Older facility, but good pool area. Complimentary breakfast only with muffins and toast. Would stay here again if in the area and needed somewhere to spend a night.

Fint ophold, men morgenmaden var det mest kedelige vi har oplevet på vores 2 måneder lange rejse og 2 månder på hotel.... de skulle måske slet ikke tilbyde morgenmad, så ville det ikke trække ned i karakter. Dejlige og rummelige værelser.

Dejligt sted - også som børnefamilie. Værelser med terasseudgang til pool og spaområde. Restaurant lige om hjørnet, sjov souvenierbutik, indkøbsmuligherer og kun 10 min kørsel fra Solvang. God oplevelse. Kunne godt have blevet længere end en enkelt nat. Virkeligt et godt sted at slappe af.

Fint til en hurtig overnatning. Ligger godt i forhold til motorvej og kun 7 km fra Solvang. Morgenmad som i USA. Fine værelser med store senge.

The hotel was very nice. We had a little patio outside the room. Nice pool, and enjoyed having breakfast in the garden gazebo.

Godt motel, 10 min fra Solvang. Vi var så ikke tilfredse med morgenmaden. Da der er køleskab, kan det betale sig at købe selv, eller køre til Solvang, og spise den der. Plastic og pap, åbenbart meget amerikansk. Grunden til at vi ikke var tilfredse med morgenmaden var, at vi danskere ikke lever af muffins, winerbrød og toastbrød, og kun syltetøj og […] smør til brødet. Læs mere

This is a great no frills hotel. The staff is very friendly. The free wireless service worked well towards the reception area but not in the back of the hotel. The clerk that checked us in was outstanding in her personality and helpfulness. I don't understand why the hotel is only rated 2 stars, it should be a minimum of 3 stars. The only negative thing was the smell of the room when we first came in however was able to take care of that opening the window.

We were pleasantly surprised at just how nice this hotel really is. Expecting just a place to stay, we had a very large room, found it remarkably clean including clean carpets and even wiped down patio furniture outside the sliding doors next to the pool. Shower had a soap dispenser on the wall. The continental breakfast was very nice in the central […] Gazebo at the pool with a person making sure everything was filled and tables cleaned. We've stayed there each time we've been to the wine country of Los Olivos, and we'll definitely stay there again. The bed was so comfy that I didn't want to get up.

The walls are pretty thin...we could hear talking in the next room. And the ceiling is too thin...we were on the first floor and could hear every step on the floor above us.

We were given a corner room after I had written that we have small children, which was wonderful. We did not notice any noise problems at all, but it may be because the hotel wasn't full. The room was quite comfortable, the hot tub and pool were great, and our children even enoyed swing the golf clubs at the putting green. You pay for location with this motel. The rooms are dated and small with old carpet, furniture and amenities. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The placement of the swimming pool and putting green in the center of the courtyard is poorly thought out. The rooms that face toward the courtyard hear all the noise. Furthermore, the walls are very […] thin, so even when it is relatively quiet, you can hear every noise from neighboring rooms and outside. The breakfast is pathetic, just muffins and bread. This motel is close to Solvang, our destination, and is the cheapest place to stay in the area. There are several other older motels near Pea Soup Anderson's, and they're all about the same vintage. The service folk were all very friendly, and we were checked in quickly. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The 3 stars out of 5 are for the […] fact that the walls are paper thin. Literally. We had the joy of listening to the conversation of the people below us (thankfully it was only conversation). I don't have any better recommendations (we've stayed in a few of these local motels) unless you want to pay significantly more to stay in Solvang proper. I'm just setting your expectations. I stayed here on a holiday weekend and needed a basic place to spend the night. Absolutely no issues with check in/check out. The room was clean and more spacious than I was expecting, and the pea soup the restaurant is famous for did not disappoint. Good water pressure in the shower. Impressed with the hotels location and charm. Although it is an older property with thin walls, it was very clean both inside and around the property. Access to the restaurants in the immediate area was fantastic and easy to navigate to our final destination. I would recommend this location to all visiting the local area.

We always stay at Pea Soup Andersen's Inn when we have business in the area. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a great restaurant with that famous Split Pea Soup (also discovered they have a killer hamburger!!)
