will definitely stay there on my next visit

The rooms were clean, the staff was kind. I liked that they had a coin operated washer and dryer. They only had one set of them but they were big. I liked that the hotel was close to a many shopping centers and grocery stores. We got the room with a kitchenette, and a pull out sofa for our family of 6. We were all very comfortable. Extremely obliging staff and management. arranged early breakfast for the group of which I was part since we were starting work at 6am each morning.

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel or deluxe accommodations, this is not for you. But, if you just need a place to stay for cheap, than this is a good value and good location. Really nothing bad to say about it.

The hotel was very close to freeways, shopping and dining - it was perfect for our visit. The staff was very friendly and nice - especially the woman who was new on her grave shift. We arrived very early for check in - 12 hours early - and the the hotel was kind enough to have held a hotel room for us. VERY glad we called ahead, it was the last room […] for the night! The downstairs rooms have sliding doors which open up into the courtyard/pool area, very inviting! The pool itself is heated and well-maintained. The upstairs rooms have windows that (unfortunately) do not open, but still offer great views of the courtyard. The hotel was very quite during our stay, no traffic noise, no noise from other guests. When we opened the door to the room there was an awful odor. The hotel was full so we knew we couldn't get another room. We tried opening the windows and turning the air on. We left for dinner and when we return it was still smelly. I don't know the source of the smell. The room was clean, but do to the smell it made me uncomfortable. Second stay in this area. We liked this Hotel better, and the price was cheaper. Large comfortable, clean rooms. Quiet neighborhood. I will definitely be back.

I. am of two minds about this hotel. I loved the location was within minutes of a meeting I attended. Two it was located not near anything else. There was a liquor store across the street and that was it. Although the staff was friendly and efficient the room was in a corner of the motel that had wet floors and a washing machine that looked broken. Since […] there apparent eatery nearby I was left with only the Italian restaurant "room service" menu. This is sad since Westminster is suppose to be filled with excellent Asian eateries. So instead of light Vietnamese or Thai food I was left with gloppy heavy bad Italian food. Not good. Breakfast the next morning there were bagel (good) but no juice (bad). My room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly a efficient. The location was convenient for a meeting. The downside is eating options. I would recommend that the Best Western Westminster take advantage of it city’s fine Asian restaurants and add an Asian eatery delivery menu to its rooms. Læs mere

it was a fantastic stay. Our room was right outside the pool and for the most part all rooms surround the pool. its a quiet hotel. there is a major freeway and city street and you really never heard any noise. the room was clean and the restful stay was fantastic.the staff was very helpful and the breakfast wasnt bad either if we need a hotel in the […] area again definately will stay there again Læs mere

Great room, clean comfortable. The only complaint was the shower temperature setting varied and the breakfast was scetchy. All in all a good experience though.

I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room smelled like a smoker had lived there for years, passed away, and then someone sprayed deodorizer to cover up the smell. It was really strong smelling and made the stay unpleasant.

Nice courtyard and whirl pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff, reasonable price and close to freeway.

2nd time staying at this motel. That should say it all

water was dripping from the shower pretty hard with it turned off really hard. We couldn't get the A/C to work properly. Continental Breakfast area way to small for all guests but the staff was very friendly and courteous. Would like it if some survey answers could be maybe instead of yes or no. I typically stay at the extended stays down the street. When I found this motel at about the same price, I thought I would try it out. The comfort of the bed, breakfast in the morning, and upgraded TV definitely better than the extended stays motel. It would be nice if this best western had more parking but all in all a nice spot. Would stay again.

Room was clean and staff were helpful. Breakfast was ok. Not bad anyways for the low rates. Overall, nice place to stay.

Great deal if you want to visit Disneyland and Huntington and spend less on hotels. Nice pool, nice room. Even have ping-pong-table and outside BBQ place.

