had a very large selection […] of food, and the location was really convenient (just outside the city). Just for one night is ok. If you plan to stay one night in a Ok airport kind of close to the airport, this hotel may be a choice. But if you want something better, forget it.

Carpeting in lobby area was a bit shabby. Room was not quiet due to poor noise abatement between rooms. Heard people talking and coughing like they were in my room. An older hotel.

This hotel was very old. Needs updating and cleaning in the common areas. Once inside the room, the hotel was OK. The room appeared to be clean, but was very outdated. Would think that for the cost of the room, the holtel could upgrade and clean the front entrance regularly. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The decor was just the slightest bit dated and some structural details (carpets, door frames, etc.) had a few signs of wear and tear, but overall the hotel was clearly well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. Pleasant stay and reasonable pricing.

My fiancé and I stayed here for homecoming. It was perfect for what we needed it for... A place to shower, sleep, and get ready. The room was a bit small, but it served its purpose. I was most pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel and the service. We had an existing reservation for this hotel and arrived somewhat late at night after traveling all day. When we went to check in, they attempted to put us in a smoking room when we specifically reserved non. the lobby, elevator, and hallways were filthy. The late night frontdesk staff seemed confused and disgruntled. We booked an economy room and […] it was uncomfortably small...especially the bed for two adults!
