Super skønt hotel, hvor servicen er i top. Der skal betales ekstra for morgenmad, internet m.m. Til gengæld bliver morgenmaden serveret på værelset, hvis man ønsker det. Hotellet er under renovering. Eneste gene var dog, at poolen ogsåmvar under renovering. Det betød dog, at vi slap for udgift til morgenmad m.m. Udgift til parkering Skal dog lægges oveni. Området er virkelig skønt, og hotellet ligger perfekt. Vi kunne absolut godt forestille os at komme tilbage igen. Her falder man i søvn og vågner op til bølge skvulp.

Vi blev opgraderet gratis til en suite, som var rigtig fin, ren og rummelig. Vi valgte stedet pga afstanden til Dinseyland, ellers ville vi ha boet tættere på centrum. Det eneste minus ved stedet var, at det gratis internet desværre ikke virkede i de 5 dage vi var der:( Resten var tip top.

Super billigt hotel der ligger i gå afstend fra conventioncenter og Disney. Hyggeligt men ikke highclass. lille ren pool. Flinkt og hjælpsomt personale. Rent værelse med badeværelse med kar og bruser som virkede, god seng, TV, bord, køleskab, mikroovn og kaffemaskine. Morgenmaden er donots, danish og kaffe til afhentning i reseptionen - nemt men kedeligt.

Et billigt hotel i Gå afstand fra Disney Land. Rent, lidt slidt. Særdeles venlig betjening. Morgenmad er ok. Men lidt rigeligt med kager. Man får hvad man betaler for. Kan anbefales hvis man har brug for en seng at sove i og ikke stiller store krav til comfort.

Our refrigerator was broken or not plugged in and had a stale odor. Our "partial view" room had nothing to look at but the top of some metal roofs. "Pricey, But Nice"
Expensive, but nice rooms and extremely convenient to the park. Restaurants and pool close a little early, but there is 24 hour room service.

The Grand Californian is a very nice hotel, although I wouldn't consider it a luxurious one as you may expect. The rooms are fairly standard, definitely could use some updating. They are clean and well up kept though. The hotel is fairly large, so it does take a lot of walking to get to your rooms sometimes. "Grand Californian - on the grounds of Disneyland"
Great location. Room was clean, but dark. The check-in at the front desk was rather unorganized. And picking up our car at check-out was a complete disaster - the bell stand, valet parking and check out desk did not have their act together and we waited over 20 minutes during a quiet time of day for our car. In addition, there was a major hassle about […] checking out. We were automatically locked out of room at 11 am sharp though we called at 11:01 to try to arrange a slightly later checkout. That required a special trip to the Guest Services desk to get us back into the room - totally unnecesary and something that had never happened to me in all my years of business and personal travel. The breakfast buffet was expensive, but well worth it - with Disney "animals" roving throughout the restaurant. Our 8 year old boys loved it. The room was dated and dark and definitely needs refreshing. The best part of the stay was how close to the park it was. We could walk back and forth throughout the day to our room from the park and back - no hassle with remote parking. Læs mere

"Not sure if its worth the price"
We are longtime fans of the Disneyland Hotel but it needs updating so we tried the Grand Californian. Beautiful lobby and the grounds were really nice, with plenty of in-hotel activities for the kids. The room was very small and the "view" was questionable at best. That said, this hotel is REALLY expensive and in my opinion, not worth the price.

This hotel was located by the 2 parks.... with early entry in either park. The hotel is great, the staff very helpful. Loved that the housekeeping staff were very attentive to our likes. Absolutely a great place to be~!!

"Inferior room for the price"
We've always wanted to stay at the Grand Californian. We have stayed at the other 2 Disneyland hotels. While the lobby, location, service and food are impressive,... the size and layout of the room was disappointing for the price. Disney touts this as their 'top of the line hotel,' but once you enter the room, you don't get a "top of the line" feel. […] This room was much smaller than the rooms at the other 2 Disneyland hotels. While the location is extremely convenient, I would save the money and go with one of the other Disney hotels so you can have more room to stretch out and relax once in your room. Læs mere
"Great stay for visiting Disneyland, CA Adventure"
If you're a fan of Disneyland or California Adventure, you should stay here at least once in your life! It's pricey, but worth it. My fiancee and I did CA Adventure the first day, and the entrance is right at the hotel. When we were tired we just bought some take-out and went back to our room for lunch. It was so convenient! We luckily got a room in […] the main lobby area. Also on weekends guests of the hotel get the "Magic Mornings" and can enter Disneyland a full hour early! A great disney hotel right next to the parks. Disneyland is literally a 5 minute walk even with a stroller and california adventure is two minutes out the back door! You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Being able to go back to your room whenever you want is amazing and worth the money. The rooms are getting a little older but still nice. Our […] room had two full beds plus a day bed so it slept 5 people comfortably. They give you a pack and play for infants too. The room is not humongous but good size for a hotel room. The hotel is nice, very kid friendly, safe - lots of security. Only downside was one of the pools was closed that had the waterslides and even though I called ahead of time to ask if pools were heated they didn't tell me the one was closed. Our kids were very disappointed but it is Disney so lots of other stuff to do. The pool is supposed to reopen in March but didn't look close to being done at all! So if the waterslide is important you are going to want to call. The other 2 pools are still open though. Staff was great - very nice and knowledgeable. Not being able to order movies in your hotel room was also kind of strange!?! At the end of day just wanted to order a movie and wind down, but they do not have that option available. "Only Problem ?..... Could not stay Longer."
Has got to be the Most Soundproof Hotel my Wife and I have ever stayed in. Literally inside an amusement park, but once the doors and windows are closed ..... we heard nothing and slept as if in a coma. You also can not beat the look of the Grand Calif. .

