rigtigt stort hotel der kan anbefales. flotte værelser, hvoraf mange har rigtig flot byudsigt, men nogle med udsigt direkte ind i nabo ejendom. der er vallet parkering der koster 30 dollar. alternativt kan man parkere nogle bloks væk til meget billigere penge. super service, ingen larm

Super hotel, der ligger tæt på lufthavnen uden at det generer. Kanon morgenmad var inkluderet i prisen, og meget venligt personale. Der sker ikke meget i nabolaget, men man kan dog få nogle gode sandwich mm få minutters gang fra hotellet. Der er 15-20 minutter i bil til Coca Cola, CNN og de andre seværdigheder.

"Motel 8 in Decatur Ga."
Been staying here last 3 yrs. This room was the dirtiest room ever given to us. Black hand prints on walls, bathroom unclean, etc. Wife was bitten by some type of insect on last nights stay requiring medical attention. Will not be staying here again.

I am allergic to polen. I guess when they clean rooms, keep doors open. I was very uncomfortable all night. Also bed sheets are very outdated.

Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Decatur. The room was spacious with a King sized bed, table, two chairs, flat screen tv, coffee maker, larger than normal fridge, and microwave. Room was much cleaner than most in this price range. they were doing renovations during the day--painting the outside, but the workers left at 5. Seems like the painting is almost done. Small motel right on a main road, but near downtown Decatur. Clean and nice.

The people were extremely nice - room wasn't as clean as is should of been I think - I mean like the sprinkler system was a def safety hazard, im sure LOL it would NOT work in case of fire. It was probably the nicest hotel stay at a super 8 I have ever had. Great rooms and in very close proximity to fairly nice eateries. We felt comfortable.

The main issue I have with the hotel is the doors to the rooms do not shut all the way. I think this is a huge issue for the safety of your customers. The staff was nice and when we switched from our original room for this issue, the only other room left had the same issue as well.

We were visiting my niece who was going to school at Agnes Scott College, and she had recommended this hotel as being close to downtown Decatur and her college. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean our room was. The breakfast wasn't all that (pastries from Costco and weak coffee), and sometimes you can get the faint smell the cigarette smoke from […] outside. "Very nice port in a storm."
The power was out at home, so I used hotels.com to find a room close by. The staff was courteous and even warned me about construction starting each morning. My room was clean, the air conditioning was nice and cold and the cable worked. It was everything I needed. I was very pleased.

"Sketchy Hotel"
People were just hanging out at night outside my room. They have construction going on. It was loud in the mornings.
Staff was rude, and all in our business. Once I arived at hotel they start to count how many people we were, every night we get back to the hotel they continue to check to make sure we didn't bring extra people with us. The location is rigth by. A cemetery which id a little spoky.

Good value for money. Very convenient location especially if you come to drop or pick your child from Emory University. Close to all restaurants. Affordable location blocks from downtown Decatur and all of its shops. The place was clean, but the walls are a little thin and you should ask for an inner room (not one on the street like we had -- noisy).

"Decent if staying only one night."
The room was okay for a super 8. The breakfast was small and they are not ready for a lot of people. The bed we had was hard and the pillows lumpy.

"Decatur Super 8 Beware Unpleasent Management"
I booked one month earlier on Hotels.com and paid for an extra person charge. We got there and had one king sized bed at which point the unpleasent manager told us it was our fault and said we would need to pay for a roll away bed. I told her we paid for the extra person and she said that didn't matter to her. She then told the guests behind us that […] we were stupid because we had booked the wrong type of room online. There were no extra towels, coffee cups or anything much less a bed for our extra person. Since I am not in the hotel business I thought it should be her responsibility to make things right and she just laughed and called me stupid. Another guest was also called stupid because he expected the non smoking room he paid for to not smell like a stale bar. She said it was his fault for booking online. The managers husband also mentioned it was Hotels.com fault. So I asked him why he dealt with them and of course he couldn't amswer. Usually we stay at the Holiday Inn in Decatur which is wonderful, but they were booked. I will never stay in this filthy hotel again. Even if it was a little dirty, the manager could have made things better with a bed for my daughter and a little bit of the customer is always right attitude. Hotels.com did refund the extra person charge, but our weekend was ruined as 3 grown adults can't sleep very well in one bed. I feel that Hotels.com should refund the remaining momey paid for this dump. I called Super 8 and they say their hotels are independently owned and opperated and they had the right to try to charge for a bed for my 3rd person. So I'd skip Super I altogether as they do not stand behind their product. The reservation for Holiday Inn is already made for next year so I won't have to relive this nightmare. You get what you pay for. Hotel was fine except bathroom was very dirty. The toilet and bathroom floor had not been cleaned.
"Easy Assess To Decatur Court House"
Went to the hotel due to me having a court case in Decatur, GA. If you need some place close and inexpense this is ok for the price. They offer a contential breakfast, frig, microwave, Close to the Marta which take you all around Alanta. Several resturants and Krogers within walking distance.
"Terrible internet"
This hotel was an okay buy and good for the money. However, we had brought a lot of work with us and one of the reasons we choose the hotel was due to it's free internet access. Well, sometimes you get what you pay for. The connection was so slow it was pretty much useless. My husband and I didn't do ANY online work the entire stay.

"Comfortable and convenient"
Nice hotel for the price. Comfortable and convenient. Great neighborhood. Could you a little upgrading.
"Good Enough"
This was a simple motel, clean beds, TV, yadda yadda. My biggest complaint is that, after charging a fee for having a third person in a "double" room, they wouldn't give us a cot without charging another fee. It's a lame policy... but the hotel was really cheap to begin with, so I got over it. Also, we were booked into a smoking room after specifying […] non-smoking. And the bathroom door was tilted away from the hinge slighty, so it didn't close properly (though it stayed "closed" anyway due to the door rubbing against the frame) The continental breakfast is early, short, and unsatisfying so don't count on that. "Comfortable but not fancy"
The rooms were adaquet (comfortable and clean) but the breakfast looked like it was picked up at a gas station that morning. Everything was packed in little fast food bags and looked very unappealing. It was pretty much in the heart of downtown Decatur so the location is good for eating and shopping.

Much better than staying downtown Atlanta. It is a 15min. drive in the am but it is well worth it.

We were pleasantly surprised with the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean . The people at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. I would certainly stay there again.
"bad hotel"
the manger of the hotel is the worst! from the moment we check in to the hotel we had problems with the manger. we asked for a non smoking room and got told repeat not to smoke in the room. we had to ask for towels for everyone to use. they only left 2 for a group of 4. worst stay every!

"Don't let them convince you that the front rooms by the road are quiet"
Don't let them convince you to get a room in the front by the road if you are in on biz and need to be your best for a morning meeting. I expressed concern to the clerk but he convinced me that it would be quiet. But I soon found out the occassional car zooming by every five minutes is loud and the morning rush hour forget about it.