All OK for us

The hotel was close to Sunset and Huntington Beaches and was located near the freeway. The staff was friendly and there were a lot of options for continental breakfast. They also accomidated our baby with a play pen to sleep in. The lobby is small though so we had to eat breakfast in the room. Check in went smoothly; nice people. But the outdoor area and stairway leading up to our room was filthy. Trash, old door mats, and junk everywhere. When we opened out door Sunday morning, the maid's linen cart was blocking our door and stayed there until we checked out. Our room was clean but smelled musty. Inadequate supplies to make your own coffee. […] Breakfast included, but was limited and it was in the very small lobby; people climbing over each other and no place to sit. We would not go back or recommend to others. When I spoke to management about our concerns, she told me they would get to this side of the hotel today. The pizza boxes and other trash had been sitting outside of trash cans on the way to main staircase to access our room, since we arrived at least 18 hours prior. Læs mere

Great location: close to Disney, long beach and LA. Very helpful staff, especially the front desk people. The hotel is in acceptable condition. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are good. The carpets though are old and do not look clean. The breakfast is decent, but they need someone to be there all the time to clean up, fill up empty egg bowl, […] and assist guests. We were especially impressed with Jessica, who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Also, the grass, ping-pong table, BBQ, pool and jacuzzi were great. One day our room did not get cleaned, and the upper floor was noisy in our lower floor room, but, overall a wonderful stay. The hotel looks so so from the outside but the room is clean and equips with double queen beds, microwave oven, refrigirator. It looks decent from the inside.

The hotel is on a busy street but the rooms were remarkably quiet. Our room was comfortable, spacious enough for myself, spouse and our 2 boys aged 15 and 5. The room smelled clean, carpet was clean and the bathroom was clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had lots of pillows. We had a small fridge, microwave, iron and coffeemaker in room. Air […] conditioning worked like a charm. Ask for a downstairs room, if available, when you check in as they have sliding glass doors that lead to a cute, well kept garden and a private (not near a parking lot but secluded within the backyard) heated pool, spa, bar-b-que and ping-pong table. Pool and spa were clean and not overly chlorinated, my boys had so much fun swimming. The little backyard patio right outside our sliding glass door had two lawn chairs. The continental breakfast was perfect, with a nice array of items including waffle maker for fresh waffles. The breakfast starts at 5:30 am and ends at 9 am, perfect for us since we are early risers. I travel a lot, 75 nights or more a year. You know the places that are into cost cutting. The internet is the slowest DSL they can get away with, the bed was sagging badly (like getting into a boat). Breakfast was 5:30 to 9 AM on the weekends (when I asked why it wasn't later on weekends, I was told it would be too inconvenient for THEM to change the […] hours). The reality is the early hours saves them money. The smoke detector was giving the low battery squeak, so they wait for that to happen before changing batteries. It really is the classic case of saving a few bucks and losing many. I won't come back, the internet is virtually unusable, it was way too slow to SKYPE with my wife back home. The place could be great and some will be fine with it but for those of us that travel a lot, we know when you are trying to squeeze every dime of profit out of a place. The hotel condition was good and it would have been okay if it wasn't in a bad part of town. Other than that we liked it and it worked out.

Easy check in with different rooms being offered. Selected a down stairs room. The motel was "no vacancy" for the night of our arrival. The room was large, adequately furnished ie. king size bed, large dresser, micro wave, newer slim line TV with cable, refrigerator, coffee in room, etc. More than we had expected for the price. The breakfast choices […] were very adequate with waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, rolls, frozen items that could be taken to your room and microwaved. Certainly would not hesitate to stay again. It seemed that there were people who lived there full time and had parties on the weekend.

Hotel is near Little Sai-Gon, on the Westminster Blvd, next to I-405 Exit. Hotel room is clean and tidy, the only thing is the carpet need a wash. New flash screen TV with DVD Player in all rooms. Free hight speed Internet. The rooms on ground floor is connected to lovely back garden with your own seat area, and the pool for Children is heated, there […] is a bigger for "big kids" as well. Very nice stay. The owners clearly care about the place and have added some nice details. Bed was comfortable and everything works. Very close to the 405 too. Recommended.

Overall our stay was good, the hotel and rooms were clean and you didn't feel like you were in a bad neighborhood. Downfalls, the shower temp was always spiking to really, really hot. The Internet didn't work and it took a day to figure out that a switch on an opposite wall turned on the fridge.

No major complaints. Room was clean, shower had decent power. Pool and jaccuzi nice. Lots of places to eat in the area. Check in was abreeze and so was checkout TV was old and terrible

Nice and clean. Good value motel 10 minutes from the Ocean. Would stay again in a heartbeat if in the area again.
