Godt og rart hotel. Ingen særlig luksus og lidt afsides beliggenhed. Til gengæld pænt og rent, god service, samt gratis wi-fi på hotellet. Tog fra lufthavnen går lige til døren - bogstaveligt talt. Meget fine sporvognsforbindelser til centrum, men absolut også overkommelig gåafstand.

Små (rene) værelser og begrænset morgenmad, men opvejes af super beliggenhed og god service!

Hotellet er af ældre dato, men er i fin stand med hyggelige mere moderne værelser. Værelserne er ikke de største, men der er hvad man har brug for. Personalet er rigtig søde og vil gerne hjælpe med både det ene og det andet. Hotellet ligger super centralt med sporvognen kørende lige ude på vejen (Dette kan høres når de bimler og bamler med klokken, men ikke noget der der irriterer, mere som en hyggelig lyd à la "nu kommer sporvognen igen".) Hotellet ligger super centralt, lige ved Union Square. I området ligger der mange små caféer, dinere, butikker osv og 300 meter nede af gaden ligger der en metro station (en Bart) hvor man kan tage toget til yderområderne. På samme sted er der et hav af busser som kører alle steder hen i byen. To af SF´s tre sporvogne har også endestation lige nede af gaden. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt hotel. Vi var i SF et par dage inden vi rejste videre syd på. Hotellet var helt ideelt. Både pga at det var hyggeligt, med i høj grad også pga beliggenheden. Det var nemt at komme ud at spise, nemt at komme i butikker og shoppe og nemt at komme til både tog, busser og sporvogn. Helt klart et hotel vi vil anbefale og et vi gerne ville bo på igen hvis vi skulle tilbage til SF.

SFO er praktisk beliggende 19 kilometer syd for San Francisco. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) forbinder San Francisco International Airport med "The City", eller Byen, som de lokale ofte kalder San Francisco. Lufthavnen ligger praktisk for virksomheder mod nord og beboelses- og forretningskvartererne mod syd. Nogle af de førende bioteknologiske firmaer og Silicon Valley-virksomheder ligger få minutter fra lufthavnen.

Vi brugte hotellet til en enkel overnatning for derefter til at flyve hjem. Hotellet ligger dejlig tæt på lufthavnen, gode værelser, god betjening/service samt en rigtig god restaurant. Et minus at det ligger tæt på togskinner/station med dertil lidt larm, når togene passerede (første tog kl. 4 om morgen)

the park and fly option is great. up to 14 days free parking if you stay the night before you fly. great shuttle service to and from airport. very clean refurbished rooms. nice lounge and cafe. free wifi and continental breakfast. great place to stay.
"Strictly for those catching flights"
Very little sleep due to train horns and truck engines, and a few late-night or early morning planes. I can't imagine anyone staying here for a weekend or longer. One-night visits only.
"Nice quaint hotel"
Overall, I was pleased with my stay. the one thing I would like to point out is that there was a 3 lamp fixture above the vanity in the bathroom with 2 of lamps burned out. Other than that, everything else was just fine.
"Comfortable bed"
We just needed a room to sleep close to the airport and this was it. I saw a roach in the bathroom but everything else looked clean. The decor was prette outdated.
"Great place to stay overnight."
The staff were friendly and helpful. We walked for about 20 minutes to the train station and caught the Bart into San Francisco for a few hours before we had to leave to catch our flight. The shuttle bus was 5 minutes early for pick up, which was great. We thought it was well worth the money.
"Fine for an airport stay"
We stayed one night and I booked just because of the free airport shuttle. The shuttle was very convenient and the room was OK. It was a little shady because it looked like the locks had been changed multiple times and there was a big sign on the inside of the door, "Be sure to deadbolt your room". I don't know anything about the neighborhood but seeing […] that did not make me feel safe. I was very glad we were only there for about 12 hours, I would not use this hotel for longer than that. The room was quite small but clean . We had to call twice to fix the sink that woulld not drain and the toilet backed up.The shower hot water handle had a loud sweak and we could also hear that from other rooms. I would not pay more than $100.00 per night. The complmentary breakfast was wonderful and very popular.

"Dated but Comfortable"
Rooms need updating but service excellent, breakfast is good, and the airport shuttle perfect. If quiet is required, make sure you get a room away from the tracks. We were in the 300 block and could hear the trains but they were muted and did not bother us.
"Just what we need for one night"
Fast shuttle to and from airport was essential for us. As were nearby supermarkets and good sweater buys at Kohls because we were cold. There were no gardens or lounges for relaxing. The room was small but an extra small chair would have been welcome even so. Trains and room neighbors were a bit noisy.Overall it was a handy stopover sleep en route.

"Good stay"
This was a great place for what we needed, and it was nice to have a place to put our car. Breakfast was decent enough and the room was quiet.

"Stay-Park-Fly at SFO"
I use this hotel and car parking service whenever I fly from SFO and will be gone for a couple of days. I don't have to fight the Bay Area traffic getting to the airport and I know my vehicle will be well taken care of. Also, the hotel has a very good restaraunt.
"Pre-flight stay"
Storing our car and shuttle service to SFO led us to this hotel. However, proximity to the railroad meant a night of no sleep, lots of noise and general dissatisfaction. Find another place!

