Et lille kælderværelse knap plads til en dobbelt seng. 2 voksne kunne ikke gå rundt samtidigt.... Badeværelse bedst beskrevet som størrelsen på en telefonboks, ved toilet besøg skulle man sidde på skrå på grund af håndvasks placering. Vi sov der og der var rent.. andet positivt kan der ikke siges.

middelmådigt hotel, men 4 stjerner er i overkanten, da vi har boet på en del hoteller efterhånden, også 4 stjernet, vil dette hotel efter vores bedømmelse max kunne trække 3 stjerner, altså, et middel 3 stjernet hotel. morgenmad var også i den lave ende hvad kvalitet og mængde angår. Hotellet er af sædvanlig god BW-standard, som man sjældent går fejl af - og til en fornuftig pris! Venligt og serviceminded personale. Ligger tæt ved Victoria Station og gå-afstand til Buckingham Palace, Parlementet og The Eye. Vi boede på 4. sal med flot udsigt til det hele. Fin busforbindelse fra Stanstet til Victoria.

bekvem afstand til Victoria Station. Fint og rent værelse + bad (småt, hvis man er en stor mand, men for os mor+datter fungerede det fint). God og rigelig morgenmad med frisk frugt.

Rigtig hyggeligt hotel med dejligt, serviceminded personale. Centralt beliggende. Lidt kedelige enkeltværelser, men OK med pæne badeværelser.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room was quite small, but not too small. It was good enough for the two of us. The room’s facilities were good – hairdryer, possibilities to make tea and coffee in the room and a small closet to put our luggage so it didn’t take up floor space. The bed was quite big and very soft. It was nicely made every […] day and every night we came home to a clean room with fresh air. The staff was friendly and said hello and goodbye every time we came back or left the hotel. They were very helpful one evening when we wanted to order room service. They hadn’t got what we wanted but helped us order it from another place. Very nice! The breakfast was better than expected. There were waiters who served coffee, tea and bread. Jam and butter was already there. At a table at the end of the room there was a small buffet with cheese, ham, fresh fruit, a selection of cereal and juice. It was enough for a good start in the morning. The location of the hotel is really good. It is 4 minutes from an underground called Pimlico and 10 minutes walk from Victoria where a train goes directly to and from the airport. Meget fin beliggenhed og rigtig go' til prisen - meget hjælpsom personale i receptionen

Man skulle nærmest bakke ind på toilettet, og ellers var det meget småt og generelt under middel.

Ikke noget prangende hotel, så er det sagt. Værelserne er små (max. 14 kvm), men den hygiejniske standard er ok, og badeværelserne er pæne og rene (forvent ikke koldt vand i hanerne!), og der skiftes håndklæder/redes seng dagligt. Gadelarmen fra Belgrave Road er ret påtrængende og hører først op sent på aftenen, så hvis det er varmt (+22-24 grader […] c.) og man gerne vil køles af, hvad gør man så? Tænder for air condition? Ja, hvis ikke lige det var fordi den åbenbart var blevet lukket ned centralt. I stedet var værelserne blevet udstyret med elektriske blæsere, men de kunne ikke udrette stort. Morgenmaden er heller ikke noget at skrive hjem om: den sædvanlige continental breakfast, men uden sjæl - bortset fra morgenkaffen, den er god! Det rum i kælderen, hvor der serveres morgenmad, har plads til ca. 30 gæster - på et hotel med 51 værelser og altså plads til ca. 100 gæster pr. nat! Og en del af det personale der serverer morgenmad må konsekvent få det forkerte ben ud af sengen hver morgen - ubehøvlet er nok det rette ord. Læs mere

Location of hotel is good, close to train station. breakfast was very good. the only problem with the hotel was that rooms were very small, tv was tiny, and the floor was squeaky...

This hotel is in a good location for seeing the sites in Westminster and for access to the Victoria train and bus satations. However the rooms are quite small so if you have more than one piece of luggage you will be falling over the second piece a lot. Overpriced youth hostel. Loud, dirty, and small.

Ideally located, small, clean and friendly hotel. The traffic noise is omnipresent due to it's location, but for one or two nights it is bearable.

Very small room, no Wifi in the rooms, the bathroom sink was difficult to use (very small). This is largely a 2 star hotel. Unless you are a tourist on a very tight budged better to avoid.

