Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center - Overland Park

Hotel is nice but service needs improvement. Didn't answer phones, staff was a little too casual, room didn't get cleaned as of 4:30 on Saturday but waking you up on Sunday. It's expensive and there is no water pressure

The front desk couldn't check a single one of my 9 guests in without issues. I received a call for everyone one of them. I had a cc on file to pay all charges for the 5 rooms, yet they charged 6 other cards for the stays in addition to mine. How embarrassing in front of my staff. NEVER AGAIN.

It was a very nice hotel. We paid extra for the private floors and club lounge. It was worth the money! Our room could have been a bit more comfy but was nice. The room service was timely and very good and reasonable. We live local and was getting away from the snow! The staff was VERY nice and helpful!

This hotel is always buzzing...!!! the open atmosphere lends itself to a great experience which i enjoyed. Even though the snow was piled 10Ft high outside !!! once you enter the place, you feel as though you've been taken to some far away resort. We were booked into the wrong room. We were charged for a club level stay with breakfast buffet. however, we were booked in the wrong room. Were told that their accounting office would contact me on Monday. No contact yet.

The staff was super friendly. The room we stayed in was a double queen on 10th floor. The room was clean although small, carpet could be cleaner. Hotel seemed full but we never had to wait very long for the elevator. The staff accommodated our every need and helped with picking out many restaurants. I will be back.

We were attending the convention center and even though we live in town we stayed at the Sheraton,. We come here on occasion as our little Staycation and are never disappointed. The only place to stay in Overland Park

We have stayed at the Overland Park Sheraton a dozen times or so over the last few years. After a Thanksgiving dinner and football game at a family party we checked in (for three nights) sometime after 10:00 PM. We asked if our view was to the north or south, but did not get much of a response from the desk staff. Bags were delivered to the room and […] I met my son at the hotel bar for a nightcap (great service from the bartender!). Didn't open the blinds unti the next morning, but when I did we had an excellent view of a concrete wall and some maintenance equipment. * So much for the nice view requested. My wife spoke the front desk and they moved us to the ninth floor with an apology. Maybe the night staff at the front desk was having a bad day? Læs mere

This hotel was by far one if the best places we stayed for the money. Clean, comfortable and very friendly. We spent alittle more and got the breakfast buffet and free wifi and parking. It's worth the upgrade. Breakfast was great. We look forward to staying there again.

Easy check in and out. Very clean. Beds smelled like bleach, sheets stiff and uncomfortable. Had 2 queens, and suppose to be a king. Beds just very hard . Very pet friendly.

Hotel was very nice, updated. Convenient to shopping at Town Center shopping, Interstate access and fairly close to OakPark mall. The bed was comfortable with the exception of some extremely long pillows on our king mattress - kind of odd, but fine. Our "Club" level room included breakfast and evening appetizers which was a nice side benefit. Wi-Fi […] was kind of clunky to set up and was supposed to be free since we were on the "Club" level. We ended up getting charged for it and had to go through quite a process to get the charge refunded. Oh - definitely know that the walls are SUPER THIN. We enjoyed our evening escape at the Sheraton Overland Park. I've stayed at this hotel several times before and each time the accomadations were perfect. The hotel is large enough to have many more services and activities the smaller hotels don't.

the only reason we selected this hotel was for the patio & the firepits. We were so looking forward to doing nothing but sitting & relaxing by the firepits... to our disliking they only have the firepits open in the summe... which makes no sense... who wants a fire when it's 100+ degrees outside??? the website doesn't disclose that these features are […] only avail in the summer... so very disapointed in that fact... but overall hotels.com took care of me so I can't complain... From check in .... to our room .... to room service, it was a very pleasant experience. Front desk was friendly, room (club level) was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the room service was timely and delicious.

The woman who checked me in and got me settled was a bit odd and at times intrusive about my personal reasons for staying there. Although the service was great for the rest of the night, had a very nice gentlemen bring my wine glasses right away.

Upon check in, we were expecting a room with a king bed which is what I thought I had selected when booking on line. However the hotel showed it was a double queen. They said no king bed rooms were available. Overall the room was clean and the beds very comfortable. However there was a used washcloth left hanging at the top of the shower curtain in […] the bathroom, the clock radio had no time on it, and the TV would not come on. Engineering did come to fix the TV while we were out of the room the next morning. However that next night the cable reception for watching the baseball game was so bad, we gave up and turned it off. Since this is a convention hotel, an inroom charge for wireless internet seems out of order. We never ended up using it but it was on the bill. Læs mere

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. We splurged for the "club level" room to make sure our stay was as good as possible. To our dismay, the bed was hard as a rock! My husband joked that he felt like he'd slept on the floor. I feel like this is a deal-breaker when paying a premium for hotel accommodations.

Well i requested a king bed, got 2 queens, carpet going into the bathroom is frayed and missing, strings laying in doorway, shower curtain had 3 hooks NOT hooked, i had to bend them and put curtain back up, Room is VERY NOISEY, could hear tennant next doors conversation at midnight :( NOT good, door slamming in hall was HORRIBLY LOUD , like NO BUMMERs […] and EXTREMELY LOUD, when guests next door came in my bed wall would actually wiggle my pillow, UNREAL its the most i have ever spent on a room and was HORRIBLE sleeping arrangements. will probably NEVER stay at a Sheraton again. The hotel was clean and convenient. with only one elevator from the parking level, there were some longer waits to get to the lobby, where you then had to take a separate elevator to get to your room. The rooms had very thin walls and it was difficult to get my children asleep even after 10pm due to excessive hallway noise. Bedding was also very noisy. The pool was not very clean and it was OVERLY chlorinated!!

This hotel was amazing! It was beautiful, comfortable, classy, super clean, and accommodating. The club level was great and my family was truly impressed. The staff was fabulous, the food was awesome and the drinks were reasonably priced. We stayed 3 nights and I did not want to leave. I now have a new hotel that I will search for when I am traveling […] with my family. We had a family reunion and every one of them greeted us at that hotel and partied with us there as well.