"Best Western Plus El Rancho InnMillbrae -PERFECT!"
The best beds we've ever slept in. New decor, incredible duvet covers and luxurious sheets, beautiful. Great restaurant. Whole thing looks brand new. Wait staff was super helpful and went out of their way. Shuttle and car-park was very efficient door-to-door. Worked like clockwork. HIGHLY recommend.
"Best Western El Rancho SFO--Good Shuttle service"
Good shuttle service to the airport but that is the hotel's only plus. Noisy. Wi-Fi didn't work. One waitress at the bar couldn't keep up with customers. Front desk sent us to restaurant 2-3 blocks away (it was 10, in the rain). Small rooms; stairs that you must drag luggage up.

"Greatly Disappointed in Quality & Condition"
This hotel was definitely not the quality, condition, and comfort that was outlined in the description of the hotel and rooms. The property was very outdated, run down with a need for renovation. The room had a wall/window air conditioning unit that was loud, had an odor and had a wall thermostat control panel that did not work. The bed was average […] comfort, but the bathroom was so small it was very tight for two people. There was constant noise from the parking lot and breezeway. The room was med quality or less. "Comfortable Bed, Huge Complex"
I arrived in San Francisco for a one-night stopover on the way home to Victoria, BC. I was quite ill and eager to get to my room and was dismayed to learn that my room was the equivalent of about four city blocks from the lobby where I was checking in! It was raining and I had a lot of luggage so I actually asked for assistance to get my bags to my […] room. Fortunately, I ended up getting a van ride over to my room. I was grateful - but I am pretty sure if I hadn't begged for assistance I would have been on my own. Fortunately - once I got into the room - it was lovely, the bed extremely cozy with really nice linens. I had a good sleep - then headed out in the rain back the four city blocks for a great free, continental breakfast. Good shuttle service too and from airport. "Best Western Plus El Rancho and Suites"
We have stayed at this hotel in the past with good experiences so this last one was really disappointing..It was convenient for us to leave our car and travel to the airport. This time, however, has given us pause. We booked through Hotel.com which may have not been a benefit to us because the room we got was far inferior to what we have had in the […] past. It was very small with a queen bed- we paid for a queen wanting a King. . The sound was so bad through the walls that we could hear the guest next door urinating in the toilet!! We were awaken many times in the night with such noises including the train that went by every hour. It was clean but I do not think that made up for the other negatives on the first night of our long awaited vacation. Dinner at the restaurant was not good. Service was good but every time we have eaten there, we have regretted it due to the food not being good. I won't insist to my husband we do it again. Yes, we cook and know the difference. When our plane arrived home we waited for the shuttle a long time. No shuttle so I called they said it would be another 15 minutes. 45 minutes later the bus arrived...I learned later others waiting had been there 45 minutes before us!!! We had seen every other hotel shuttle come and go at least twice maybe three times before ours arrived! The final straw was that when we got shuttled to our parked car on their lot the battery was dead in the car. Newer car, newer battery! After a long time waiting for the office to answer my call (which had been my recent usual experience) they said they would send someone over. He came right over and said " what did you do, leave your lights on?!" I said ": No, YOU All must have because you all moved my car hear and it was fine when we dropped it off!" It started right up with a jump charge. But really get with it! This is a "fly and park" arrangement , they should make sure the lights or what ever is turned off when they park the car! "Nice with thin walls"
I don't usually write these texts because most often I am very happy with my stay. But this time sadly not. The location for sleep and fly is great, and yes the trains are going on all night. But that was fine. What wasn't fine was the rice paper thin walls. A couple could stand outside our door and discuss in normal tone and it would sound as they […] were in the room. And since most people only stayed one night then leave early in the morning it caused a lot of sounds and early wake ups. Sleeping in was never and option. Second, the heater. I work in movie business and had my hands on a sound measurement tool, therefore I could get an exact measurement. And the difference in sound inbetween on and off was 20 decibel. The comparison is a quiet room and a normal traffic intersection. I am great at sleeping heavy, so I could deal with it while sleeping. But when watching TV I would have to turn it off to even be close to hear anything. Læs mere

I really have nothing bad to say about the El Rancho. It is a great place to stay - not far from SFO or San Francisco and even San Jose. It even has a great restaurant on the premises. The rooms are nice - not too big, but clean and comfortable, especially the bed! I have tried other places on the San Francisco Peninsula, but always come back here. "Best Western--Very convenient to airport and SF"
Best shuttle service--pick you up at your room. Nice to have early morning coffee and snacks available (starting at 4:30 AM). Everything was very clean. Easy trip into San Francisco, also.
"Very Unfortunate Experience"
Unfortunately, I had very bad experience at this hotel. The front desk personnel were very unfriendly and although I booked a room by the pool, at the last minute they sent me to a very remote room. I was very happy to check out of that place.

This is a great place to stay and park your car going and coming from SFO. We have used the facilities many times and highly recommend it as being close to the airport with transportation to and from all flights.

My wife and I will use the park n fly option, again. Great deal. Attractive room and features (pool & spa). Lobby was decorated for the holidays, and a cozy place to wait for any reason.
