Godt hotel god betjening nær på highway. Godt nærmilijø. fredeligt og hyggeligt poolområde. Gode altaner dog kunne det være ønskeligt med bord og stole der.Godt hotel til prisen.

The only issue was the knobs in the bathtub....it was extremely difficult to turn the water on and off as the knows were loose and falling off.

We only stayed here as an overnighter on our way from the SF Bay Area to Orange County. Pluses: Huge Room, desk, microwave, refrigerator, internet connection all working well. Nice neighborhood with lots of malls, stores, etc. Minuses: the staff was kind of cool, though it was really late. We get there and didn't expect a glamorous room for the price but we did want a room that we could relax. There were 2 adults and 3 kids age 17 6 and 5 months. We were driving home from vacation and stopping half way. So I go check in and the the girl at the front desk was not the nicest but I moved on. We go to our room and in the bathroom was gross […] there was towels that had yellow and brown stains on it and and the bath tub looked like it had never been clean. It was a black color on the non slip stripes, it was so nasty. We wanted to leave but got there too late and it was raining really bad and didn't want to take the baby out. So we start to go to get in to bed and there is no fitted sheets on the bed. They just had two flat sheets and all night we were getting up to fix the sheet because we were scared to sleep just on the mattress. It was also so loud, it wax trains and fire trucks and cars and everything u hear. I would spend the extra money on a better place. Læs mere

Days Inn in Bakersfield was very unpleasant for the one night I had in Bakersfield. The room smelled like it was dirty. The toilet was stopped up and there was street activity in and around this location. I will never stay there again.

Its a value for the money. Good place for overnight. Surrounding neighborhood is not great though. I like the breakfast.

Awful scary place to stay, room was dingy and the thought of having a security gaurd patroling the parking lot gave little assurance. Traveling from southern Oregon to Wisconsin and i had my entire lively hood in my vehicle, i have stayed many place before and this is the worst place i have ever stayed!!! We booked our room online, a room w/2 qn beds...when we checked in, they tried to put us in 1 qn bed. I told the girl that wouldn't work, so she got miffed and told me that they were sold out. I told her that I had a reservation for 2 qn beds and thats what I wanted, or a king. She found a room w/ 2 qns and dent us on our way. When we got to the room, […] the air conditioner didn't work. My husband called down so they sent a maintenance man, Andres, who was the one bright spot of our stay. He tried to repair the a/c but it needed to be replaced. He called down and told the front desk, and they wanted him to bring a fan to our room. I said that we wanted a new room and she again tried to put us in a room with 1 qn bed. I said NO, and she finally found a king room for us. Andres carried our luggage to the new room which was very large and comfy...why couldn't she have just put us there in the first place??? We have not had very good experiences with Days Inn in the past and will not stay nthere again. Læs mere

I worked as a General Foreman for 18 years with one of the largest and most respected Mechanical Contractors in Orange County.I oversaw the Mechanical Ductwork installation on the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills a 5 star hotel.Did 4 other chain hotels over the years.I am quite familiar with Hote,Motel construction.They have a problem with the window […] AC units that are presently installed in these Days Inn motel units.They have probably at some time retrofitted these existing units to a newer style unit.The problem being these newer units have a top vertical discharge,whereas they should have purchased front horizontal discharge units.Problem being when you turn on AC unit,it discharges conditioned air vertically up into the curtain pocket which blows the curtain into a balloon trapping the air.This is fine if you are trying to cool the curtains,but does little to help the sweltering room temperature.Each unit needs a discharge direction diverter installed to direct the air into the room in a 45 degree direction away from the curtains.This should have been done along time ago A.They are wasting and incredible amount of energy as the units cannot bring down the room temperature for hours instead of minutes....get the picture.I ended up wedging and ironing board and table lamp to hold the curtains back away from the AC discharge.There were many other problems that I will not bother to go into.I past this bit of information onto the desk manager for whatever it was worth.Stay at the Best Western much better place about the same price. This place is a dump, and the surrounding area looks to be unsafe. I didn't feel safe, and certainly wouldn't park a nice car in the parking lot.

right off 99, some traffic noise but I wear earplugs so I didn't hear it. Repainted, clean room, good B-fast with waffles.

A nice welcome at reception even though they could not find my details on the system they quickly found my reservation and allocated a room. The room was large and had everything you would need. It was clean (apart from the iron). Bed was comfortable, gardens were well kept with a nice swimming pool. Reserved a room with roll in shower, accessibility features. Room assigned no roll in shower; not accessible for wheelchair user. Obviously this hotel is does not understand the needs of disabled people.

if your looking for a place just for the night I would go somewhere else. For the price the A/c wsa very dirty and inefficient also the room sensor would turn it off if you left .You needed the a/c on all the time just to TRY and keep up with the 100 degree day.Also the plug on the a/c cord was burnt so it didnt seem worthy to be using But the ice was […] cold! This is a very clean hotel, the only thing that they need improvement on is to leave the fridge plugged in and the A\C turned on. It took until2 am for the room to cool down

The Days Inn at Bakersfield, CA was a pleasant surprise because the room was large, great and comfortable. It was located near a number of restaurants and fast food places. We have stayed at other places in Bakersfield and the Days Inn was by-far the best.

I din't stay in the hotel becouse it din't have microven refrigerator din't work, blankets dirties, the room smell bad. I ask for diferent room but, they din't geve me another one.so I left to diferent hotel.

This hotel says they offer WIFI in the rooms, but this is false, it is only in the lobby and you have to pay for a cable for in the room. I booked a single king bed and got a queen. The shower wouldn't work properly and the tub just filled up...I will be looking for a different hotel the next time I am in the area!!

I was dubious to say the least about this budget hotel, then found it to be a secret oasis perfect for our needs! I hope this doesn't make them raise their prices, but after an inauspicious walk along the hallway's tired carpet, we opened the door to a decent room, which opened onto a great (and empty) pool and jacuzzi. It was close to the interstate we needed to be on, and hotel was easily found. Great dining nearby. The breakfast was continental no extras. The room has some updates, but the carpet needed to be replaced. The beds were soft, but had plenty of pillows and I slept better than I thought. I would not tell anyone to saty here.. Their were stains on carpet on the mattresses.. I was so afraid of bed bugs! I thought these places had to change mattresses every yr.?? Gross is all I can say! the water in tub was kind of orange - rusty pipes.. after running the water for a while it cleared up... nice big room.... very friendly staff

The hotel was average and fit our needs for the price. The lounge (martini's) on the south side of hotel was rather busy with activity for the lounge. Especially on Fri/Sat night. Hotel connects to the Regency Bowling Alley (40 lanes) and the Martini night club.The grounds could have been maintained better. The room was large and looked like it was […] recently updated. The Mini Frig and Micro oven was good the tv was old and some channels were fuzzy. But we were there to help our CSUB student work on his place close to hotel. So the location was good for us. I had to switch rooms, because my room was leaking, and the floor was soaked, then the room I got had a motion detecting light sensor, that could not be turned off, the light would come on every time I changed positions. The television was going out, none of the stations were clear, and the shower and had 2 settings, extremely hot, and extremely cold. […] I stayed 2 nights, and made a compliant the first night, nothing changed, staff was absolutely no help. Altough the property is older and a tad stuffy it was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was hearty and the breakfast staff was very considerate and prompt. In most places that serve breakfast, the staff starts cleaning up and not refill the breakfast bar on the dot of when the breakfast is supposed to end, not here.
