Hotellet lå meget centralt for de ting, vi gerne ville se i Athen, det var nemt at gå rundt til seværdighederne. Ligeledes var det rart, at der var så kort afstand til lufthavnsbussen. Morgenmaden var en positiv overraskelse.

Godt trestjernet hotel, det rigtige sted i byen, med den service, som man burde kunne forvente. Der kommer vi gerne igen.

God beliggenhed i centrum.Morgenbuffet OK.

Hotellet ligger lige i centrum af Athen, og der er gåafstand til alle relevante severdigheder samt masser af restauranter og barer. Vi brugte kun bus/metro/taxa i vores 6 dage i byen til og fra lufthavnen samt til det olympiske stadion. Området er også meget trygt at gå i om aftenen/natten. Hotellet er et meget fint middelklasse hotel. Søde og hjælpsomme […] personale (undtagen 1 person, men sådan kan der jo være undtagelser). Værelserne var rene og pæne med de faciliteter, man har brug for. Vi havde et lidt lille badeværelse på det ene af værelserne, men det værelset var også klemt lidt underligt ind i et hjørne af bygningen, og det andet værelse var fint i størrelse. This hotel had good location and was well appointed. Had good TV, refrigerator, safe in room and was very modern. Buffet breakfast was very good.

excellent location, very polite staff, very clean

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated in the centre of Athens. The room was comfortable with mini bar, hairdryer, etc. The only improvement could be that the breakfast food be kept hot. The price for our stay was affordable. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice, clean rooms. Really central location, nevertheless, a quiet one .... Nice, smiling staff. Breakfast is fresh and good.

A great hotel with a great deal through this site. The room was quite large, the beds (2 singles) were comfortable and there was even a minifridge. The staff were friendly and helpful with regard to sightseeing. The only problem would be the bathroom door. The room was relatively large(esp. the bathroom) and there were quite many places to put on or in sth so I was satisfied on the first day BUT there were two bad things I couldn't stand(even now). 1st, I booked for double bedroom but they offered single twin bedroom.(It's acceptable.) 2nd, I met three staffs in front of the roby there and two of them […] were okay but one of them(I don't know HER name but SHE has curly and blond-browned kind of long hair)was very rude, unkind so I was strongly unpleasant about her bad survice. And even, one of the staffs of the dining room asked to me, "What's your room number?" without reason so I was offened. In those reasons, I never recommad this hotel. Læs mere

Thanks to a perfect location, our staying at the Amazon hotel was enjoyfull. The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean, the zone is quiet, and yet - 2 second from shopping street, cafe's ,and the Syntagma square. Next time I'll go Athens I'll probably book the same hotel. Danni, Tel Aviv

Nice and clean hotel right next to the Syntagma square. Very good location. Breakfast ok. I can recommend.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants, shopping, metro and the Acropolis. Our hotel room had a view of the Acropolis. At night there are spotlights on it and the view from our room was magnificent!

+rooms clean and modern +good location +nice staff -single glass in the windows = bad soundproofing -breakfast could be better

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel - very convenient location, and staff very helpful. Staff very concerned for our security, safety and welfare during political demonstrations in nearby Syntagma Square.

this hotel was in perfect location to walk to the plaka.The reception people were very hepful. The room for three people was more than we have come to expect in europe for the price. Also the bathroom was large and quite clean. we definately would recommend this hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not fancy, but solid and clean hotel in a great location in short walking distance to the Parliment and the Acropolis.

The hetel was good. The only problem was that the room was small for me my wife and kid.

Small hotel very close to Syntagma Square and the Plaka. Excellent service from the desk who printed off our boarding passes for a flight the next day, arranged a boxed breakfast for us to take to the airport. Room was not large but adequate and clean as was the bathroom

The rooms though small, were clean and neat and everything was well placed. Staff were very helpful and you couldnt ask for a better location! Most of sites and restaurants were within walking distance. Would definitely go back! Jessy

Modern hotel in the heart of Athens near most attractions;Friendly staff and good breakfast.

