Barceló Hotel Sants - Barcelona

Hotellet var rent, komfortabel, og værelset havde et stort vindue over byen. Stor fladskærm, gratis internet og en god seng. Hvis man skal finde håret i mælken kan der nævnes at toilettet var en boks inde i værelset, det var lidt underlig, men der var ikke lugtgener, så det var OK.

Super fint hotel med god service og rigtig god morgenbuffet. Dejlige store værelser, rent og pænt med gode bade- og toiletfaciliteter. Yderst centralt beliggende oven på hovedbanegården med direkte forbindelse til lufthavnen. Trods beliggenhed ingen støj.

Vi var 2 par på forretningsophold i Barcelona og boede på hotellet 4 nætter. Hotellet levede fuldt op til vore forventninger. Beliggenhed utrolig god ved trafikknudepunkt for alle slags transportmidler. Selve hotellet var proffesionelt styret og havde en overdådig morgenbuffet. Anbefalelsesværdigt.

Hotellet ligger bekvemt oven på hovedbanegården, det er nemt at bruge som udgangspunkt, både lokalt i Barcelona, men også hvis turen går lidt ud af byen. Der er ikke støj, og der er masser af gode restauranter i nærheden.

Vi tog til Barcelona for at løbe marathon søndag den 060311. Jeg troede det var et roligt hotel, idet jeg havde bedt om et roligt værelse af netop samme grund. Det var hotellet helt forstående overfor og skrev det netop var et roligt hotel. Ankomst lørdag. Løb søndag morgen. Så langt så godt. Om natten kl. 0110 blev vi vækket i vores værelser på 1. […] salen. (herunder v. 132) Der var en voldsom musiklarm med sing a long og karaooke i umiddelbar nærhed. Fra kl. 0130 til kl. 0230 ringede vi til receptionen for at høre nærmere. Deres engelske rakte ikke det store, men det blev forklaret at vi ikke var tilfredse med larmen. Sorry var svaret, inden forbindelsen blev afbrudt. Kl. 0335 gik jeg personligt ned i receptionen. To ansatte kunne selvfølgelig godt se mit og de andre løberes problem med nattesøvnen, men kunne intet stille op (ville ikke) ift. musik og fest. Sorry, its out of control... Maybe it stops at 3 o'clock. Fedt. Med røg ud af ørene gik jeg tilbage til værelset. Kl. 0310 var der ro, og det blev til nogle tiltrængte timer inden uret ringede kl. 0545. Ellers et godt hotel til prisen. God morgenmad til ti euro. Et par tabte solbriller i en taxa til hotellet kunne de ikke hjælpe med i relation til en kontakt til taxa, da det ikke var deres bord. The hotel is still under renovation, hence the lift that connect the hotel & station doesn't work all the time & the dining area still using their previous hotel design which is rather odd & old. Overall, the new rooms are modern & nice & very convenience since it is right above the metro & train station. Just that please don't expect much to view at […] the surrounding area. One last commend, their hotline never work & I email them through their online "Contact us" before (3 times) & after the trip (1 time because my friend left a newly purchased bag at the room) for inquiry, no response was obtained! Rude service in the restaraunt Extra charge for gym that was not advertized Maids/hotel employees try to enter room early to clean, even with sign on door.

The hotel was consistent with the reviews I read- great location from the renfre and metro trains...the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable as well:-)

I only stayed at the Barcelo Sants for 1 nights, so I was not able to take advantage of all it had to offer, but the room was fantastic. The funky space age decor is charming, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were amazing to this weary traveller at the end of the 2-week trip. Free wifi in the room! That works! This hotel was extremely convenient, located right on top of the Sants Train Station. It was very quiet and the rooms were spacious and modern (Star Trek motif). The metro was right underneath at the station (buy a T-10, ten rides for 8.25 Euro) and it was only a few stops to the Gothic quarter. The sightseeing bus stops right in front of the hotel […] and there are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Also the RENFE train to the airports leaves every 20 minutes from the Sants Station, takes 20 minutes to get there and only costs one Metro ticket. Læs mere

We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is located on top of a metro/train station with a taxi and bus hub. It was extremely convenient and easy to get around. The hotel itself was nice and to be in Europe was roomy and comfortable. It had a king-sized bed, flat screen tv and a nice bathroom. Lovely modern hotel easy for local transport and convenient for getting to and from places, the hotel itself is well maintained and in good condition, lovely modern bedrooms, hallway was quite dark but part of the style, found the breakfast very good. Great location on the transport hub, ideal to get to all city sights, out of town locations and to/from airport. Rooms spotless and quiet, bed was fantastic. Staff very helpful, breakfast very good. Because we travelled Spain by train this hotel right above the rasilway station was ideal for our Barcelona stay. We thought that there might be some rail and road noise but neverheard a sound

Great location above railway station ideal for train and metro travellers. Hop on hop off bus stop just across the road. Rooms clean and large and good breakfast.

