This is my third or fourth stay at this hotel--for the price, I have no reason to go anywhere else. I'm not talking about bringing my whole family here as a place to relax, but simply as a place for me to drop and get a good night's sleep. "Adequate and cheap"
There are good reasons why this is the cheapest motel in Waxahachie. While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the smoke in the downstairs hallway was atrocious, and the breakfast was subpar--no hot offerings other than toast

For the price it was not bad. The complimentary breakfast is nothing to brag about but again you get what you pay for. For just a place to lay your head for the night, it wasn't bad.
"Very good experience"
The hotel was easy to get to from the highway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean as was the the rest of the hotel. Would recommend it to others and would stay here again. The price was great!.

Checked the TripAdvisor and Hotels.com reviews for Waxahachie, and this place came out on top. Ahead of properties with rates twice as high. This Super 8 earned those high reviews, and I would definitely stay there again! Comfortable bed (although I wished for my own pillow, as these were thin and I like them thick). The shower was AWESOME, it nearly […] peeled the skin off my back. I LOVE a strong shower, and this one was it! The owner checked us in. Very friendly and helpful, and suggested some nearby restaurants. He was also the checkout man the next day. Couldn't ask for a friendlier person! Easy access from the highway. Free parking, and it felt quite secure and non-threatening. Quiet interior corridors. The room was quiet, no outside noise. "You get what you pay for"
I was a little agitated about their claim of hi-speed internet, breakfast, and a pool. The wireless was spotty and was equal to dial up. Breakfast was a joke and the pool was an over-sized bath tub. Room was old but clean. Bed was too soft for my taste. I guess for the price it was what you'd expect. Plus's were a fridge and microwave in room.

"I would not stay here again!"
The man at the front counter was very nice! That was the end of my enjoyment. The beds were old and hard, the pillows were flat, (only three on a King size bed) the beadspread had a burn hole in it, the bathroom was dirty, the hairdryer didn't work. and the continental breakfast was not very good. Never again for me!

"Super 8"
The hotel seemed to be new, it was very clean and comfortable. I was in town for business and needed a good night sleep and a place to work before a meeting. This hotel provided just that.
"Waxahachie Super 8 close to WWII event"
Snack machine & basic amenities helped me get cozy. Right on the Loop yet a short distance from my Event at the Court House Square. Clean enough to walk barefoot in the room. Downside is: Walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors' tv if their kids turn it up to full volume.

The facility, although it was not new, was very clean and quiet. The management when out of their way to make my stay comfortable. He was more than willing to let me use his computer to print my return boarding pass. I would stay there again for sure!

"Very relaxing hotel right off of the highway."
I was very cautious of the hotel because of the super price. However, i decided to try it and I am 100% happy that I did. The motel is on a hill above the I35 highway making it a bit more quiet than right on the exit. I choose to stay there because of it's proximity to the town square.Waxahachie! It was approximately 4 miles to the square on a beautiful […] tree lined street. There is virtually nothing around the hotel except a few houses in the back. The hotel was very clean, management was smiling and helpful, cable was crisp and clear. There was a refrig, iron and board, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Ice machine worked downstairs. The continental breakfast was limited doughnuts, two types of juice, coffee and fruit loops. For the hotel price, I am surprised they offered anything at all. If you are looking for something in that area, this place is excellent. However, it is 25 miles to Dallas if you looking for a outskirts hotel to Dallas. If you stay in the area, this place it tops, but you have to have a car because you can not walk to anything. The only downside of the hotel was that the walls are a bit thin. Læs mere

New LCD TV wall mounted was nice. The only real negatives were the toiletries were skimpy and the breakfast was very limited.

It's very close to historic downtown Waxahachie as well as the newer retail areas. The staff was very friendly. The room, like all areas of the hotel, was clean and well-maintained. This place is a great find!

"As good as you can hope for in a Super 8"
We stayed here three nights over the Thanksgiving weekend while visiting family in town and it was great. The location was pretty good; it was nice to be able to visit family all day and then still be able to get away to our own space at the end of the day. We have an infant and they offered to bring a crib to our room if we wanted one. The shower was […] amazing, bed comfortable, and the heater kept the room nice and warm. The only complaint we had was that while we were in a non-smoking room, the hallway right outside our door reeked of cigarette smoke, even though all the surrounding rooms were also non-smoking. Luckily it didn't carry into the room, but we didn't like having to carry the baby through that smoke to get to our room. Staff was friendly and it was nice and quiet the whole weekend. Læs mere
"2nd Stay--I'd do it again!"
Stayed here before...again this time--just looking for a place to sleep, nothing more, but found this hotel completely satisfactory the 2nd time, as well. Breakfast bar is very minimal, wireless access was spotty in the morning--but worked fine the evening of my stay, and didn't cost an extra $6 like the last place I stayed. FWIW, pool was *tiny*.

We had two rooms, both were clean and comfortable. One had a kind of odd "cleaner" odor when we first arrived but we turned on the air and it quickly went away. It was a nice neighborhood in a convenient location. Traffic was a bit loud but that's just what happens when you get a hotel right on the highway.

Not much, but for the price what more could you expect. Breakfast is a bit scanty, it could be better with just a bit of effort! Fridge was not cold, but started working after I got there.

"NEEDS SECURITY"
THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS GREAT, AND SO WERE THE EMPLOYEES, BUT TWICE WHILE I WAS GOING TO MY CAR (AT NIGHT) THERE WERE PEOPLE IN THE BACK BY THE DUMPSTER PARTYING. THEY WERENT STAYING AT THE HOTEL (MY HUSBAND ASKED)
"Wonderful Stay"
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Scarborough fair. The day time front desk man was extremely nice and helpful and our beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice and well stocked. I would stay here again.