I would definitely go back to this hotel which is very conveniently situated about 3 minutes from Syntagma Square, the subway, and the buses to the airport. I'm a big guy and had no worries about walking around at 2-3AM, however, not sure if a female(s) would feel the same way..... it was pretty quiet and deserted. Very clean and what seemed to be very […] newly renovated hotel. Only bad side for me was that instead of a double or queen bed they had to singles pushed together and as I rolled towards the middle (unknowingly), I almost split the beds and fell down the middle. Hotel was clean and easily accessible. Between Parliment and the Plaka area so super convenient to the tourist shops and attractions. Hotel staff was somewhat helpful but certainly didn't go out of their way to be helpful. Morning breakfast was good and helped saved a little money. Right off Syntagma square and just 2 blocks from the #5 airport bus drop off and pick up, walking distance to national gardens and block and a half from on/off bus. Get the red bus because you get 20% off tours through tour company located right by syntagma square stop. Excellent location for all ancient sites. Very clean - bathroom a bit small.

This hotel was adequate for a stay near the sights in Athens. Close to the Acropolis, transportation to/from airport and ferries, shopping, etc. Breakfast was decent. Rooms aren't the comfiest, but are ok for the price.

The location was great, cleanliness and staff was perfect. The only and just only problem was that the rooms are extremely tiny! There was no space in the shower.

The hotel could not be at a better location. With direct connection to the airport by bus or train. It is very clean, which is the most importand thing for me. Overall it is the perfect hotel to stay if you want to be in the centre of Athens. Only two comments: Coffee not very nice at breakfast and a very small bathroom. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, but occasionally I could smell smoke. Most of the staff were attentive and courteous. The breakfast was good and abundant. Close to the Acropolis and other attractions.

Amazon is located centrally near Syntagma square and is walking distance to the main tourists spots in Athens. very good staff and the morning free breakfast is really good! Will go back to stay again for the convenience and comfort provided.

Lovely hotel, excellent location. The roof top gadren with the view of the Acropolis was spectacular -great to enjoy the sunset and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was also very lovely.

Hotel really well positioned for everything I wanted. the staff were very helpful and welcoming. My room was very comfortable, clean and I got a good nights sleep. I will happily stay here again when en route.

This hotel is little small.. but cleanly maintained. During our stay I got an opportunity to see and experiece world's smallest rest room and lift :) Location is fantastic, its very close to syntagma square which is in walkable distance from all sites. The best part in this hotel is: One day we went out for our regular outing but, we forgot the passports and lots of money on the bed. Realised that after few hours and came back to hotel.. the room was cleaned but, that bag..untouched :) I would suggest this hotel to others who looks for a best prices hotel but not very luxurious and in a location close to all sites.. The hotel is located in Plaka area. It serve a very good breakfast. The hotel is in a very safe area, next to the Sytagma Square. You can walk to the hotel from the square within 5 mins. Before September 2009, the Metro at airport is closed due to the construction. You can reach the Sytagma square by taking express bus #95 with 3.2 Euro. You can walk […] through the Plaka before you reach the Acropolis. The hotel room is very small. The space for taking shower is very small, and I can barely turn around. The Amazon is ideally located the Plaka and very close the shopping area, Syntagma Square (buses and trains to the airport) and is in within easy walking distance of the Parthenon, Lycabetus Hill, Psiri etc. The bedroom we had was clean, comfortable and quiet with a modernised bathroom with enclosed shower and pleasant decor. Breakfast was more than […] adequate and served in a bright, cheery room witth a constant flow of coffee, fresh fruit etc. Yes, the lifts are small (2 or 3 people) but nothing to cause any inconvenience. The Reception are is also small but the staff we met were courteous and professional. On the basis of what we experienced, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a two/three night stop and we will definitely go back when we return to Athens. Læs mere

A cinq minutes de la Place Syntagma, cet hôtel confortable et propre permet d'accéder rapidement aux transports et aux principaux sites d'Athènes. Le personnel est courtois et disponible, les chambres sont bien équipées, le petit déjeuner buffet est très correct. Bon rapport qualité/prix. J'y ai passé un excellent séjour