Booking the room on Hotels.com was very easy. We had a great room and the hotel service was excellent. We were quickly checked in, which allowed us to get to having a great time.

"Location!"
The location of the hotel was perfect! It allowed us to go back and forth between parks with ease. Can't be beat! Service was great too. We were celebrating a bday and they gave us balloons, signed pictures, pins, etc. The rooms themselves were not very impressive. Nothing to write home about. On one occasion our bathroom door locked by itself in the […] morning hours and we couldn't use it. We had to call maintenance. They quickly resolved it but apparently this kind of thing where the door locks from the inside when u close the door all the way happens quite often. So be careful if u have little ones. We didn't. "Loud people. Next door"
We stayed at the grand California hotel, it's was not all it was cracked up to be. We had stayed there once before when it was a new hotel. We think that after awhile, they have now banned on the fact that they are located in the park and now don't have to work as hard to keep the Disney magic up. Being in the hotel is a convinance I will admit, but […] the hotel and some of the rude staff don't make up for it. We on top of that had very loud neighbors who after complaining twice to the front desk, we gave up because it was obvious nothing was going to be done about it. Overall I was pleased, but I was very disappointed when I went to bed for the night. The cover on the duvet separated to show the duvet inside. You could see blood spatter on it. I am guessing somebody had a blood nose at one time. I wish the hotel would have disposed of that blanket and used new clean ones. For what we paid, I am sure they could have […] afforded it. "Great place to stay!"
We loved everything about the Grand Californian. Beautiful room, excellent service, proximity to Disneyland. The only complaint we had was that the drain didn't work in the bath tub and wouldn't drain after the children's bath. We called the front desk and it was repaired within a half hour however.

Beautiful hotel, so very convenient for Disneyland visitors. Rooms are small for the price of the room. Great restaurant downstairs (Storytellers Cafe). Will always stay there when going to Disney.
"Greatly improved the Disney experience."
As a hotel guest we were allowed into Disneyland an hour earlier than the general public. We were able to walk on to 5 major attractions without waiting that normally would have taken most of a day standing in line. This alone was worth the additional expense of staying at one of the Disney Hotels. I was very disappointed in the condition of my room and suprised that its a four star hotel. Coffee table had old water stains and scuff marks. Wallpaper was splitting at the seams, carpet had minor stains, and the bathroom sink drains were dirty.

"Perfectly situated well-kept hotel"
Stickley furniture in the lobbies, piano, great bar, balconies, lovely toiletries, comfortable beds? Yes, PLEASE. Disney gets it right with this hotel with a private entrance into California Adventure! The service is impeccable, the pool is a blast. It's Disney for grownups and it's *fantastic*.

"Halloween at Disney"
My 8 year old son and I had an incredible time at Mickeys Halloween Adventure. We arrived at 1PM and waited to get into our room but they upgraded us to a room that was twice the normal size.

Love staying here. It's right amongst the Disney action, and you feel as though you're apart of all things Disney when you stay here. They have new better mattresses than when they first opened. Good job, Disney - great nights sleep! The grounds, construction, lobby, common areas are all really nice. However, they could have done a better job of making […] the rooms overall nicer or more in line with an expensive hotel per night stay. The room itself is clean but more like a standard room in a cheaper hotel. I guess they don't have to provide better rooms when they're providing location and style elsewhere. Will be back next year! "Beautiful hotel, excellent access to parks"
This is a beautiful hotel by any standard. Disney obviously put a lot of effort into the overall design motif - inside the rooms and throughout the public areas of the hotel. We had a single room with a king bed and a pullout couch. It was quite roomy and comfortable. It had a mini-fridge, which wasn't as useful as we would have liked, since there's […] no place within walking distance to buy groceries. The service was good (special kudos to the bell service - they did a great job storing and retrieving our luggage) and the room was kept reasonably clean. The only complaint I have is that the water-saving feature on the shower is a bit stingy. My husband and I prefer a stronger shower. Læs mere
