HYATT house Los Angeles LAX/El Segundo - El Segundo

Superfantastisk hotel som vi helt sikkert vil bo på igen, hvis vi kommer til LA. De havde mingeltid mellem 17-19, hvor de servede snack = let aftensmad, hvilket var super når man havde været ude på tur hele dagen. Ved dog ikke om det kun var i april måned.

Hotellet lå få minutter fra LA's internationale lufthavn, hvilket var rart efter små 11 timers flyvetur. Trods nærheden til lufthavnen var der ingen generende støj. Der var et stort udbud af restauranter i gåafstand fra hotellet. Morgenmaden på hotellet var ganske udmærket, og det samme var den tilhørende kaffe. Hotellet havde en pool, som ikke var […] særlig stor, men den var på intet tidspunkt overfyldt i de fire dage, vi boede der, og man kunne altid få en liggestol. Personalet på hotellet var venligt og imødekommende, og det var desuden gratis at parkere. Fra hotellet var der ca. 45 minutters kørsel til områder som Universal Studios og Hollywood. Læs mere

Vi var 2 voksne og 2 drenge på 13 og 16 og eneste punkt vi kunne have haft bedre, var en rigtig seng til drengene. Sovesofaen var for lille. Hotellet har 2 Weber gas grill, som vi benyttede til at lave nogle mega bøffer på. 10 min til nærmeste strand, hvor vi så delfiner i bølgerne. 10 min til LAX

Rigtig dejligt Hotel. Rigtig god beliggenhed, rigtig godt hvis man har børn med, det er et sikkert område, rare omgivelser. Meget nemt at køre på motorvejen og finde deværse serværdigheder. Det enest minus vi havde var at man godt kunne have meget mere at vælge imellem til morgebufe, det var lidt tamt.

We stayed for two nights as a stop over on flights from New Zealand to Europe. Rooms were easily big enough for family of five, and hotel was near enough to freeways to get around town, but not so close that you would hear them. This hotel had the Hyatt name but is awful. Our room was so dirty the floors were black and body hair in the bed was only the beginning! We changed rooms to a so-called cleaner one, it was also dirty. My family and I refused to shower here - it was so gross! This really had it all, the location was easy to get to, and very quiet for being near LAX. The room was incredible and very clean. The best part was the staff; they were fantastic, and so courteous and friendly. Will stay here every time in LA. I travel a lot, and this is in my top 5 good experiences at a Hyatt property.

Great place for families and extended stay. Just off the 405 so easy access to all the attractions. Tatiana was a wonderful staff member and made my first LA trip a memorable one.

Very easy to find. Wonderfully large 2 bedroomed suite with full kitchen. Very close to store for food shopping. Good pool and spa. Excellent breakfast. Very close to LAX and easy access to I405 and to the beaches. Would definitely use it again.

It was a very comfortable stay at Hyatt. The service was good and the room was spacious and clean. A very nice kitchen and dining room as well with utensils and dishwasher too. We were late for breakfast on one of the days, the lady was kind enough to still give us some bread and cereal. Two complaints though-There were no elevators to the room. If […] you have heavy bags, good luck carrying it up to the stairs. I have a 2 year old son who runs and jumps around and we were on the second floor. We got a complaint from people living downstairs. The hotel should just check in guests with kids in to first floor rooms. We had a full kitchen. Place was clean. Not far from the beach and close to the airport. We stayed there for Step 2 CS (less than 5 minutes away). Staff was ok. They didn't have an elevator and since there was no bellhop available, we had to carry our own luggage up three flights of stairs. It was nice for the most part except there was a skylight in […] our room! That would have been great if we could pull some blinds over it. Clean and spacious room. Room ammenities were more than expected. Rooms in back of hotel are near the train tracks. Noise was bearable. Train traffic stops at 2 a.m. but starts again at 5 a.m. Might want to ask for a room in the front or side of hotel. Price was right too. Includes breakfast. We will definitely stay again. Location is very convenient […] to LAX, fantastic shopping and beaches. Restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel are some of the best. Can't go wrong staying here! Læs mere

Hotel is more like a motel. No elevator so if you have luggage and are not on the first floor you'd better be in shape to carry your luggage to 2nd or 3rd floor! Free breakfast, parking and internet though. Old furniture in living room. Couch cushions where dirty.

We (4 adults+1child) stayed here for just a day and it was great. The location, being close to LAX, was very convenient. The outside of the hotel was a bit of a disappointment but the room was great. We booked a two bedroom suite and worked great for the 5 of us. The decor was good, inside was clean and kitchenette was complete with utensils and cutlery. […] There was even a dishwasher! The complementary breakfast and the service was great too. Check-in was a breeze, there was enough parking space and it was quiet. There was a storage facility for our luggage after check-out and the front desk efficiently called us a cab for LAX while returning. We stayed here for the first time only because of the reviews and the Hyatt name. We are glad we did. Will certainly stay there again. Læs mere

Very nice -- great value. The room was clean, bigger than what I needed and very nice. Location was good -- close to LAX with shopping and a range of eateries nearby. No extra charge to park -- that was important to me.

