Hotellet ligger lidt uden for det centrale Rom, men det er nemt at komme til hovedbanegården (Termini) med sporvogn. Eller 600 m. at gå til nærmeste metro-station. Værelset virkede og lugtede lidt gammelt, og kun een stol i et tre-sengs værelse, ellers OK. Rimeligt stort badeværelse, men ingen knager, og tynde håndklæder (ikke frotte). Morgenmaden var meget spartansk. God og pæn reception, gode opholdsrum med bar og gratis wi-fi. Minimarked og restaurant ved siden af hotellet, sidstnævnte kan dog ikke anbefales.

Vi har været meget tilfredse med opholdet, Davide er venlig og imødekommende, alle væsentlige seværdigheder ligger i gåafstand fra hotellet.Den eneste anke er den meget lille brusekabine

Meget små værelser men fint til overnatning

Opholdet var udemærket. Værelset var ikke særligt stort, men det var ikke noget problem i forhold til vores behov. Fin morgenmads restaurant på øverste etage. Herfra var der flot udsigt ud over byen. De er flinke i receptionen og var behjælplige, når vi havde nogen spørgsmål eller ønsker. Det eneste der gik galt for dem, var da vi skulle køre i taxa til lufthavnen. Vi havde om formiddagen tjekket ud og udleveret vores bagage til opbevaring, idet vi skulle udnytte den sidste dag i byen. Da vi skulle have vores bagage udleveret igen, kunne de ikke finde den. Der var tydelige forvirring i receptionen, men vi kunne kun se på, at alle ledte i hjørnerne. Men vores kuffert mv. blev fundet ca. 10 min før taxaen kom. Det var lidt for spændende for os. Men som helhed, er vi tilfredse med opholdet. Alle er flinke og ellers hjælpsomme. Hotellet ligger i et ambassade kvarter med masser af politi på gaden - så vi var på intet tidspunkt utrykke. Turistbusen har et stopsted kun ca. 10 min. gang fra hotellet, så det var perfekt for os. Lige nord for hotellet lå en større park, hvor man kunne smide sig på græsset efter en lang da i byen.

Dejlig hotel, som ligger 1,5 km ca fra en metro og har egen parkering. Roligt område uden støj. Dog kom der tre busser med mennesker, det gav lidt støj denne nat. Men vi kommer helt sikker tilbage igen, hvis turen går til Rom. Ligger super godt.

Vores ophold på hotel GHT var fantastisk !!! Vi blev modtaget med sådan en varme og servicebevidst personale at det kan ikke beskrives med ord! Værlset var altid pænt og rent da vi kom hjem fra vores traveture.Man blev modtaget med en smil i receptionen og de andre steder på hotelet! Morgen bordet var helt ok... jeg savnede dog lidt frisk frugt og grønt […] !!! Ellers alt var bare perfect!!! "Grand Hotel Tiberio - Et okay hotel."
Vi havde bestilt og betalt for en "King size" seng, men vi fik to alm. senge, der var sat sammen. Hotellet sagde at det var en "king size". Toilettet virkede ikke og de fik det ikke til at virke, under vores ophold. Alt andet var rigtigt godt. De havde bland andet en gratis shuttel bus, der kørte ca. hver time ind til centrum og Vatikanet.

A very neat and orderly hotel with a kind and professional staff and a private parking lot. We slept as a family in one room for 2 nights. The comfort was very satisfactory. It was nice that we could park the car on the parking lot since Parking in Rome is a nightmare. The hotel is a bit far away from the center of Rome, so be prepared to walk 15 minutes […] to the metro station or to take a taxi. Hotellet ligger i et ret lokalt område af Rom. Så ingen centrale steder i gåafstand. Man kan dog tage toget eller bussen, som kører ind til St. Peterskirken og så videre derfra. Standardværelserne var helt sikkert ikke hvad der gav hotellet de 4 stjerner. Fælleslokalerne og morgenmaden var fin. Hotelpersonalet var forskellige, men generelt okay. "Terrible internet wi-fi service"
I have stayed at this hotel before and was very disappointed that the wonderful and friendly service that I received during my previous stay was no longer there. The hotel is alright but I would not give it a 4 star rating.

1: The receptionist wiped my iPhone trying to connect it to their wi-fi. I lost everyhting; contacts, emails, apps, photos, music. Some I can't replace ever again; 2: The breakfast was not 4 star: coffee and "juice" from a machine (not fresh), eggs from a liquid (again not fresh), poor quality meats, and a service which was rushed and unfriendly; 3: […] The driver from the hotel was rude. He drove aggressively, argued and shouted at other road users, complained when we asked to go to the final scheduled stop, and leaped out of the minibus before it had stopped; 4: The location is terrible. It's a good 30 minute walk to the Vatican, and miles from the ancient city. There are no restaurants nearby, so you are stuck using the hotel's own restaurant; 5. The Hotel was being renovated, and we were woken each morning at 7am to the sounds of drills and cement mixers; 6: Summed up - expensive and aweful. Læs mere

We stayed in Rome 5 nights and the hotel is in a residential area about 20 minute walk from the Vatican. The hotel had a shuttle that would drop you off at the vatican or near city center. There was also a city bus stop at the corner that was easy to take as well. Breakfast was more than adequate for us. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was good, staff was decent. The restaurant in the hotel is subpar at best. Granted breakfast was free, we had dinner there on one night of our stay and the food was pricey and not the least bit tasty. A nice hotel, the staff was good the food was good. We had a problem with our shower and when the staff was notified the problem was solved when we arrived back at the hotel. No nightlife in the area. Hard to find any bars, or clubs within walking distance after 2100 hrs. A long way from any sights, they do have a shuttle which helps.