the room was satisfactory and the staff was helpful. Transportation was right underneath you at the railroad station. The station also has fast food places for quick breakfast and lunches. Highly recomend the on-off tour bus which was located across the street. There are sidewalk cafes a block away. Sure many would say there was a lot of noise in the area but there was a street festival going on. The location of the hotel, at the train station, was great for me. Hotel, people, staff, location, metro, bus tours etc...all in the area a few steps from the hotel. Talk about a sweet deal. WOuld I stay here again? Yes.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed perhaps. Direct train will take you from the airport to the hotel. Funny enough, the hotel sits right above the train station. The hotel lobby might not surprise you, but wait until you see your room. Visiting Barcelona during the August holiday rendered some of the more obvious hotel choices closer to Plaza Catalunya too expensive for our budget, so I searched around and found the quirky Barceló Hotel Sants with its orbital themed rooms. We were a little hesitant about the location directly ABOVE the Sants Estacio train station, but this gem of […] a hotel really grew on us over the week. First of all, the location is magnificent...we landed at the airport, walked directly to the train, fare was cheap, and were walking into our hotel in under 30 minutes. We found the lobby is a bit subdued, and the front desk was SO helpful. We quickly had our room keys and the fun began as you step off the elevator into the set of Star Trek! The orbital theme was fun and well executed...who ever designed the rooms thought of everything. Beyond the space aged art, the walk-in shower was the best we'd had in 10 weeks of traveling the world, and the bed was extremely comfy with TONS of pillows. Eventually we realized that we preferred the ease of taking an elevator directly into the train station and being able to cheaply/easily get most touristy places in BCN without switching trains! An added bonus was some of the uncrowded side streets around the neighborhood around the train station, featuring lovely fruit stands and some mom & pop restaurants that were priced well below the more touristy areas near the beach. Finally, our favorite part was the fact that we could walk to/from Montjuic, with it's lovely green space and brilliant vantage points to take in the vibrant city of Barcelona. My wife craves wi-fi, and Barceló Hotel Sants was one of the few places we've stayed with consistent, free high speed internet. Hotel right above the train station. Easy access to the metro and the sight seeing bus stop right outside. We stayed in a orbital room which was great with the room over looking the city. Would stay here again on my next visit and highly recommended to others.

Fantastic hotel with warm and welcoming staff. The lobby area is wonderfully decorated with a fountain and chandelier. My room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The black-out blinds (electronically controlled) did a great job at blocking out nearly all the light. The location was great too as the hotel is situated ontop of a main train station. […] A very quick, easy and cheap train ride away from the airport and main barcelona. There is a supermarket across the road which is great if you want to have a picnic on the beach. Only a few small gripes. Tthere aren't many English TV channels. BBC World news and CNN are the only ones. Also, we asked for another pair of slippers as only one pair were supplied, but these were never received. Apart from that, it was a delightful hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The room was wonderful; very modern and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable and the shower was large with a rain-like showerhead, directly overhead! The room was very clean. The metro was so convenient because the metro and train station were right below the hotel so it was easy to get to any part of the city and only […] a 15 minute ride to the airport. The only complaint is that there was not a big selection of restaurants in our opinion close to the hotel. Otherwise, a great stay! We booked the rooms which had been renovated recently, so the room was so comfy and clean. However, I don't know if they still going under renovation, the front desk, lobby and the lifts are kind of worn out. Hope they will renovate soon, so I can book the same hotel next year. My first time in Barca, and this hotel was nice but everyday (total of 8 days) early in the morning, someone was working on the hotel - construction noise. when you are on VACATION the last thing you want is have someone/something wake you up hella early. fantastic out of center location! above the station - go outside towards taxi's, turn right, avoid the smokers, and in the first door, then go up! simple! even easier is the train from the airport (leaves from t2 but bus shuttle from t1 is quick and frequent - get on any train, all go to estacion sants) - 3 euro each way. orbital rooms are clean modern […] and functional, so is room service, everything you would need till i think 1am. early check in (11am!) was fantastic after overnight flight from nyc, but i cant gurantee they offer to everyone/all the time. plus a big plus for us. bar on 1st floor was only one open for us, but a bit $$$, but room rate was reasonable for such a convinient hotel. train, car rental, tourist bus and subway all inside/outside the hotel building so for us it was great... room service pizza, not american style but delicious.. would return to this hotel again when back in barca! Lovely hotel with excellent links to public transport.

This hotel is right above the Barcelona Sants station, so it's so convenient to use the metro or take the train to any location. The best sights of Barcelona are only a couple metro stops away. The price is extremely affordable considering the location, cleanliness, free wifi, and comfortable beds! I've stayed at two other hotels in Barcelona and the […] beds were so hard! Hotel reformado a nuevo, bien ubicado sobre todo si uno viaja en tren o va a utilizar mucho el metro. A 15 minutos de los lugares turísticos pero con el metro se llega bien a todos lados. Precio muy razonable porque no es céntrico. Recomendable

Der Aufenthalt war äußerst angenehm. Besonders der Blick beim aufwachen aus dem 7. Stock hinunter auf Barcelona und das Meer war absolut mega.

Det var problematisk at bare en av heisene mellom resepsjonen og metrostasjonen virket. Denne heisen er så liten at den tar kun 2 personer med bagasje.Litt spesielt at vasken var ute i soverommet. Metrostasjonen Sants er et underjordisk vivvar av ganger ofte uten rulletrapper. Nyrenoverat fräscht hotell med pendeltåg och två tunnelbanelinjer under huset, samt taxi-station utanför entren. Till La Rambla och Camp Nou kommer man utan tunnelbanebyte. Mc Donalds i huset. Dock inte så mycket att titta på just vid hotellet.
