It was a nice clean place for our overnight stay before going to ruby falls. Keep in mind though, if you have any heavy bags, there is no elevator for the second floor.

I was pleased with the accommodations at the Super 8 in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. The only thing I found a little confusing is the listing of the location. I thought we were going to be in the southern part of Tennessee and we were actually in Georgia....one step closer to our destination! The bonus was the Civil War museums in the area. I have stayed at this motel at least one dozen times. The rooms are usually nice, the prices are as good as any in the area and the convenience of location to Chattanooga or Lookout Mountain is really good. The problem lies within the following: 1) We felt rushed at breakfast where the cereal was stale and the juice tasted like bleach, 2) two of the […] towels were nearly thread-bear and 3) the hostess (same one from breakfast) was not very hospitable. It got off to a rocky start. We found a pair of dirty panties behind the bed and the only reason we found them was because we found electrical issues first. They moved us to another room immediately which was much appreciated. Then, the owner was rude during breakfast one morning shewing me away from the toaster saying I was "holding up the line." The […] maid went in and cleaned our room even though we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door which was a little annoying but overall the room was very clean so I can't complain about that too much. I'm just glad we didn't leave anything valuable in the room when we thought our privacy would be respected. This hotel was located very close to the Chickamauga NMP, which was ideal. The room was clean with simple appointments. The overall appearance of the hotel was fine.

The hotel was ok for the price, but out of town travelers should understand the location. Other businesses on the street include a number of pawn shops, liquor stores, adult shops, used car dealerships and rent-to-own businesses. The room was ok, but showed some wear and tear.

The beds need to be changed in some rooms. They were literally too hard to sleep on.

Everything about this motel is a great value with the exception of the beds. If you get a room with rock hard, springs only, no padding beds immediately go to the manager and see if you can get your room changed. There are better beds in different rooms. If they don't have any other rooms available you will not be able to stay and will need to move […] and recover the rest of the money you put on your reservation. It was not that expensive so I was not expecting much but as soon as I opened the door I was shocked by how nice and well-kept the room was. It was so comfortable. I would definitely come back again!

The location was great, and the room was clean. The desk needs to be replaced, and a prime electrical outlet needs to be repaired. Staff has been notified about the outlet.

Very clean; The service received from the employees was good. All encounters with the employees was pleasant; Location was good as you have two ways to get to the interstate and it is not that far to the interstate.

my wife and I stayed for 3 days just for a little getaway to reduce stress. It was nice and quiet the first night; the next night was very loud and it took a couple of phone calls to get it under control. The last night was fine, quiet, and we could here each other talk. the rooms were clean. Overall it was a good stay.

The girl at the front desk was not very friendly. We went out for dinner and when we returned I asked her what time the breakfest was open and what did they have. She replied eggs, bacon, and continued to rattle on all sorts of things. When we went for breakfeast the next morning we were surprised. why would the front desk person lie like that? I needed somewhere inexpensive to stay near downtown Chattanooga and found just the place. The biggest PRO (aside from value price) is that staff is extremely friendly. They were delightful. I needed a place to stay for work in downtown Chattanooga. I had stayed in downtown hotels before. Too much road noise and city night life to sleep. This hotel was about a 15 minute drive (early morning commute-7:15am) to downtown, which was no problem for me. No road noise and I sleep fairly well. There was some late night noise a few nights(people […] coming in), but overall a good night's sleep! Room & Bed was well kept, clean and comfortable. I would(will) use again. Close to plenty of eating places back towards the battlefield area(1 mile away). It is in an older part of town, but if looking for a place to sleep that is priced well close to town and kept well, you are not going to go wrong. Everything about this was very good. We came to tour the battlefield and this met all our requirements. It was very convenient to restaurants,shopping and especially the historic battlefield. Desk clerks were friendly and helpful. This made our stay helpful

Room was adequate. Street noise was a minor problem as was the noise of water flowing when someone flushed a toilet. I didn't think it was worth the 4.2 rating I saw when I signed on. Also, it wasn't close to I-24, but that was on me.

This hotel is spotless, no odor's, no air freshner coverup's. The staff is very friendly. We will definately stay again. It is just a couple of blocks off a main four lane and a few from the interstate but worth the drive. I will drive all day to have a clean room.

The hotel looks to have just gone through a remodel so everything was new inside our room. The only set back was if you missed housekeeping, you missed it. When we first arrived, the a/c in our room did not work. They immediately moved us to a different room and the a/c worked perfectly. The staff was very nice.