We recently stayed at the Grant Hotel Tiberio for a week. Unfortunately, our 87 year old mother fell touring one of the sites while we were in Rome. The hotel provided a wheelchair for her to use while we were there free of charge. The bathrooms and rooms were spotless. The cleaning ladies and front desk personnel were cheery, helpful, and efficient. […] The morning breakfast was the same each day but plentiful. "Too far from center city"
Breakfast was good, place was affordable, bed was nice, hotel was clean....it just was not close enough to what we wanted to see. An FYI for anyone looking at this hotel - yes, it is close to Vatican City - but that is it! All of the other must-see-Rome locations are a trek.
"England rugby"
A good hotel not too far from Stadio Olympico...we walked back after the game! However connections to downtown need mastering! I suggest using the metro from Cipro and walking up the hill. Service was good and rooms suitable for a 4 star hotel. Enjoy!

At first glance its a really nice Hotel for the price I managed to get it for and it pretty much lived up to that right the way through. It is a small distance away from the major attractions (it is near the Vatican) but the bus is very near and easy to use. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. We had a 2BR suite with balcony, overlooking the quaint Roma(ntic) neighborhood. In addition to the free breakfast in the dining room before we set out to tour Rome, we went to the grocery around the corner for a couple bottles of wine, some cheese, crackers, olives and fruit for an evening snack on the rooftop terrace. We stayed in this hotel not too far from Vatican. The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Transport links are excellent and the hotel is good value for money. You can reach this hotel by train from Airport saving lot of taxi money. We took a one week public transport pass that is valid on metro, train and bus in Rome. The hotel provides […] unlimited breakfast 'continental' but we managed lunch and dinners from local takeaway (5 minutes by walk) and city restaurants. I strongly recommend this hotel. the hotel was quite nice with respect to service, cleanliness, etc. The rooms are clean and nice, though a bit smaller than what you see online. The only major drawback is the location since there's not much to do in the immediate neighborhood. Its a 20 min walk to the vatican and the bus-stop and train station are less than a minute away. After spending time in Rome, not sure weather you would find better for the money but give it a shot. Room was small, the toilet barely flushed, bed was rock hard(like the rest of Italian beds)Not sure one can do better in Rome for the price as I'm sure alot of places have plumbing issues there. That being said, it's pretty close to Vatican city. Lobby […] is nice and clean, so was the room. Do yourself a favor and skip the free breakfast. I tried everything and it was terrible. We had a great stay at the Azzi. The room was pretty small but you can get an upgrade room. good aircon and shower. Service was excellent with very kind staff. Place was very clean. Location excellent. Highly recommend.

good if you're pretty self-sufficient Pro's: - Room was very good. A lot of room considering the european standard. - Has a small but workable swimming pool (kid sized, not lap size). small workout room with about 6 machines. - Location was pretty good. not in the center of everything, but 20 minute walk from the vatican museum. it's right beside one […] of the train lines and by the 990 bus line. - free internet. con's: service was pretty poor. - no ice machine. get it from the bar, which is open from about 7pm-12pm. and then in small bowls. - shuttle service has room fro about 6 people only. essentially it's always booked unless you plan several days in advanced. - shuttle to airport only 3x / day. - service folks are minimally helpful at best. giving poor/incomplete/wrong information at worst. other: - breakfast was included. was a small selection. only eggs and bacon were hot. everything else was cold stuff. We stayed only one night after our cruise. It was a lovely hotel and provided four single beds for my husband and me and our two grandsons. The beds were harder than we are used to, but not so much that we couldn't sleep. This is a beautiful hotel that more than met our expectations and the complimentary breakfast was fabulous. It was difficult to get […] to the city center on the metro, so if you are staying for some time and want to see the sights of Rome, this might not be a good location unless you use a taxi which can get to be quite expensive. The hotel does have a shuttle (not free) but doesn't run often or late. Since most hotels in Rome are equipped for only two guests, this was a great choice for us. "Lovely hotel"
The hotel, when travelling from airport, seemed quite far out but once we got used to the train times/bus we realised we were actually quite near everything! The receptionist working when we arrived was very friendly, and we had no trouble with any of the staff when we were there. The restaurant isn't great we ate out most nights, breakfast was lovely […] though a nice choice -- something for everyone. This was a very nice hotel, worth returning to. They had a fabulous courtesy breakfast buffet. It is in a residential neighborhood that doesn't look so good, but was no threat. "Extremely good value for the money"
Great hotel, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and very good staff. Only downside is that it's a bit far from the center of town BUT it's well within walking distance to the Roma Metro or the FR3 train.

This hotel is close by to ther vatician city and other areas. Just five minutes away to train station and bus goes in front of the hotel.
