Dejligt sted at være i centrum af Barcelona :) Gåafstand til det hele, og ellers metro og bus lige om hjørnet. Dejlig roligt hotel, selvom lige i centrum.

Fantastisk godt hotel med god beliggenhed lige ved den gamle bydel. Skøn tagterrasse og super service. Nemt at komme til de fleste steder i byen fra dette hotel. Det eneste lille men var at værelset var meget mørkt og indelukket. Dog med en lille altan ud til en af de små gader.

We were welcomed already at the reception desk by an excellent service and care for our needs. A special warm thanks to the staff there with Ivan in front. :-) The quality of the hotel was 4 *'s + and the view from the roof terrasse was fantastic, even from the swimming pool.

Fint hotel med en god beliggenhed. Tæt på La Rambla og indre by. Skøn udsigt fra tagterrassen. Minus er størrelsen på deres "pool" på tagterrassen, som minder om et forvokset badekar. Meget hjælpsom conscierge. Skøn beliggenhed mellem by og hav ikke mindst tagterassen. Et sted hvor man føler sig tryg når man rejser alene

Et hotel med super service og atmosfære. Beliggenheden kunne ikke være bedre - centralt og stadig roligt. At hotellet så har en stor tagterasse med fantastisk udsigt ud over Barcelonas havn og byens tage er endnu et kæmpe plus ved dette hotel.

Hyggeligt gammelt hotel centralt beliggende ift. shopping og havn og stadig i overkommelig gåafstand langs stranden til den olympiske havn. Spis morgenmaden et andet sted - den var dobbelt pris ift. cafeerne i byen og ikke bedre. Baren på taget var fantastisk hyggelig og med udsigt over havnen. Fantastisk service i receptionen. Der var en computer som hotellets gæster kunne benytte på 1. sal. Værelse (standard) havde et smalt vindue til en baggård. Mørke farver på væggene. Mini fjernsyn. Terrassen på toppen af hotellet med udsigt over vandet var fremragende. Lille pool men mere behøver man ikke. Servering fra bar hele dagen, men OK at ligge […] med sin egen flaske vand. Masser af drinks på menu-kortet, men lidt svært at forklare at gin og tonic med cucumber, manglede en cucumber. Måske en detalje, men når prisen er høj, bør indholdet være som beskrevet. Barpersonalets engelsk var ikke helt i top. Der var også en restaurant på taget og maden så dejlig ud. Prøvede den ikke selv. Læs mere

REally enjoyed the hotel, we only had one night there, but the room, bathroom, roof terrace and location were superb. Plenty of restaurants in the back streets nearby or great for the waterfront. Roof terrace sandwiches overpriced and small, but its lovely up there.

Hotel is well located and small enough to be a quiet haven from the excitement of Barcelona. Spacious and welcoming room. Very good facilities. A bit noisy from bar patrons closeby when they left a nearby venue hence late at night hence the slightly less than perfect scores. Reception staff excellent. The hotel staff were excellent. They were helpful, but not overbearing the way some staff are in higher end hotels. The staff at the reception desk communicated well in English for those guests who are not Spanish speakers. The hotel location is right across from the port. Our room overlooked the port which is also right above the fairly busy Passeig […] de Colom. Although we were right above (5th floor) this main street, it was not loud at all. The photo on the website depicts the Terrace bar perfectly. It was a great place to have a cocktail either during the day or at night. Behind the hotel is the old Barri Gotic district and across Colom is the port area. So, it's a great mix of environments where you can get breakfast at a port-side cafe and then lunch/cocktails/dinner at one (or more) of the small bar/restaurants in the Barri Gotic district. Also, only a couple of blocks (walking distance) to the La Rambla tourist area and the Metro. Overall, just a perfect place to stay in Barcelona. Læs mere

Right overlooking the harbour, very pretty views. Easy to get around, close to Las Ramblas and sightseeing bus routes. Beautifully clean hotel and very welcoming staff.

Stayed in this Hotel in late Sept 2012 and it was great. Had recently stayed in another hotel in Barcelona that was not nearly as nice. 5 stars all the way around.

