Used this hotel to break a journey north. not far from M1 so very convenient. Staff welcomming and room very comfortable. Would use it again without hesitation

The hotel is correct, all basic you need you'll have, but no extra services. The location is in the motorway, so you should take the correct direction unless you want to spend a lot of time turning mad to find the hotel. We arrived late in the evening and received a warm welcome from the lady on reception. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well stocked with towels , liquid soap and shampoo. Although we were at the front of the building, there was almost no noise at all from the road (it's just off the A50). In the morning we had breakfast in the […] small services adjoining the Days Inn, also owned by Welcome Break. We have stayed here before at the weekend and the breakfast is always excellent, the staff friendly and very helpful - and we weren't disappointed this time. i would not recommend this hotel. it was used for a visit down to alton towers. the room was horrible and unclean and we were due to stay 3 nights so after the first night we had to re book another hotel.

This is a budget hotel but I don't understand why there are no over sheets on the beds - just a duvet with a cover. Are the duvet covers changed each day? Anyway, it's disconcerting. I would prefer a good old fashioned oversheet.

Got sent a ludicrously expensive parking excess charge ticket in very intimidating language due to an error with the hotel. Parking is free. Then got a second equally unpleasant reminder. Ended up having to ring hotel twice to sort it. Hotel was extremely good value and staff are excellent. Although first room was rejected by me since it stank of dampness. We arrived fairly late, but we were met by very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable with plenty of room for both adults along with two teenage girls. The 24 hr bar also helps along with the fee wi fi. Would definately stay here again.

The hotel has good parking and is conveniently adjoined to a petrol station. The staff were extremely polite, well trained and professional. I felt throughout my whole 3 nights stay with my partner and children that no matter what I asked for the staff would be able to assist without too much effort. I booked this hotel as a 1 night stop over prior to an early departure from East Midlands Airport. I thought, as the hotel was only 5 miles from the airport, they would have an airport shuttle bus at a nominal rate. Unfortunately not. I was told they could order us a taxi or I could order my own, and was then handed a business card for a local taxi […] company .I ordered the taxi for 4am. The driver arrived early and was helpful and very pleasant. The 5 mile journey however cost £17. Had I known this in advance I think I would have chosen an hotel on site Læs mere

Hotel was very well priced. Service was excellent. room was a good size and comfortable. The attached shop is a great advantage as it has most anything you may need at any hour. Oh and 24 hour bar certainly helps too!
