Albergotto Hotel - Firenze

God service, flot og rent hotel, MEGET støj fra gaden men det er forventeligt inde midt i centrum. Utroligt venligt og hjælpsomt personale :-)

Det var et dejligt hotel med fine værelser og det var meget fint at man selv kunne lave sig en kop te eller kaffe.Det kunne ikke ligge bedere så når vi skal til Firenze igen vil gerns bo der igen .

Hotellet ligger rigtig centralt med højest 15 min gang til alle "væsentlige" seværdigheder i Firenze. Venlig betjening, gode værelser, ok morgenmad. Beliggende fra 1.sal og op dog ikke noget for handicappede (kun elevator fra 1.sal).

Var blevet opgraderet fra enkeltværelse til sup. dobbeltværelse. Venlige receptionister, fint rent værelse, god madras.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the historic district. The room was spacious and very comfortable, nicely decorated as well. Only one problem. Our room faced the street which was noisy the night we were there. If we go again I'll choose the same hotel, but ask for a room away from the main street. Very nice hotel. Great location! Only negative comment was the air conditioning wasn't yet turned on....time of year(early April). It was rather warm in the room...about 26C. Only way to cool room was to open window, which then allows all the street noise(cars, scooters, people laughing/shouting) to keep you awake at night. Don't forget earplugs!! Just about everything regarding this hotel was great. The staff was wonderful in helping me decide on tours. They were extremely attentive to all my needs. The only complaint I would have was that my single bed was not comfortable at all. Also, the temperature control was not working properly and it would get hot in my room at night. Other than that, […] the room was kept very clean, the breakfast was wonderfult, the staff was courteous, location was great, it was relatively quite, and I would stay there again. Charming and perfectly located hotel in the heart of Florence. Had a very nice 2 day stay and was given a bottle of wine to offset the inconvenience of a local power outage on our street!

My wife and I just spent several days in Florence, staying at the Albergotto. Took the train into town and a cab had us at the hotel in 5 minutes (if you are running on portable luggage, the walk would take you 10). The porter wrangled our bags up the stairs to the elevator (classic European elevator, size of a phone booth). Check in was effortless. […] We'd prepaid the hotel but had to pony up 20-odd euro for the city guest tax, which has to be collected in cash (same deal in Rome). Room was comfortable, a bit warm at times but opening a window for a few minutes. Nice bathroom (shower only but made up for it with very precise temperature and water pressure controls). I particularly liked the design of the bidet, which put a stream of water where one needed it, at whatever temperature one liked. Location is superb - you are on Conspicuous Consumption Central with via del Tornabuoni. The hotel itself occupies the floors above Gucci. The street houses Tiffany, Cartier, Vuitton, Armani, et al. Not that we were shopping there, but it is a very showy set of neighbors. Almost any hotel in the old city will be within a few minutes of the main sights. From Albergotto, it is two blocks to Piaaza della Signoria, two more to the Duomo or to Piazza della Republica (and thus the Uffizi). A map of Florence will tell the rest of that tale. The only drawback is the number of stairs to get into the hotel.

This hotel is right in the middle of everything. Its about a 10min walk to Santa Maria Novella train station, 3min to Ponte Vecchio, 12mins to Duomo, 15 to 20min to go see statue of David, and about 10mins to the Uffizi. Its also in the heart of the fashion district in Florence. A ton of great restaurants in the neighborhood. I had a room that had 1 […] double bed, which was very spacious. The shower stall is really tiny, but I feel like that is typical in Europe. The TV is tiny, but if you don't plan on spending too much time in your hotel room it shouldn't be an issue. The AC worked fine, and kept the room cool. Overall very happy with the hotel and would stay there again. Læs mere

