Best Western Envoy Inn - Atlantic City

Went just for a night with a few friends. We didnt expect anything great and were totally content with the hotel/our room. One long block away from the boardwalk and very close to the taj mahal and showboat. We did get heckled by men drinking on their balcony as we walked to the boardwalk at night, however.

The hotel is very nice - clean, comfortable, convenient to everything and very reasonable. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but just being aware of where you are going and who is around is enough to make you feel comfortable in the area. I would return!

Great staff and the room was very clean. Includes a microwave and fridge. You get more here than in DC. Close to everything. Pacific faces the back of the casinos but the Boardwalk is not far at all.

Good hotel, no problems, convenient area next to all the big hotels. Gambling and boardwalk only walk or bus ride away. Good hotel if your looking to get away for the weekend without spending big bucks at casino hotel

Overall, the hotel was adequate. The distance seemed farther than expected to the AC Convention Center (primary purpose of trip).

There was available parking and internet service. The hotel was in close proximity to Resorts and Trump Taj Mahal. Popa Pizza is across the street for pickup orders. The 7 eleven is also across the street.

Wasn't sure about staying here since there were some unfavorable reviews, but I wouldn't listen to any of them! This place was surprisingly nice! Rooms very clean and comfortable beds. Quite, great breakfast, nice staff. Plus close to boardwalk, Showboat, Trump, etc. We didn't want to pay the price of the expensive casinos and have to wait in their […] huge lines for check in so we tried this place. Itself the hotel which service are excellent, the location was kind of bad, too many homeless people, druggies and prostitutes.. That's Atlantic city what you expect!?! The bed was super hard like concrete floor.

The pictures shown are definitely not of this hotel. Hotel was in much need of updating. When we first checked in, 3 towels were dirty. The staff was friendly. It is located about a block from the boardwalk, however the street that you have to walk down is very shady. Also, the parking lot is way too small to accommodate the guests. The hotel is nice enough, but the area is not! We were met by some very shady people in the parking lot. The room was clean and so was the bathroom!!! I loved that the bathroom was cleaned, towels were stain free and there was no mold in the shower. The bed was clean too, the pillows didn't smell which was great. I checked the beds with a flashlight […] for bed bugs and there was none :) so I slept pretty well. Breakfast was good, there is a waffle maker. The thing that ruined it for me was the cockroach that jumped out of my wallet after I pulled it from the safe.... I made sure to shake off every item in my luggage outside when I got home. I understand that you can't control everything. You can find bugs anywhere. The maids do a great job at keeping it clean. Læs mere

Decent enough place and close to the casinos but the neighborhood was a bit sketchy with people hassling us for money, propositioning us for sex, and parties taking place in neighboring rooms until morning. The staff was good and extended our checkout time when asked without any trouble

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night (a Friday) - we didn't want anything expensive, just a place to sleep, and the hotel met those expectations. The room was clean and although the building was older, you could tell they had invested in some newer furnishings - a flat screen TV and a curved shower curtain - the smaller things help. Although we requested […] a non-smoking room, the room did smell of cigarrette smoke, and with the in-wall A/C unit, the room smelled musty. The walls are thin, and we were right next to the ice machine - bring ear plugs! The location was just a block off the boardwalk, but the area is seedy at night, like most of the other motels one block off the boardwalk. I was glad to see that they have video surveillance cameras throughout the building and especially in the parking lot, which is not gated off from the street. The breakfast is very basic - mini bagels and muffins, coffee and juice, cereal. We only needed a place to rest our heads and shower - didn't spend much time in the room itself, and it met those expectations. Staff were very nice. Læs mere

The hotel and the room were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close enough to the casino strip for a convenient walk, but not so close that noise and traffic were a problem. This is a good place to stay if your just there to sleep. It's your basic hotel. It's in a location with a lot of traffic so it gets noisy but tends to calm down around midnight. However, I wouldn't go walking by yourself at night around the hotel. The breakfast was ok, I've stayed in places where there was no breakfast so something is better than nothing. […] If your looking for a place to sleep in AC, then this could be for you. We were pleasantly suprised with the hotel overall condition/location/staff/ect....I even had a mix~up with the date of my stay and staff fixed it right away. Will definently recommend. We stayed for three nights.

Room was very clean with a microwave and small refrigerator. The breakfast area room was excellent with a large variety to choose. Next door is a 7-11 and many good bars nearby. Casinos are close as well. Would stay again.

Old, smelly, conveniently located and cheap. It is what it is; a Best Western in New Jersey, so don't expect anything "nice", per say. It's utilitarian with one elevator, stale smelling rooms expertly decorated with a faded pastel green everything.

Easy walk to Taj Mahal, Bally's and Boardwalk. Definitely get what you pay for - not flashy like many of the other hotels in the area. Basic fitness room, basic breakfast, basic rooms but everything was clean and up to par for people not looking to spend $$$ on hotel.

This is a simple hotel. For a short stay it was fine. It's close to the Boardwalk and many casinos. I wouldn't walk around the neighborhood at night, though.

We stayed in room 220..the room was big, had a fridge and microwave, great king bed with 5 pillows, lots of hot water with good pressure. This hotel in about 2 blocks away from the boardwalk right near the Resorts Casino and right next to a 7-11 for quick drinks and snacks. Some of other reviews talked about the location being shady..UMM..this is atlantic […] city..except right on the boardwalk and by the outlet malls MOST of Atlantic city is shady. We walked around no problems both on the boardwalk and the streets even at night. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and this was the best so far. Bonus..breakfast was good.. typical cereals, muffins, bagels, fruit and even homeade waffles somedays. Læs mere

Went to see a show at Trump's Taj Majal. I was not paying $300.00 plus to stay overnight. Stayed here. A quarter mile walk along the Boardwalk to Trump's. Room was big and clean. King size bed, two end tables, color cable tv, desk, large table, 3 chairs, microwave and a mid sized refrigator rounded out the room. There is a 7-11 and a liquor store across […] the street to fill the fridge with your favorite beverages. Free breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00am. Juice, fresh coffee, fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, bread and a waffle maker avaiable. No complaints. Læs mere
