"Less than impressed"
The bathroom was not clean , there was. Black mold on the shower and the safety lock was broken , on my second day of being there I had to request towels and maid service and that was at 130 in the afternoon . I've stayed many times at this particular hotel and I have to say the high light was my dinner at the bar on Friday ...

Our family stayed at the Embassy Suites on Good Friday. Even though the hotel was packed we had wonderful service. Their breakfast was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Frequent Visitor"
I have stayed at this location twice in the past month and would reccomend it to anyone.
Excellent stay! It was a little loud due to an event going on, but we are night owls so it didn't bother us too much. My only suggestion would be that since the swimming pool is open until midnight, between ten and twelve at night should be adult swim (over 18) only. We have been to hotels, other Embassy Suites actually, that offer this and it was wonderful. Everyone and everything about this hotel was awesome. The kids absolutely loved the pool, hot tub, the free billiards tables and the pop and munchies at the managers reception. The adults absolutely loved the managers cocktail hour/party, the beds were so comfortable, the room was clean and huge, the location was close to everything. "Great Location: Embassy Suites Independence, OH"
Great location no matter where your Cleveland business or pleasure takes you. Everything just fine. Breakfast is exceptional. There were a bunch of hockey kids there when we were and some 10-year-olds (no adult supervisors) set up hockey nets and started a noisy game outside our room at 11:30 p.m. When I came out of my room and pointed out this wasn't […] the proper time or place for such entertainment, they apologized and left immediately. "BAD BAD BAD"
We've stayed in quite a few Embassy Suites but never in this one again. Checked in on Sunday afternoon and hotel was extremely dirty. Room was ok - nothing special. Was short a remote so asked for another one. Took over an hour - maybe 12 rooms were booked for the night. Could easily have just gone into another room and gotten one. Seemed really short-staffed. […] Wanted a bacon omlette for breakfast. Bacon in line was out so went over to self-serve line and put bacon in bowl. When given to the chef (when he finally showed up - 7 or 8 minutes later) he told me I would need to cut the bacon into smaller pieces so he could use it.. Pool had a film on floating on top. Whirpool jets didn't work. When checking out, I was trying to push the luggage cart back up to the hotel from parking lot in on a very windy morning. A worker was washing the windows on the van and just let me struggle by myself. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Læs mere

We got the deal on this website, and once we arrived at the hotels they made us pay the difference. Once in the room I checked under the bed skirt and there were smashed crackers, chocolates, and even bacon. No telling how old it was. "Booked beyond capacity"
I dont mind that a hotel is doing good business but this was rediculious. They had a bunch of kids hockey teams booked in the hotel where they probably had at least 6 to 8 people in each room. Their were kids running up and down the halls until late at night. The indoor pool was so packed there was hardly any room to breath. You literally had to wait […] 10 minutes to get an elevator and most of the time it was packed with kids. If you took the stairs to get down to the first floor you had to exit outside and come around the front doors to come back in. They didnt set up enough tables for the breakfast buffett so you had a lot of people standing around waiting for a table to open up. The thing was they had plenty of space to set up tables to match the capacity of people they had and didnt. Also they had a big event going on that Saturday night on top of all the guests they actually had staying at the hotel. Cars were parked up and down the blvd and the guests were barely given any spaces to park. I've stayed at Embassy Suites for years on businees and never had such a horriffic stay. "winter break with grandkids"
great place for adults & kids. They have a happy hour that is free they give adults 2 drink voucers each and the kids can get there drinks at the breakfast soda area. The morning breakfast had everything you could possibably want or need. The pool was good and the hot tub was OK but it didn't bubble it was broke. Still very nice clean and empressive […] place. Our oldest grandson enjoyed the pool tables also free. He wasn't alowed in the excersize room though. "Never again at this Embassy Suites"
My family has stayed at this Embassy Suites at least 4 times on our trips back and forth between New Jersey and Illinois because of the location on our travel route and because normally we really like Embassy Suites. This time I booked there again with my two young children although I don't know why since my husband and I said the last two times that […] we would never stay there again. It was the worst stay of them all! When we arrived at 3:15 PM, we were told that our room wasn't cleaned yet and that there were four other reservations ahead of ours that were still waiting to get into their rooms first. After my exhausted kids and I waited 45 minutes, I went back to the desk to ask for a status and another woman immediately put us in an "upgraded" suite. Not sure what the upgrade was but it smelled like BO when we got in there. Also, as usual, this particular hotel was booked solid with some kind of hockey event and it was raucous and crazy all night. Every time we go there is some sort of huge event and every time it seems as if this hotel is completely unprepared to deal with it. My kids and I had a very difficult time trying to fall asleep because the loudspeaker from some event in one of the ball rooms was blaring all the way up into our 4th floor room until 11 PM. Around that time, the alarms were triggered...twice. We were told to evacuate and then the alarm was canceled. There were doors slamming all over the hotel which jolted me awake every few minutes. It was, as usual, nearly impossible to take advantage of the "managers reception" because there was only one bartender to serve a line of people around the side of the lobby. The service in the hotel restaurant was slow. I felt lucky to get someone to wait on us at all. In the morning, it feels like you are going to war in order to try and get some breakfast. It's always a mad house. To summarize, we get lousy sleep, lousy service and lousy meals at this Embassy Suites and we will not be staying there again. Læs mere

