The Hotel was perfect for our stay. It was right in the center of the city, and you could walk everywhere. There was a fridge in the room for water or other things. The only negative thing about our stay, was that we had to wait in line for breakfast two days in a row. So in the end we decided to have it elsewhere. Not ok when it is included in your […] stay. Vi have booket til fem personer, skulle vi aligevel spørge dem fem gange om at få sengetøj til den femte. Havde forventet bedre engelskkundskaber i reciptionen.

Der var ingen ' minibar' i værelse, bare en vandekande og to kopper i køleskabet. Vi fandt to kakerlakker i vores første værelse. En af dem var ved at klatre op i min seng mens vi sov. Sikkert en dårlig overraskelse ( selvom vi fik en anden værelse fra reception). Vi havde ingen showergel i badværelse, men en almindelig sæbe som jeg ikke synes er […] rigtig hygienisk. Hotel Stanford er et typisk turisthotel med en super beliggenhed. Alle sights var i gå afstand. Fin betjening på hotellet. På minussiden er helt klart rengøringen af værelserne.

A nice comfortable hotel located right on Korea way which gave us the opportunity to get some lovely Sushi and Korean BBQ. The hotel has a very friendly staff and the room are good and are kept clean and need by the cleaners. It is possible to get WiFi in the room but it is fairly expensive. Et udemærket hotel,rent og pænt. Vi boede på 4. sal, her nåede dagslyset aldrig ind. Morgenmaden er ikke international, består kun af brød og kager. Servicen i top.

Hotellet er ok. til prisen. God betjening, samt perfekt beliggenhed. Lille morgenmadrestaurant, men kvik omstilling og kort kø ved bufetten. Værelset er ok og fin rengøring. Kan anbefales til andre.

Beliggenheden er fin, men værelset med dobbeltseng er meget lille.

Convience to bus drop and access to subways was about the best comfort offered here. If you simply need a place to stay this will work. The room was adequate. The hotel lobby was not quite a real lobby. The hallways were narrow and the room size no more than needed to survive. Not upset just looking for more. Skip this one if you can.

Overall good value for an excellent location. Far from business class, but good enough when you pay for yourself and just need a fair place to sleep and rest. Friendly staff. Would consider it again.

The person checking me in was on cloud 9 and forgot to give me my key and then forgot to give me my ID back, so check-in took 15 minues. While checking in, the lobby filled with a group of 15 loud tourists and their luggage (which comes with the neighborhood), it is a tourist location. When finally in the room, I swear there was not a single outlet […] to be found in my room. I had to unplug the refrigerator to plug in my laptop. hotel is less than 5 minute walking to Penn Station everything you have to see or do is walking distance to the hotel

We really enjoyed this hotel, it was very clean and comfortable, luxury bathroom, close to shopping mall. Many Chinese restaurants close by and a 24 hour deli/convenience store right across the street. The staff were very friendly and we were able to leave our luggage at the front lobby while we went to a few shows. We also got a free room upgrade.

Trip Advisor indicates a 4 star rating from feedback received?! Can't believe it's the same hotel. For the 5 days we were wishing we had booked next door at the competition! Great location and ok if on a tight budget otherwise you'll be disappointed. Hardly any control of heating/cooling, included breakfast we were handed a plastic tray with plastic […] cutlery and the choice was bagels or iced dognuts! I'm glad to say that I am very satisfied with this hotel. I was really in love with the shower they had to offer!! Great location with lots of attractions. Times Sq and lots of shopping in walking distance. 15 mins tops. Definitely would stay here again.

Hotel in nice location. Parking garage right across the street for those of you driving into the City. One of our two rooms at least 95 degrees throughout the night. Hotel staff disinterested in problem. Would not consider a discount on the stay. Breakfast basically bagels and donuts. This area also very hot.

The location is an easy walk to many things including the theater district, Times Square, or the Empire state building. The room I got was clean and well maintained with a microrefrigerator. Check-in went without any hitches. The continental breakfast was quite good, although it did not begin until 7:30 which pushed my morning schedule. We only needed to stay one night at a reasonable price and this turned out to be great choice. Conveniently located about a block away from Penn station, clean, comfortable. Twin beds were a bit tiny but then again for the price it was a great place

The rooms in the pictures and what they really look like, don't really match. I don't particularly care in this instance because I was just going there for a night. The rooms are not really updated (at least mine wasn't) and the shower head had very really pressure and it drained really really slow. We have a very nice stay at the Hotel Stanford. Our room was very comfortable and very quiet! The decorations were not brand new - but everything was clean and the staff was so nice so we really didn't mind whether it was very modern or not. Besides, the price was wonderful! Thank you!

