If you don't mind being woken up many times throughout the early morning by a cleaning lady, stay at this hotel. If you don't mind staying an older, more run down part of town, stay at this hotel. If you don't mind being locked out of your room many times because of key problems, stay at this hotel. If you don't mind missing a refrigerator, microwave, […] or ironing board, stay at this hotel. However, besides these problems, the hotel was decent enough. I really didn't have much higher hopes than what it turned out to be. It could've been much worse, and for the price it works. "What a dump!"
People yelling in the parking lot till 2AM, carpet felt sticky, the light switches were so dirty we didn't want to touch them, my wife used her elbow. We didn't even want to take a shower in the place, the sink did not drain properly and there was old flem in the sink from the last guest. maybe? Got there and they said they didn't have my reservation […] and had to pay a second time, still working on the refund. I've stayed in better places for less than half of what I paid for this dump. I don't normally write reviews, but I think people should be warned! I have stayed in places that had some bad reviews and never had problems and alway feel that the negatives are people that are hard to please, I'm not, but I wasn't! Læs mere

"Worst stay ever had in Hot Springs"
Even thought the hotel is centrally located it is in a bad neighborhood and has lots of traffic. it is very old beds are extremely hard and pillows very flat when i asked for additional towels or pillows they acted like it was horrible inconvenience. But worst thing was the maids started knocking on the door and trying to get in with their keys at 7:30 […] each morning. We told them we were staying for 3 days and not to knock on our door that early of course we were not even awake. they came back every 20-30 minutes and by 10am they had a very rude man come and bang on the door screaming at us that the cleaning ladies are about to go home and have to clean the room NOW. My Fiance told them we were not ready to leave for our appt yet and we had prepaid for the room but we went straight to the office and checked out and told them would never be back. They acted like this both days we were their and we had went in and paid for a 3rd day but then that rude man came around again so we got our money back on that day...HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Læs mere
This is not a fancy hotel but was clean and friendly!! We went down for the weekend for the horse races. We had a great time and would stay at this hotel again!

The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was very nice. The hotel was in a great location for my trip to Hot Springs. It was in the middle of everything. You guys did a great job. Next time I have to travel to Hot Springs I'll book with you again. Thank you, Diana
This hotel was in a good location to all the stuff that we wanted to do. It is a older hotel and that was just find with us. We were on the run most of the time so we just slept there that is about it. We will stay there again if we go, but then we like to change things up and stay at other places to.
This was the worst hotel of my trip. Very disappointed
"Hot Springs AR"
The hotel was located centeral to everywhere we were going. It is an old hotel but was clean. The pool was big. We only had three towels in the room with four people. Couldn't get our wireless internet to work. If you are looking for a place to sleep and not spend much time at the hotel this works.

"horrible"
this was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at in my life. the lady at the front desk her customer service was beyond horrible and the room had bugs. NEVER again will i stay there. NEVER!!!!!!
"In Hot Springs for Downtown Conference"
I used a king sized, non-smoking room while in town on business. Some non-smoking rooms that I have been to in the past (in other hotels) smelled like they had been smoked in. I was pleased to find that this room truly WAS non-smoking! I read the reviews beforehand, so I brought one of my king-sized sheets from home and my own pillow. For just me, I […] didn't really need the extra pillow, but I was glad that I brought my sheet. The bed was clean and made, but the sheet on the bed was not a fitted sheet, and that seemed odd to me. And (even though the amenities didn't list this) the room also came with a mini-fridge and microwave! I didn't make use of the pool or the restaurant; my conferencing lasted a while and then I already had other ideas for where I wanted to eat. :) This hotel felt just outside the "walking" part of the bathhouse/historic shopping area, while still being about half-way between the bathhouses and the racetrack. On the corner of Central and Grand, there are also fast-food places nearby on Grand, lots of everything on Central, and an indoor mini-golf and go-cart place within walking distance. Læs mere

Convenient location we were in the middle of everything saved on gas. The hotel was a great deal for the price would stay here again. And restaurant inside hotel was really good and if u show your hotel key your get 10%off your meal. All about saving money!

This was my first time booking thru' Hotels.com. It was the worst place I have ever stayed.