Very approachable and helpful staff. Well stocked hot and cold breakfast, laundry and internet facilities. Good venue for families and self catering. Close to LAX airport, shops, etc but transport required to access beach. Hotel does offer shuttle.

We stayed five nights in it felt like home. There are two roomy bedrooms and two full baths plus a complete kitchen. It is close to the beautiful area of Manhattan Beach, which has plenty of nice restaurants (try Pancho's), trendy shops and a very pleasant ambiance. Even though it was a 20 minutes ride to LA, it was totally worth it, to come "home" […] to this hotel. We highly recommend it to families and people who want to get the best for their bucks!! I stayed at the Hyatt Summerfield all week for work. The room was very spacious, great kitchen, living room, bathroom bedroom combo. This website only gave it a 3 star, I would say its at least a 4. Very convenient, right near main interstate and great for business travelers or families. Pool area was very nice and included hot breakfast each morning. […] Food was excellent. As is apparently typical of these types of hotels, there are several levels and no elevators. It's a nice spot and good breakfasts in particular. but if you are challenged, be sure to stay on the ground floor.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Having a two bedroom suite worked perfectly for our family. 20 mins to the beach and 45 to Disneyland it is as centrally located as you can get in LA without the high prices. Plenty of grocery stores, malls and places to eat within walking distance.Safe, clean neighborhood.

Second time we've stayed here. Great location, 5 minute drive to ocean (El Porto beach). Close to grocery stores, shopping and 405 highway. Excellent service and cleanliness. Great resort!

We stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. We have three small children and I was making the wedding cake and needed a full sized kitchen as well as a separate bedroom for our kids so I could work after they went to bed. The room was great in all aspects. The only thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the carpet nit was vacuumed […] well but needed a deep cleaning. Our feet were black by the end of the day :(. Otherwise the place was perfect for all our needs, including a convection/microwave oven that fit 2 full sheet cake 12x18 pans! Great room, locations and rates. We stayed there for one night and loved it. Very quiet and comfortable!!

We were impressed with this Hyatt Summerfield Suites. Free internet, free parking, free breakfast, and a free happy hour with food were the icing on the cake. It is located in a great neighborhood - lots of nice stores and restaurants nearby. The room was great, too. The setup was perfect for the five of us (three kids). Our older daughters shared their […] bedroom and bathroom, and the walk-in closet in our bedroom was big enough to fit our pack-n-play crib for the baby so he had his own space (but still near us and we kept the door open so he could see us - I know it sounds weird but it worked out great). Then my husband and I could have a little bit of time to ourselves on the couch and relax. The kitchen was fully stocked with the pots, pans, flatware, etc. that we needed. One thing to note is that our room did not have a conventional oven, it did have a convection oven that I first mistook for a microwave. It was all fine, I just thought I had read that it had an oven and assumed it was conventional. My only complaint was that it looked like the bathroom floors could've used a mopping around the toilet, but it's possible the couple of spots I saw were unrelated to what I initially assumed were from the last tenants. First, we were sent to a room that was already occupied. Next we were sent to a room that was filled with smoke, and this was supposed to be non-smoking. room. Next we were sent to the equivalent of an inside room on a cruise ship; only a skylight, no window in the bedroom. We got a two bedroom and two bath suite for a family of three, for a bargain rate! Each suite was equivalent to a small king room, but had the additional bonus of a shared living space and well-equipped kitchen, all for far less than two separate king rooms. We overlooked the pool/spa courtyard from our first floor room, so it was quiet with a nice […] view. I loved the small store area (beer, water, toiletries and supplies), and you could walk to a bagel shop, restaurants, and other shopping was close by. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others staying in the area, and would return should I find myself in that area again. The reason for the 4/5 rating on hotel services was because the breakfast was just okay... It had potential but the buffet was not fully stocked mid-morning and the food was a little stale (eggs etc), there was syrup but no french toast or pancakes. We rented this 2 room suite because we were traveling with a family member and wanted to give her some privacy while sleeping..what we didn't expect was 2 FULL baths, 2 LARGE closets, a FULL kitchen with all the kitchen accesories to cook and eat including a stove, microwave and full sized refrigerator. Everything was great! I will stay here again and I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the area or near the airport.

Stayed one night after a week long trip to southern california. Room was confortable, but nothing special. Breakfast little disappointing. Didn't hold a candle to the Emabassy suite we just left.

the rooms are nice, and the place is nice and quiet if you want to go to relax, has a few good restaurants in walking distance.

Love having a full kitchen! Located within walking distance to grocery stores and shops. Don't like not having an elevator. But great hotel.

I checked in a little late (11pm) and they graciously upgraded me to a 2 bedroom suite since they didn't have any 1 bedrooms left. The front desk receptionist was extremely friendly in accommodating my needs. The suite is spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable.
