Fint hotel - værelset var pænt og i orden. Morgenmaden var fin - cornflakes, müsli, yoghurt, brød, juice, kaffe og friskbagte vafler. Det er dog en god ide at komme enten tidligt eller sent, da pladsen er trang. Ellers risikerer man at måtte stå op. Beliggenheden er ikke fantastisk. Der er ca. 15 minutters gang til offentlig transport. (Newark Broad […] St station), hvor der til gengæld er rigtig gode bus- og togforbindelser. Bus (Go28 fra Broad st) til Newark International lufthavnen koster kun $1.50. Tog til New York Penn Station koster $5.00. Alt i alt et hit til prisen, så hotellet kan absolut anbefales, hvis man gerne vil bo forholdsvis tæt på lufthavnen og i fornuftig afstand til New York. Læs mere

Arrived as a family (of 5). We had two rooms. Both were just fine, except one of our rooms was a smoking room (the hotel changed it). We have seen better quality for the same price but not a hotel you should avoid.

I stayed 5 nights in Comfort suites . it was nice , clean , friendly staff . My room was big and comfortable. They have breakfast but i didn't try . The hotel is located on a highway 20 mins walk to Newark center , penn station. i don't think it is safe to walk so it is better to call a cab . private cabs take 8-12 dollars . city cabs (yellow) take […] 7-10 dollars if the counter is working , but at night they turn the counter off and ask you to pay 10-15 dollars. The manager was extremely rude and literally threw me out of the room early morning for no good reason as the season was starting for him

This hotel serves a good continental breakfast and is a reasonable price. Its location is great for an overnight stay if you are visiting New York for the next day. The only thing that was not so good, is that the sofa bed had a dip in the mattress.

Very acceptable for an overnight stay ....no pickup at Newark ...20dollars for taxi ...they can organise return to airport only 10 dollars for a people ...good diner close open into the wee small hours ...it was queued out the door late on a Sat night (Tops Diner)

This hotel provides what Comfort Suites always provides. Our main issue was with the odor. There was a strange odor throughout the building. I might go back as a completely last resort.

we wanted a reasonably priced place close to the Prudential Center and the train station for a quick trip into new york the next day and the comfort suites was perfect for both at a very reasonable cost. staff was very friendly and helpful. Neighborhood was not the greatest but the hotel served our purposes perfectly.

Accomodations: The rooms were clean and spacious. We had 5 adults and 4 kids in two rooms. It was a very affordalbe price. The only concern is the location. It may feel as though you are in an unsafe neighborhood as you get closer in the city, but the hotel does have gates and security on the premise. The rooms had free wi-fii and cable tv. We did not […] use much of it. Breakfast: was ok, but no major complaints since it was free. Traveling to nyc: the host was very friendly and gave our group a way to get to nyc at an affordalbe cost. Needed somewhere to stay for 5 days and didnt have much money. Searched for hours and came across this one. I was very pleased with this choice. Free breakfast, good service (shout out to housekeeper Claudia she was the most polite and helpful), free parking and close proximity to NY and no bed bugs!!! Everywhere else seemed to have reviews of customers […] complaints..... not here. The area had much to be desired but savings were more important. Overall happy with experience. This was our best hotel out of 9 different stays on our vacation. No pool so son was sad. Had a smell of fresh paint but soon was not noticed. Had a flat tire the morning we were to leave. Hotel staff super great and helped out tons. Breakfast was also the best out of 9 we had. Breakfast was awesome! If we go back towards New York City we will stay […] at this hotel. The hotel was nice but be prepared to see rooms rented by the hour. We arrived and a witnessed some "hourly" sleepovers. Other than that it was good and convenient to the airport.

The hotel was really good and staff was very cooperative. The nearest station is Newark Broad street, from one can go to NY via NJ transit or at WTC. I really like the hotel.

It's okay place to stay. Clean and the room was ready early. It's Newark need I say more!

Accomodations were great considering our 1 night stay and special low rates. The complimentary breakfast was unexpected for the price but also great. Our family enjoyed an excellent dinner at Ninja New York.

So much better than sdtaying at the bug ridden hotels so close to EWR. Better for a 10 minute ride with a good night sleep instead of bugbites.... Good conti breakfast also.

This hotel is a good choice for the price. The staff is friendly. From the Newark Pen Station to the hotel takes about 5 to 10 min by taxi and 25 min by walking. The taxi charges you 8 dollars. If you arrive on Newark airport you can use the train till Newark Pen Station ( 1 stop) and take a taxi. Conviently located to major highways..it you don't wanna pay the high price for nyc hotels..breakfast ok..internet access...bed were ok had better...customer service ok....good spot for.a lay over!!!!!!!!

the hotel doesn't have airport shuttle, the sheets were dust and there were hair on them, the hair dryer was dusty and moldy.

No shuttle service as advertised FROM airport. So had to taxi and it was at least 5miles in an industrial area. Then to top off a 10$ shuttle fee TO the airport so add a 30 or so to the hotel bill,no thanks to another stay.

I travel to the Newark area often and this hotel was the best quality for my dollar.

Hotel was comfy and the room was nice and spacious. Heater was a little squeaky but otherwise the stay was nice. There was an issue in the morning with the shuttle to the airport but the management was quick to fix it and covered our cost. Very friendly service and staff. Morning complimentary continental breakfast was fine.

Despite relatively easy access to Newark Int'l Airport, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The room was "ratty", with old, dirty carpet. The couch and desk chair in the room were stained and grungy from years of use, and the couch cushions themselves were flat and worn out. The sheets and comforter on the bed were old and uncomfortable, and don't look […] too closely - you'll find hair and other signs of poor housekeeping. The same goes for the bathroom, where there appeared to be little to no effort in cleaning after the previous guest. Other hotel patrons were loud, and the walls seemed thin, so I could hear conversations and obscenities throughout the evening. Great location in New Jersey. Just a short walk to Broad Street Station. Friendly staff!!! They are very helpful. Excellent breakfast, high speed internet, hot coffee available all day... I loved the hotel!!! Thank you again. :-)

The heating did not seem to work properly but I was too tired to tell them! However, when I woke in the morning, the sunshine was great outside and also I could see a river! so I was happy.