I've just returned from four nights with my ten year old daughter. Location of hotel was great - a ten minute walk to the bottom of La Rambla, and really near the Port Vell, where we tended to eat out in the evenings. Room was fine and very clean, if a little on the dark side as it overlooked a fairly gloomy courtyard. However, for the deal we got I […] wasn't expecting sea views, and in fact we spent very little time in the room during the day. Friendly and helpful staff and great location. Rooms were very comfortable. Terrace was relaxing with great view but disappointed it was not available for 2 nights out of the 3 nights of our stay.

Fab location near the port. However on check in which took 30 minutes we were told we could not use the roof top terrace/bar as there was a wedding. If we had known this when we booked - 2 weeks prior to arrival we would have changed hotel as I was looking forward to the view etc. It was rather irritating when the guy on reception told me all guests […] had been informed by email re the terrace. I know I hadn't received an email so please don't lie to me. Our room was small & had no window - just a door that lead out to a gloomy small internal yard on the 1st floor. If you opened the net curtain you were overlooked by the communal areas. This we were stuck with a small gloomy room with no natural light. The noise from the wedding party went on until the early hours. Not good. Next time I will book a hotel with a bar I can use & check the window situation better. Very disappointing. Læs mere

Very nice hotel with large bathroom..ours had 2 showers. A/c worked very good. Hotel is across the street from the bay, but is about 2-3 blocks from Ramblas. Walking down the small alleys seemed very safe and is much cooler than the main streets.

A very comfortable, friendly hotel. Amazingly well sound proofed so a room on the road/sea side was completely quiet at night. The hotel is smart and attractive from the road, and very conveniently located, in easy walking distance of the main attractions, but away from the busiest late night haunts. Checking in was efficient and friendly, and all the receptionists spoke good English. The room was well presented, with good views from the balcony over the harbour. With the windows […] shut, there was no appreciable traffic noise except for the odd siren, and we were not disturbed by noise from other guests. The bed was very clean and comfortable, there was adequate storage, the safe and TV worked well, there were plenty of sockets for charging phones etc. Wifi was free and fast. The bathroom was clean and roomy. We reported that the basin pop-up waste tended to leak and they were pleased to be advised. Only two criticisms, the shower was not thermostatic and there was no non-slip bath mat. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice from the buffet, and very helpful waitresses. Læs mere

Very polite, helpful staff, all spoke English, small room with view of atrium, but very quiet, front of hotel could be noisy, strange drains smell in our room, rectified by staff, but it returned the next day! hotel about 10 minutes walk from Las Ramblas, big road in front, good value.

We were very impressed the moment we walked into the lobby. Most of the staff spoke english and were very helpful with directions to the local sites of intrest. It was a bit of a walk from the metro station but very easy to find. We had a room on the harbor side and the window had a secondary window that controled the noise from the street below. Rip off... Wont choose it again.. very expensive, and rooms are very small given what we paid. No closet space in room.. We had booked a room for 3 people, and they put in an extra bed leaving almost no space to even move.

Hotel is very clean and very convenient. Literally a two minute walk to the base of Las Ramblas, and a manned ticket location for the Hop-on-Hop-off. We would definitely stay at this location again when in Barcelona. The only complaint was the late niters at the sports bar next door were a litte noisy, but nothing terribly bothersome in the room.

I really splurged for a night at this hotel for my sister and I because of all the glowing reviews. I didn't expect a large room in a city hotel, but ours was tiny. And being on the interior court of the builiding, it was also very, very dark. Given that we had to get up early in the morning to return to the US, we thought we'd be fine with that expecting […] a quiet night away from the street. Unfortunately the music from the bar on the roof-top terrace echoed down the interior shaft of the building until 3 or so in the morning (our wake-up call was for 5:30) There was also heavy bass coming from a disco or a party in the building next door, so no sleep was to be had. Great location at harbor and edge of Gothic quarter. Super-comfortable and quiet room and the roof-deck/pool/restaurant was a fabulous respite from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona in August.