We picked this hotel because it was only a few blocks from the Megabus stop, allowing us to quickly drop off our bags and start enjoying NYC for our 30 hour stay. We were impressed by the overall condition and cleanliness of the rooms. We stayed in a twin/twin room, and while somewhat small (hey, this is New York after all), the room was immaculate, […] attractively furnished in an upscale manner, and had a very spacious bathroom with plenty of shelf room for our toiletries. The continental breakfast the next morning was straightforward (assorted danish, coffee, juice), which I think was a plus...no powdered scrambled eggs or long waits at the waffle iron. Ugh. The person checking us in also accommodated our request for a room on the top floor, away from traffic noise, and the room delivered...very quiet, and with great room darkening curtains. This is not a full scale luxury hotel...the doorman didn't offer to take our bags up to our room, for instance...but overall, the staff was very friendly and professional, and we were extremely pleased with our stay. We arrived in New Yor for a three day shopping trip, to celebrate my daughters 21st birithday. The hotel staff were all friendly and proffessional. The location was terriffic. Empire State Building , Macy's and Broadway within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea was lovely. It was a pleaseure to stay there.

We were very pleased with the hotel, clean, roomy (for NY), affordable and located at the heart of everything-near Penn station, Rockefeller Plaza, times suare, Broadway, Macy's and subway stations. Would definitely book there again!

I wanted to try out a moderately priced hotel in the area and settled on the Stanford based on positive reviews. The room was small, as expected in NYC, and a little old fashioned, but it was clean and everything worked. So did the rest of the hotel and staff and I was pleasantly surprised. While the location of the hotel was quite good, the hotel itself is showing significant signs of wear. It sorely needs an update. Room was worn thin, both the mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the television set was old, small and had extremely limited channels. Unfortunately, the most disturbing issue was the pair of socks I found […] between the sheets at the bottom of the bed, which seemed to clearly indicate that the room had been haphazardly cleaned between guests, and that the sheets were most likely not completely fresh although the bed had been made. Wonderful! Amazing location within walking distance to everything. Broadway theatres, 5th Ave shopping experience, Empire State Bldg., Macy's flagship store, and more and more and more. VERY clean and the beds were absolutely comfortable and the down comforters added to the luxury. The staff was entirely accomodating, up to and including allowing my […] daughter and I to receive our accomodations much earlier than the stated check in time. Wonderful location in Mid-Town, a subway station only one block away and close to everything NY has to offer. Clean, well-presented hotel with smallish rooms but more than adequate, after all you don't travel to NY to be in a hotel room. We booked the entry level room (standard) and we got a room on the ninth floor, with "views" over a car park. Breakfast […] was included as well and whilst basic, all one needed for a start into the day was provided: bagels, cream cheese, jam, donuts, juice, milk, coffee, tea. The only downside was that the hotel charges for internet, at a price that I personally found quite steep. There is a business center on the second floor and free WiFi in the lobby, however if internet is not required for work whilst in the room, free WiFi is readily available anywhere, for example Starbucks. I mean, yes i wanted to be near alot of the city features, but this place leaves alot to be desired. I mean for the price it isn't horrible if you just plan on crashing, but it was very much and old hotel with very old features. If you need to use lobby bathroom you share it with the Vietnamese restaurant next door, it is in the center of Vietnamese […] town. The continental breakfast is held at a little shop a joined to the hotel, seating is very limited, and if you want o grab a muffin and coffee and eat in you room, you will pay for it..literally. The rooms are musty and old, it looked liek they upgraded the bathroom and forgot to touch the room. I know the price is great but stay at the Radisson next door. Læs mere

We found the location to be very convenient (on or near several subway lines and only one stop from Times Square) and our room surprisingly up to date and quiet. The continental breakfast was bagels and pastries and apples - nothing special but still nice to not have to pay extra for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. this hotels is located at korean town, if you're into korean food, this is the right choice for you. getting around town is easy since it's close to a subway station. there is one thing i dislike, the heater is my room made an annoying noise at night. overall, recommended hotel for traveller that seeks cheap and strategic hotel in nyc.

It was a nice and relaxful stay but continental breakfast consisted of coffee and cookies. Other than that it was a nice stay.

This hotel is very basic in most respects, but an excellent value in the neighborhood, which is a great place for tourists and business travelers alike. The room was small and basic, but everything worked fine and was clean and well kept up. No real selection of TV channels, if that matters to you.
