Dejlig stort hotel med en flot overdækket Atrium-gård. En del af et kontorkompleks i hjertet af Austin. Super opmærksomt personale, og styr på adgang og transport. Effektivt elevatorsystem, og døgnservice. God aircondition, stort TV, god udsigt fra 12 sal. Fin vasketøjsservice, aflever inden 9 am. - tilbagelevering samme dag. Pool area på toppen af bygningen, og fabelagtig udsigt derfra. Kan varmt anbefales til luksusophold i Austin.

a good value - we just needed a nothing fancy, clean place to stay for the night, and were pleased with the friendly and efficient desk staff - nicer breakfast than expected - and... easy, convenient location.

Room was clean but, the shower rod was coming out of the wall and fell down once when we moved the shower curtain. Staff needs to keep on repairs.

My boyfriend and I went to Austin with our friends, and we wanted somewhere cheap to stay, so we could spend all our money on actually doing things around the city. This place was exactly what we were looking for. It wasn't the Ritz, but it wasn't some seedy roach hotel either. The room was clean, and everything in it worked well. "Super 8 North - Good enough for the price"
Everything went well during our staying. For the price it was good enough, but the breakfest was not really continental, it was simple but still good. I would stay there again, the staff were very friendly!
"2 Night Stay Not Good"
Booked the room for 2 nights with a no cancel policy. This is our first stay at this hotel and our last. Upon check-in we were advised to park at the front of the hotel so that they could keep an eye on the vehicle. We were told that the back of the parking area was the "bad part" where some incidents have occurred. This is an older hotel so we were […] not expecting perfection and the staff seemed helpful so far. When we arrived in our room everything seemed fine. We left for dinner and upon our return we found small roaches in the bathroom. They were in the tub, on the floor, and under the wooden frame that's located under the sink. At this point we wanted to leave, but we couldn't cancel our pre-paid reservations. And if this room had roaches, all the other rooms were going to have them as well. We didn't unpack and left our things inside the luggage and tried to put things where we hoped the roaches were less likely to go. There are no fitted sheets on the beds just flat sheets that moved around a ton and I would imagine that this leads to people sleeping on the mattress as they toss or turn throughout the night...which isn't exactly sanitary. We just tried to be aware of this and didn't really get any real sleep. The pillows are super flat and need to be replaced. Upon discovering the roaches I tried to look at the reviews again to see what I had missed. As we read prior reviews I was terribly sad that I had missed some older bad reviews mentioning the roaches and safety concerns. We stayed in our room as little as possible. The second night we also found roaches again in the bathroom. Our second night there, the cops were out front under the area where you can drive up to the front doors. Not sure what it was in regards to, but he was definitely on duty...uniform and everything. On the morning of our check-out we FOUND ROACHES in the REFRIGERATOR! The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
This was a wonderful hotel, especially for the price. Best value for the price. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very neat. No bad smells.There were two cons. One was that the heater did not blow warm air, although this was not much of a problem because the weather was not too cold. We have stayed at this location several times, and will continue to do so. The Texas-shaped waffles at the free morning breakfast are a fun conversation piece. Clean hotel that was convenienty located near UT campus. It was only 10 minutes away from the Longhorns football stadium. Only complaint was the super outdated comforters and uncomfortable beds.

Everything was fine for the first night, but the second night we came in late and could not find a parking spot so had to park in a handicapped spot. I told the night attendant and she seemed to think i was lying but finally said it was ok. Clean and service from house keeping great. Breakfast with choices not just coffee and donuts! You have a choice of fruit, toast and even waffles! Paid for 10 days with a reasonable rates but when I requested for an additional day stay and ask to pay at the same rate as previous days Management didn't honor the previous rate and increased by $30.00 […] more. I can only blame myself for being disappointed with this choice. If I had read the reviews I would have realized what a poor choice I had made. People hanging out in front of the hotel drinking in the parking lot...police activity across the street (looked like a drug bust). Hallways, elevator, room were fithly. Cathy, at the front desk was so accommodating and it was clean, and comfortable. I had to wash our clothes while there due to unplanned additional two days in Austin, TX. They had everything we needed. I will go back and stay again. The staff was terrific.

We enjoyed a little get away @ Super 8 motel. I was impressed with the Texas shaped waflles. The pool and hot tub was nice and comfortable. Very near to the state capitol and airpot exit. Our five year old loved the pool and jaccuzi. The cortesy computer was so fast it was quicker than at home.

I had three rooms and we stayed for three nights. I found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. The breakfast was enough for me but my kids wanted to go somewhere else. It was not enought choices for them. I would definitely stay there again.

The manager was a nice lady. I had water bugs in my room. It was my Anniversary , so I was disappointed a little bit. I did enjoy the breakfast and the pool area.Oh and the TV channels barely came in. I was disapointed.

"Close to UT and downtown"
Motel was ok for the price, pool looked nice. Neighborhood, not the best, but we felt safe. Room was crowded, but having 2 queen beds was nice, pillows were bad.....

The worst thing was the GIANT roach (a min. of 2 inches long) and its smaller relatives in one of our rooms. The other room had a horrible odor coming from the air conditioner. I think it was mold. The door was left open to the outside off the breakfast area letting in heat and bugs. Also the continental breakfast was almost nonexistent.

During our short stay (we were only in the room about 10 hours, long enough to sleep and get ready) we had two problems. 1. I woke up to a large roach crawling on me! 2. The circuit blew when I was using the hair dryer. I would not reccomend this hotel.
