Good place to stumble back to after going downtown

If you're looking for affordable convenience, with pleasant service - this is the place to stay. Staff was very accomodating. No need for "fluff", but they have all the ammenatities and basic "stuff" :}

The room had a strong musty smell that reflected that it had not been aired out in a long time. I found the odor very uncomfortable. The bathroom ceiling was badly stained and the entire room appeared not to have had adequate maintenance in some time. I checked out early due to the conditions of the room. Everything was clean and comfortable. Hotel was easy to find, Needed to be near Ithaca, but drive was not bad.

The room was used by smokers and not cleaned before I reside in. The smoker smell was too strong.

hotel was great. rooms clean. we were not bothered by rules. the people were human. great location. easy access to stores library and schools. highly recommended.

This was one of the lowest cost hotels in the area, and the reason is very apparent. The room was musty, one of the lights did not work, and one of the others was a fire hazard, with the socket loose and hanging off the lamp. Even with all the lights on, the room was very dark. The walls were quite distressed, with holes and what appeared to be a knife […] slash. The beds were not very attractive, with only a bottom sheet covering the mattress, not even a mattress pad. There were red stains on the side of the mattress (fortunately appeared to be kool aid or some other juice). The location was not a very nice one, and did not make us feel very comfortable. Needless to say, we will choose a different hotel if we visit this area again. Læs mere

It is never a good sign when there are bare wires sticking out of the walls, a plunger next to the toilet and a toilet that wobbles when you sit on it! The room appeared visually “clean” at first glance, but had a musty smell. Blankets looked like they were from the 50’s and had a very dirty appearance.

Only good thing about this place is you can stumble back from the bars

i made a 30 sec phone call on room phone, they charged my $5.25...it wasn't long distance either.

Check-in was very fast. Lady at the front desk was very nice. Room was clean, carpet looked new. Bathroom was clean and did not smell musty. The room itself smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. There was no information in the room on how to login to the Internet, we had to call the front desk to find out how. Not […] a big issue, just annoying. At night there was a lot of partying going on around our room. Slamming doors, people yelling, cars peeling out of the parking lot. (I don't really blame this on the hotel, but it did make for a restless night.) The next morning I went to the lobby for breakfast. Toasted some bread, when it came out of the toaster I noticed a large section of mold on the toast. I threw the toast away, when the lady at the desk asked me why I told her about the mold. Her response was, "Oh, that's OK just get some more." Um, no thanks, I think I lost my appetite, and where did the other bread come from, the same loaf!!! Next time I visit Corltand I will be staying somewhere else! Læs mere

The room itself was OK, but definitely not worth price. They should cut the price by at least half and then maybe it would be sort of worth it. The management was ridiculous and did not seem to speak or understand English, and they tried to charge me twice for the room. Although they swore that they never charged my credit card the second time, it is […] interesting that my bank statement says otherwise. A totally frustrating experience all around. And to top it off, they management kept staring oddly at us all evening, as if we were suspicious characters or something (which I can assure you, we are not). Læs mere

The non smoking room smelled like stale smoke. Made for a difficult night's sleep. If we hadn't checked in so late, I would have asked for another room!

The service at this hotel was unacceptable as was the commitment to its guests. When we booked the hotel we requested a first floor non-smoking. We arrived late and the room we "thought" was guaranteed was given away and we were given 2nd floor and had obviously housed a smoker. When we complained,we were told they could not control whether someone […] had smoked, and that first floor was first come, first serve. The room itself was fair, although the bathroom floor needed to be mopped and the paint was peeling off of the wall. There was supposed to be wireless internet, but it did not work. Unless you have no other choice, I would NOT stay in this hotel. Læs mere
