Nice for the money. Friendly staff. Room had a musty smell but cleared after leaving door open a few minutes.

Uggh. Moldy smell permeated room. Standing water in the sink. Internet so slow as to be useless. 11 miles from where I wanted to be in Richmond. Over a hundred yards to the ice. Cold cereal for 'continental breakfast'. Towels that are so old and cheap that they're closer to sandpaper than towels.

Directly off highway with convenience store next door. All restaurants are about 10 miles away. Motel was aging but clean. Room was very cold when we arrived. We arrived very late in the day so we were ready for bed right away. We had to change in a cold room. Stayed in room 126. The bathtub was TOTALLY disgusting. There was a white circle around the drain, but the rest of the tub was brown and totally unusable. The sink was brown and dirty. First time I've ever NOT left a tip for the house cleaning staff. STAY AWAY!!!

This place is plain nasty. My room was visibly dirty, the shower and toilet (!) in particular. My "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke; even the pillows on the bed smelled. The sheets were strangely sticky. I understand that this is a cheap hotel, but no hotel, no matter how cheap, should be this filthy.

The only complaints were as follows: The shower curtain was a bit moldy on the bottom, no kleenex in the holder, and only enough coffee to make one cup. These are not big issues and overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would stay again.

Hotel didn't look like the picture so I drove right past it first. It was tucked in behind a garage business. Convenient to a gas station and a small convenience store/eatery.

Room was very warm when we arrived. Would be nice if air had been turned on prior to our arrival. Also, curtains prevent air conditioner from working effectively. Overall, room was reasonably priced and a good location.

Not bad at all for the price. Service personnel could be a little more cheerful, morning coffee was week but otherwise it was ok.

This motel is ok if you are needing a place to stay the night and get some sleep for the next 9 hrs of driving. Overall seems clean but needs to be updated. Not much of a breakfast, cereal, toast and a few muffins. I drove into Richmond for a hot breakfast.

Bed was hard as a rock and I don't think the sheets have ever seen softener. It was a place to sleep, but I wouldn't stay for more than one night.

The lady was yelling at me during check in. The manager told me they couldn't place the towels in the rooms because "we are not a hotel". The location is near nothing to eat or any stores. The only good thing I can say is they accept pets at the modest fee of $7 per night.

When you open the door to your room you are greeted by an awful smell. You walk in to the room and gasp, as the floorboards sag under your feet, and you wonder if you will fall through. It's been a long drive, so you use the restroom, only to find that the toilet doesn't want to flush properly, and takes about 3 flushes to clear. Then you look at the […] bed, and wonder how it will be. You pull back the bedspread to see stained sheets and stained pillowcases. The towels are very worn. Then when it comes time to sleep, good luck. Unless you can sleep in a noisy factory, don't try to use the air conditioner. And, you had better hope that the guys next door having some sort of frat/bachelor party aren't there when you are, as the walls are paper thin. There has to be a better place to stay somewhere near. Thank goodness I won't be needing to return to this area anytime soon. Læs mere

All the staff was very rude. Hotel was dirty. There was not very good parking. The closet store was 15 minutes away after the one way overly priced gas station closed at 9pm I make trips to this area about every 3 weeks and will never use this place again. Trust me it's worth the 5 dollars a night to go somewhere else!!

I've stayed in several other Super8 hotels in the past and most of my experiences have been good. This hotel was the exception. The front desk staff was mixed up about the number of nights of my stay, booked through hotels.com. The room was very depressing: dingy, dark, unkempt and dirty. Signs of a half-attempt to redecorate were seen, but the repainting […] job was not professional and paint was slopped around the room--even on the TV. Some of the fixtures (doorknobs, etc.) were grimy and had dirty fingerprints on them. The room was quite depressing and I cancelled my 2nd night's stay. However, the hotel did not credit my stay and I have not been able to get reimbursed for the night that I did not stay at the hotel. I called the manager to verify that they were going to issue me a refund and the person who answered the phone was not kind. They told me they had no record of my cancellation, even though I handed the key to the front desk attendant and said "I won't be staying a second night". When I asked him if I could speak to someone at Super8 about this misunderstanding, he told me that there was no one at corporate that would listen to my complaint and that he was the decider about this issue. So I had to pay for another hotel stay on that night, PLUS pay for a room at a grimy old hotel I didn't even use. Altogether an eye-opening experience about this hotel in particular, and the Super8 chain in general. Læs mere

For the price, this hotel was fine for our 3 night stay. The AC, TV and plumbing worked. The staff politely gave me an additional pillow. Just north of Centerville that is quite quaint, and not far from Earlham College. On a budget, I'd stay there again.