This is a lovely hotel in the very best of locations. Set on quite a busy street opposite the Strozzi Palace amidst the best of disigner shops; above Gucci. Our room, a deluxe, was at the front overlooking the Palace and the road. Road noise was not a problem we had double glazing which not only kept out the noise it also kept out the heat. Temperatures […] were about 30 degrees. The air conditioning worked very efficiently. Our room was very large and nicely furnished in a lpeasing style. The en suite wet room was also quite large and the shower worked perfectly being very effective. The staff were wonderfully helpful; from the porter bringing up the bags, the waiters serving breakfast and the reception staff. One young lady sorted out our return flight quicker and more efficiently than I could have done. The hotel had a calm peaceful atmosphere and we were left to get on with our holiday without any fuss but the staff were there if required. Breakfast was a broad selection to please most tastes with unlimited coffe. The location is very good in the centre of town, just round the corner from our favourite restaurant and two minutes from most of the main sites. The hotel is in the shopping area on the street where most of the best "names" are located; which pleased my wife. It is only a short easy walk to the station and the airport shuttle bus. The only let down was the stairs up to the hotel, which is located on the second floor and the lift does not go down to street level. however, porters are always available. We go to Florence most years and will return to this lovely hotel. Læs mere

The only negative that we can write about this hotel is that you do have to climb a flight of stairs to get into the building. It is on a busy street and if you leave the window open the noise will keep you up. The air conditioning worked well so we did not have to keep the window open. Breakfast is excellent. The customer service at this hotel was terrible. The manager, Valentina was argumentative rather than accommodating and made our stay incredibly unpleasant.

Great service, breakfast, wi-fi, room and cleaness. Very near to most touristc places to visit and also to the train staton. There is also a Brazilian woman in the staff who was especially helpful for us.

Tutto ottimo solo i muri della camera erano scorchi per maleducazione dei clienti c'erano forme di suola di scarpe e altro, giustamente non si può imbiancare sempre per il resto ottimo hotel centralissimo e vicino alla stazione, ottima colazione lo consiglio vivamente.

Café da manhã razoável, localização fantástica (perto de tudo), serviço ótimo e quarto bastante confortável. Ótima estada, altamente recomendável!

Todo perfecto, salvo el primer tramo de la escalera de acceso, ya que el ascensor no llega a la entrada.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, en plein coeur de Florence, entouré des boutiques de luxe et à 5 minutes à pied de la cathédrale. Le quartier est très calme. Le personnel de l'hôtel est accueillant et disponible. Notre chambre était petite et vétuste. La salle de bains était abîmée et très petite. Le petit-déjeuner était bien, mais avec un choix relativement […] restreint. Cet hôtel n'a rien d'un 4 étoiles, c'est plutôt un 3 étoiles. très bien situé mais une vraie galère avec notre voiture , pour trouver l'hotel (circulation très réglementée dans la ville ) même avec le GPS et pour le stationnement (supplément de 26€ par nuit)!

Un bel hôtel, très bien situé dans Florence, un personnel d'accueil très agréable et efficace.

Siisti huone, joskin hieman pieni. Ikkuna vilkkaalle kadulle. Oikein hyvä sijainti, lyhyt kävelymatka tärkeimpiin nähtävyyksiin ja rautatieasemalle. Italialaiseksi hotelliksi hyvä aamiainen. Ei suositella liikuntaesteisille, koska ensin on käveltävä portaat ensimmäiseen kerrokseen, josta alkaa hissi ylimpiin kerroksiin.

Hôtel très central, situé dans la rue la plus commerçante de Florence, tout proche de tous les centres d'intérêt. Hôtel très bien entretenu, la literie et superbe, les chambres spacieuses, le personnel très agréable, toujours à notre écoute pour nous donner tous les renseignements afin que notre séjour se passe le mieux du monde. Le petit déjeuner délicieux […] et très copieux, servi sous la forme de buffet. Un seul inconvénient, un étage à monter avant d'arriver à la réception et à l'ascenseur. Mais le personnel nous monte les valises sans problème et nous les descend également. Cela ne nous a pas gêner car nous pouvions monter quelques marches mais je conçois que pour certaines personnes cela peut être un handicap. Vi ble godt mottatt ved ankomst og fikk et oppgradert rom uten og be om det. Frokosten var helt ok, alt fra wasa knekkebrød til søte kaker og frukt. Rommet og hotellet var fint, men det var for mye trafikkstøy - slik at vi våknet hver natt av det. Lokaliseringen var fantastisk. Alt av severdigheter lå innenfor gangavstand.

Anbefaler hotellet veldig for gode senger, rene rom, god frokost samt en ekstremt bra plassering!
