Craighaar Hotel - Aberdeen (og omegn)

Det bedste ved hotellet er at den ligger tæt på lufthavnen. Service var ok, men værelser var ikke noget at skrive hjem om. Maden i restauranten var ligeså.

Liked this place, particularly the helpfulness of the hotel staff. They accommodated our need to print a some documents we needed, even though they don't have an official business office. A couple of small inconveniences: no elevator so you have to schlep your bags up a flight of stairs. A bit of a pain if your bags are heavy. Its location is a little […] tricky to find if you're unfamiliar with the area. With a good map or a smartphone map app, it's doable however. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We asked for a drive to the train station for the morning, and they were more than willing to do so for us. The hotel's senior bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable of his scotch...made for a great environment to watch the soccer game while having a few drinks.

I was booked in one of the suites. Very nice, comfortable. I found the food good in the restaurant. Close to airport. Reasonable price. No elevator - heads up if you have heavy baggage.

The receptionist that I dealt with on a few occassions was extremely helpful and helped to make my stay run smoothly. My room was very modern and had recently been revamped.

First impression was the hotel was located in a less than inviting housing estate. But the place its self was what a great little hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Naff experience. I paid £125 for one night in this hotel which included breakfast. the room and the rest of the hotel was definately in need of refurbishment. although the bathroom was nice. I literally could not sleep for the cold - there was no extra bed linen in the wardrobe or anywhere else, it was dire. breakfast was not good either, congealed […] fry up - really bad haggis and blackpudding! A comfortable stay at the Craighaar. The room was well equipped with a desk, separate table and TV plus DVD player. The en suite was well appointed. All was very clean. Staff were friendly and the restaurant served a selection of good food for both lunch and dinner. It snowed whilst I was there and staff (partially) cleared the car park to make things […] safer. The only negative was WiFi, which was available for a charge. However, if you are a BT Broadband user one can get free BT WiFi in the room from a local hotspot. Also mobile phone coverage (EE) in the restaurant was non-existent (maybe a good thing!). Very little aircraft noise in the hotel. I was most satisfied with my stay and expect to stay there again. This is situated at the end of the runway. Very noisy during the day, although I had a full nights sleep and didn't hear a thing. Apart from that great hotel.

Good location for airport although a fair amount of aircraft noise in the morning. Money has been spent upgrading rooms and bathrooms, however, there are common areas and furniture which are very tired.

Very well kept inside and out,staff always helpful and cheerful food excellent enjoyed our stay very much. The only down point is the noise from planes and helicopters but most people use it as a transit hotel.for the airport.

Booked through Expedia and got an excellent deal on room type. Bedroom comprised of 2 levels with seating area, tv, bathroom etc on lower floor and upstairs was bed and also tv. Flat rate wireless charge of £5.00 (my pet hate even when low it should be free as there is no cost to hotel) Restaurant was excellent for service and food. The room was spotless and breakfast was of good quality with plenty of choice. My bed was uncomfortable and very creaky so I didn't get a good nights sleep. A bit expensive for the room that I had but I think there is a refurbishment programme on going and other rooms are of a higher standard.

Had two very pleastant nights here. Room was very clean, bathroom very modern, and made a nice change from the regular hotel chains. Great haggis in the restaurant too!

We stayed in the Craighaar Hotel on New Year's Eve. The staff was very accommodating. We had an early international flight on New Year's Day. Even though the buffet brunch was not supposed to start until after our departure, the Night Porter and head chef cooked us a full Scottish breakfast. This was greatly appreciated since we had a very long flight […] and a 19 hour day. The only criticism was the candlelight dinner on New Year's Eve. The meal was very good, but the candle was a tea light which really did not meet our expectation. It was my mother’s birthday treat, so this aspect was little disappointing. The hotel location suits me well enough, not far from the airport and with reasonable access to our office, and not too far from thdowntown, although this won't suit everyone. You WILL need either taxis (which very quickly become expensive) or a rental car. If you are going to go out and do any drinking, then you'll need taxis. Generally, the hotel […] is quiet, and in a quiet neighborhood. If you are looking for nightlife in the immediate vicinity, look elsewhere. The staff are friendly, the bar comfortable, the food is surprisingly good, and the staff make a serious effort to provide good service. Recently, the rooms have been renovated with very showers, and hopefully they will also change the beds and pillows, which desparately need to be taken outside and shot at the first possible opportunity. The wiireless access needs work too - when connected the speed is good, but the signal seems to drop out periodically necessitating logging in again. Overall, I like the hotel & will probably stay there again. There are others in town that are better but also at much higher prices. Læs mere

Ble møtt av servic venlig betjening, hjalp oss med bestilling av drosje og tips om hvilke butikker i nærheten som hadde det vi var på jakt etter. Rent og pent bad. Hotellet ligger nære flyplassen noe som passet oss bra som skulle videre dagen etter. 広くは無いが快適なホテル。部屋のセンスも良かったし、レセプションの方も優しい方でした。 冷蔵庫とバスタブは付いてませんでした。 朝ごはんもあっさりしてるけど、私には丁度いい感じでした。空港までタクシーで8ポンド程でした。

super hotel confortable restaurant propre et les repas super bon le seul hick c'était dit sur l'hotel que le personnel était multilingue alors que ce n'est pas vrai (mais ils ont tous fait pour se faire comprendre).sinon c'était magnifique je le conseille au personne qui savent parler anglais