I stay around Victoria a lot and thought I would try the Corona. It's about 5 minutes from Victoria Station, easy to find, and not a bad location. Typically as with the smaller ex-townhouse hotels the room was fairly small and cramped. I was next to the lift as well although couldn't hear it that much. There's no bar or food but the front desk hand […] out pizza delivery flyers from the local restaurant. Food is all within a 2 minute walk though and convenient. It's good enough for the money for sure but not the level of comfort or service you would get from a hundred pound a night hotel outside London. Læs mere

Would stay again, get a all day or multi-day transport pass, good on tube or bus. Pimlico Tube 5 minutes or catch bus 24, across the street, goes by Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Big Ben, Downing St and in to Trafalgar Sq. Good Breakfast

Broken shower and broken heating so they had supplied a standalone heater which itself was a health and safety hazard as it was broken as well. Steer well clear. I did. I could not even bare to stay so checked out after an hour.

The hotel is located in the City (District) of Westminster in close proximity to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and other famous sights. It's only a 5 minute walk to the Plimico Tube Station, and Victoria Station is only about 4 blocks away. If you're flying into and out of Gatwick, you can catch the Gatwick Express train from Victoria Station; […] its a non-stop 30 minute train ride to Gatwick and will save you a ton of money over taking a taxi or some other form of transportation. The cost of a ticket is around 17 pounds. The train runs every 15 minutes. There are also some great places to eat within two blocks of the hotel. One of the best Italian restaurants I've experienced is within a half block of the hotel. If you love Italian food I would highly suggest visiting the "Solo Mio" Italian restaurant located on the corner. I've eaten at many Italian restaurants all over the world, and this one is right up there at the top. The only negative comments I would offer regarding the hotel was the size of my single room; it was very small. The sink in the bathroom was also the smallest I've ever seen. However, the water pressure in the shower was great and there was always plenty of hot water. My room was located on the front of the hotel and the noise from the street along with other guests doors slamming at all hours of the night was annoying. Læs mere

Good location - plenty of restaurants, etc. close by, easy walk to Pimlico Underground or #24 bus just up the road all the way to the West End in 20 mins. Also, easy access from Heathrow via Piccadily line and change at Green Park (where there is an elevator) to Pimlico. I had a single room, and it was small - like most London hotels for the price. They say that room service is available at certain hours only but that there will be sandwiches, etc. at all hours. I ordered room service within their limited hours but they had no food at all from their menu and that all they had were the sandwiches. I took the sandwiches but would have truly appreciated a hot meal, assumingly ordered within their […] own limitations. Internet was free, yes, but you had to get a user ID and password for every device that you have (i.e. a cell phone and a laptop) everyday! What is wrong with logging on once for the duration of your stay and keeping the same user ID and password? The breakfast was quite adequate but perhaps adding a few boiled eggs to the menu won't break anybody's bank? Læs mere

This hotel is in a great location and very convenient to the Tube via either Pilmico (right around the corner) or Victoria (a little under a mile). It's in a very nice neighborhood that seemed very safe. I don't feel it's a 4 star hotel though. My room had a funny odor and the bed was absolutely the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. I had to […] take one of the pillows and put it underneath my back so I would have at least some padding. The single room I had reserved was very small, but that is to be expected in this part of London and I could live with the size. The room can get a bit cold at night. A space heater was provided, but I didn't mess with plugging it in. I wasn't looking for a luxury resort, just a convenient place to rest my head, but in order to recommend the hotel to others, I would say they need to invest in more comfortable beds and work on enhancing the room comfort a bit (work on the mildew odor, adjust the central heat, etc.). I stayed at this hotel for two nights in April 2011. I had a pleasant experience at this hotel as the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is close to Pimlico station, and also somewhat close to Victoria station. Reasonably clean though room was a bit small. Good rates. Best westren Corona has better location if you want to see centeral London Staff was courtious and helpfull but itself hotel condination was not very good, room was very small and bed mattress was broken and spider nets are all over the celling and walls. Bed sheets were not cleand.