The pool was disgusting. The tiles were not cleaned and I could write my name in the scum on the tiles in the pool. Also, they at first gave us the wrong key, and then told us to go in the wrong door. The third time I came to the office, they finally had a maintenance person let us in. "The Travelodge in Hot Springs, Ark."
My overall stay was not good at all. My room wasnt ready when i got there after 8 hrs of driving. They sais come back in an hour or so. I did that and it still wasnt ready, so they put me in another room. It didnt have a microwave or a fridge and all the tv channels were fuzzy. I brought this to the attention of the hotel and their reply was the hotel […] is old and some rooms have more stuff than others and some rooms have better tv reception than others. The room was really clean. The second night, there were mony quest coming in late slamming doors, running down the corridor and not going to sleep. I had to call down to the office and ask someone to come and make them stop. It did quieten down after approx 30 minutes. When I firswt arrived the person behind the counter was not very nice.

The room had a musty smell and we needed to use a air freshener to use the room. The cable tv quailty was low. The curtians appeared to be moth eaten and let light in.

We stayed two nights, the first night we got two double suites and one king suite all with doors making it able for us to flow through the rooms to connect with the others staying with us. The place was quite as a mouse with only the fridge not working as efficiently as it should. (took 12 hours to cool off sodas on high). The 2nd night however we only […] kept the king suite because our guest left and the people who checked into the room were very loud into the wee hours of 6am... no sleep left for a terrible drive home. Our stay was fine, the rooms were clean but Our tv was broken in our room! We thought It was closer to Bath House Row but we did Walk from our room all the way to the Arlington Hotel for breakfast! The price Was good though!

we could not get on the internet because we were out of range of the router. the room was very very hot. and it took forever to cool it off. we had to buy a fan so we would be comfortable at night. the only good thing was the pool. our son was happy about the pool.

Staff was friendly. The room was clean, but the beds and pillows need to be updated. The mattress did not allow for a good nights rest. The pool could have used a daily skim to remove the leaves and bugs from the night before, but overall the water was clean. The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing. Great prices and great food!

Accommodations were "passable" considering the price. But the hotel location was bad, a mile from the city center in a run-down area. There were no evening eating facilities other than a few fast-food joints within comfortable walking distance.

I did not know the Hot Springs, AR is the biker sport. This property is located at the major intersection and naturally bike and other traffic noise wake me up several time after 11pm. the overall rates of the hotel we reasonable, the over all condition of hotel is outdated and needs a makeover, the shower didn't work well at all.... would not stay again do to the over all condition of hotel, pictures on hotel.com do not show the whole picture.... there are better hotels down the road....

After returning from a long day the very first thing was that bathroom door was locked ,when someone from reception opened it we were unable to lock that again.Surprisingly there was no cold water in the shower it was hot hot hot water.bees in the room,there was no refrigerator although already requested but we were asked to pay $10 per night extra […] for that.I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. "Great roon for the money"
The exterior of the can stand a little improvement, but the service and friendliness of the staff makes up for that. It is centrally located. Close to everything. I loved and I will definitly consider them again.

At check in, we were given a room that was still occupied. The alternative room smelled like it was a smoking room when I specifically asked for a non-smoking one. We just dealt with it by buying Febreze and air freshener since we have no more energy to move yet again. The pillows were so thin and there were only 3 on a king-size bed. The bathtub was […] grimy on the outside and you can see it right away so I wonder why housekeepers don't see it. The bed is so stiff as well. The nice thing about the room was that we had our own kitchen and fridge by the bar which we didn't really need anyway. The free internet is as good as none. The signal was so low (just one bar) and it takes forever to pull up a webpage. We have to go to the main office just to get a good signal and yet the person at the desk insisted that we are near the hub and that he didn't hear any complaints from other users. Læs mere
"Excellent hotel - don't judge outside looks"
The location was great and close walking to many things. The staff was very friendly and nice as well as very helpful. The outside was old and run down and we were scared but it suprised us as the room itself was very clean and cozy. We had a great a/c and plenty of hot water. "Good Location"
Hotel location is very good. Within walking distance of the historic district. People at desk where very pleasant. Older motel could use some undating, but had everyting we needed as we spent most of our time on touring the area.

We arrived a day early and the person at the desk could not put us in the room we had for the next day so he put us next door so the transfer would be easier. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was renovated. There was no breakfast provided by the hotel but that is a fantastic restaurant in the front. Hester's has a breakfast buffet for $5.99 7 […] days a week and lunch for $7.99 M-Sat and $8.99 on Sunday. They are open 6 am - 3 pm and is a must to try. Læs mere