I have stayed at an Embassy Suites in the past and was very impressed. This trip was not so good. Maybe I picked a bad weekend. The hotel was packed with guests attending a hockey tournament, a convention and what looked like a wedding. Getting to your room was a challenge, we ended up like alot of others taking the stairs (thru the kitchen) to get […] to our room, Parking was awful, they had valet parking and we ended up trying to find a spot for overnight guests. Late Saturday evening we woke up with the fire alarm going off and ended up having to get to the lobby. Sunday wasn't much better, not much seating for breakfast so we skipped that and ended up taking our luggage down the stairs because the elevators were too busy. Læs mere

The room was clean the pool was very small there was no sauna it was ok we stayed on the 7th floor and there was some kind of party going on down stairs with loud music untill around 1 I dont think I would stay there again.

I was hesitant to spend Christmas at a hotel, but I was definitely impressed with the Embassy Rockside. The decorations and music were so beautiful. This location exceeded my expectations and I will be back next year!

"Excellent hotel for a low price."
The staff was very friendly & helpful. The free breakfast was awesome. We enjoyed walking through the atrium and playing pool after spending all day at University hospital with my daughter. And the king size bed was very comfortable and I find that most hotel beds are not. If I am ever back in the Cleveland area again I would stay there again.

Stayed here during 1st major snow storm ...Was perfect is all aspects .We saw a family of deer in the near fields ..Very quiet and off the beaten path and still has the quality of the Embassy name.Rooms were spacious ___Very clean....Staff was attentive and the atmosphere was great...Will go back again for sure

"not up to embassy suites standard"
This location was not up to par, of the two double beds one was weirdly bad, the springs being over responsive and setting up a wave action. The other was fine, butas the occupant of wonky bed it was a poor night's sleep. The decor was dated. This is a nice location but corporate needs to attend to this property.
"Great value, too many rowdy kids"
We stayed in the double room with the king size bed and a pullout couch, which worked out beautifully for our two small children. We really felt the hotel was great for the price and the manager's reception area was a very welcomed bonus. However there was a junior football team racing through the halls and yelling most of the evening which kept our […] younger preschool age children up all night. After we complained several times, we were told that until security arrived at 11pm there was nothing to be done. "READ-decent hotel but not quite embassy quality"
We have stayed in another embassy and this one was not quite the same quality. The lobby was nice but the rooms were a little dingy and smaller than other embassy suites. There were TONS of kids everywhere, we stayed 3 days and there was always approx. 50-75 kids. The pool was not overcrowded but it needs some updating too. The rooms all open to the […] middle, very unusual and this makes it very loud. They do have a curfew policy which allows it to be quiet at night. Nice breakfast buffet. We did enjoy our stay however if I have to pay too much I would probably prefer to just stay in a cheaper hotel or Embassy downtown cleveland. Of course this would depend on your cirumstances. "Emb Suites Cleveland Rockside"
Overall, a very pleasant stay, it was a clean and comfortable place to stay. It's one of those hotels with the big open atrium so the sound can travel, I had to close the bedroom door to turn in early in peace.
"Party in the middle"
Most things were satisfactory about the hotel except on my last night there. The central court had a large wedding with loud music playing after the ceremony. It's a good thing there was a seperate bedroom I could go into and close the door for the evening to get some quiet.
"Embassy Suites Cleveland Rockside--a nice place"
Five of us stayed for one night as a quick family get-away. The atmosphere with the large open lobby area make you feel like you're staying in a much more expensive place. The glass elevators were fun! We had a 2-room suite with a kitchenette. The only complaints are these: the sofa bed mattress was old and too uncomfortable for our son to sleep on […] so he slept on the sofa instead. The cooked-to-order breakfast provided plenty of food, but the line was incredibly long, so there was little to no chance of going back in line to get anything you forgot or wanted "seconds" of to eat, even though we got there before it was supposed to be their "rush hour" during the last hour of service. There was a very loud wedding reception in the lobby when we arrived, but in the back bedroom section we could not hear any noise. Overall it was a pleasant stay--the rooms are spacious, and it was nice to have a microwave, refrigerator and sink. We appreciated having a table in the room that we could sit around. The price was great too! We hope to go back to stay there if we want to go to other activities in the Cleveland area. Læs mere

A LOVELY HOTEL THAT IS QUITE NICE.tHE STAFF I FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL. THE POOL IS ALWAYS WARM CONSIDERING.tHE CONSTANT CONDERSATION MAKES ME WANT TO RETURN.

Went with a group and had two suites booked. The front desk did their best to get both rooms close together which was great! Toilet wouldn't flush in one room but maintenance was up immediately to fix it. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and complimentary breakfast was far better than we had expected. Would gladly stay here again!

everything about the hotel was exceptional,other than being separated from the rest of the hockey team when 18 rooms were blocked.i would like to suggest that security cuts a little slack with 2 hockey teams in the same hotel.put all the team on one floor and let them play mini sticks near their own elevator which will bother noone or give them a room […] to play in.boys will be boys and need somewhere to play.