Spent three nights at the Corona - the staff seem largely disinterested, didn't have breakfast so I can't comment there. Worst night's sleep I ever had - creaky floorboards upstairs and someone who liked to run laps of their bedroom meant I didn't get any sleep at all. On top of that, the room was stiflingly hot, even without the heating on the window […] thrown open! Throwing open the window also exposes you to a lot of street noise, making sleep impossible. On the positive side, the hotel is 5 mins walk from Pimlico tube station and many local shops and bars. The room also had Sky Sports, which was an unexpected bonus. Hotel wi-fi was unreliable and when I tried to reconnect, said I was already logged in! Not a 4 star hotel and not one of the better Best Western hotels. Læs mere

Having stayed in a spacious room before arriving in London, I felt like a sardine. Not much room at all. The only space large enough to open my suitcase was blocking the door. After traveling 2 weeks thru Scotland and England we were ready for the "city" experience. The BW Corona helped us enjoy that experience ~ location was superb for public transportation and also returning to Heathrow, being only blocks from Victoria Station. Very safe area, clean comfortable room altho small; we expected that tho with the rate we paid, […] which was awesome for a London hotel of this quality. Clean lobby and friendly front desk staff. The only slight complaint we would have was partially our fault, because we forgot to ask for a room facing the back when we checked in, so the street side was quite loud. A nice little hotel near the tube line and minutes from the sites. Very good breakfast to start the day and a nice comfortable room. this was a good choice and value for the dollar. We would recommend this to others.

The hotel was expertly run, with friendly staff and excellent facilities. The breakfast area was clean, and well managed and a selection of cold meat/cheese, fruit and cereals were provided along with fresh toast and jams/marmalades (I stayed on a Friday night/Saturday morning). The room had a trouser press, small TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also provided iron and ironing board loans and various other amenities as well as room service. I had a single room, and while it was very small it was clean and comfortable. It was within easy walking distance to either Victoria or Pimlico stations, and a Tesco and restaurants were nearby. I felt comfortable walking back to it at night as there were other people, some tourists as well as local residents, out walking as well. The staff knew very little information and only a couple seemed fluent in English which is funny because its England. The room was very small but adequate. My fiance and I had to maneuver a few things to get our luggage in spots out of our way. TV was super tiny. No air conditioning! They have a tiny fan in the room which served its purpose but the […] room could get hot easily, especially if somebody showered and opened the bathroom door. It was cheap and served its purpose and I did feel safe there. Close to the Pimlico station of the London Underground made it easy to get around the city. Rooms: simple not 4 star standard, I found somebody hair in my bathroom. I had room in the ground floor, but no lock / protection on my windows. Breakfast: not worth what it costed at all, very simple breakfast, definetely not 4 star standard. Ho hot food. Ordered a room for one so got what I asked for although the confirmation did say it was a twin. Tiniest room I have ever stayed in. Other than the five hangers supplied there was no where to store other bits. Room was very hot. Fan was supplied, but still had to open windows. Street is busy with buses/coaches from early doors. No shelves to store toiletries […] in the shower room. Towels barely covered anything. Only just went around my 32" waist! Tiny sink in the shower room that only supplied warm - scolding hot water. Cold water in a jug could be rung for or you could purchase mineral water from reception (expensive naturally. Try and buy in nearby shop). Placed 'do not disturb' sign on door on the sunday morning. Was distubed by a phone call from reception at midday asking if I wanted my room cleaned and if everything was alright! It was handy for Vauxhall and for town. Very nice hotel. Room a bit small but adequate. In room internet. 15 minute walk to Victoria Station, 5 minutes to Pimlico subway stop. Very clean. I would stay here again. No smoking in hotel. Solid walls between rooms to minimize noise.

This hotel, like so many others in the area, is the product of merging together 18th century terraced houses. What this means is that the rooms are all sorts of sizes and in all sorts of corners. The room I stayed in was on the "lower ground" floor meaning the basement and must have been a store room when the house was built originally. I was apprehensive […] at first, but it turned out to be one of the best night's sleep in a hotel I've had in quite some time. All of the basement rooms are to the rear of the building so you don't hear any street noise even though they have a window letting in enough daylight. They are also encased in thich masonary so I didn't hear a sound from other rooms. Breakfast was served in a couple of rooms to the front of the basement and was the usual array of bread, cereals, fruit and toast with friendly, attentive staff on hand. this hotel appeared to have broken airconditioning during the hottest period of the summer.Also, no cold water in the room-message in the info pack suggests getting a jug of 'tap water' from reception!
