The hotel was in a good location close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself was good quality, clean and comfortable. My only issue or complaint was that the TV in our room was a CRT tube type (not a flat screen) and was small. However, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I found the decor very nice, so many hotels are boring and bland. The red colour on the feature wall and furnishings was quite nice. My only "complaint" would be that I had to stand outside in the hall to download a program, Wi-Fi was very sporatic to unavailable in room 101. Otherwise, great and comfortable stay. I will and have already recommended […] it to others travelling to Calgary in the future. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were wonderful. I loved the fact that Tim Hortons was next door too. The free hotel shuttle not only to and from the Airport, but also to my business meeting was very nice as well as the complimentary breakfast and dinner! Læs mere

1st. night- even with heat off room was unbearably hot. tried turning on A/C and mechanical noise from the in the room H/VAC was unbearable. Also there was a loud howling wind noise in the room and in the halls. We moved rooms the next day and thought it was okay but the same problems arose through the night. The third night was somewhat better. I feel […] these problems are the result of reactive maintenance rather than proactive maintenance. I specifically asked for a hotel with a shuttle bus that was close to the airport and got neither. Technically, they do have limited shuttle availability. But standing beside happy travellers ready to be whisked away in shuttle busses to Holiday Inn, Best Western and several other hotels at 10:40 pm, I was told that I was sweet outta luck when I called. […] They didn't run shuttles to an airport that was still teaming with deplaned passengers. The information person at the exit doors thought I had been misinformed by the hotel since there were so many other shuttles running. I was frustrated by this but I took consolation that the "Lakeview Signature Inn Calgary Airport" must at least be close. A $34 taxi ride proved otherwise. The cab driver informed me that he always gets complaints of how far away this hotel is from the passengers that he drops off here. The cab driver opined that he thought it was false advertising. When I raised my concerns to the manager, he dusted me off saying that I should've checked the shuttle details more closely... like I have time to do that for every hotel I book. It was also his opinion that $34 cab fare is close. If you're visiting Calgary for a few days, this hotel is fine. Clean and front staff was friendly and a pretty good breakfast actually. But if you want to book something convenient to the airport, book elsewhere. Læs mere

Overall this hotel was just okay. We started off on the wrong foot when our room wasn't ready at check-in. We also found the beds to be uncomfortable and were disappointed that the pool was so cold. The food was alright and the staff were courteous. Next time I would try somewhere else.

We thought our stay was great. We had the studio room before our departure to Spain. Our car stayed at the hotel and the shuttle picked us up after a long long flight back due 6 hours later than expected. We desperatley needed a room to sleep as we were up for 24 hours prior. We had a lovely suite and wished we could stay longer to use it. Our stay was just a quick overnight at both ends of our vacation. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and well supplied.

We booked because of the "free breakfast" and "airport shuttle".. This couldn't be more misleading. First of all, the shuttle only runs during certain times and only once per hour. When we arrived in Calgary, we had to take a $45 cab to the hotel, because it was outside of shuttle hours at 11pm. The next morning, we had to take the 6:30am shuttle because […] the time we wanted to head to the airport (just after 7:00am) was not an option. Since we had to leave at the earlier time, we also had to forfeit our breakfast for an expensive one at the airport. If the customer service had been OK, we could have overlooked the rest, but the concierge was so rude and unempathetic to us. He just kept repeating the hotel policy like a parrot, it was like he wasn't even listening to us! When I asked for the manager he laughed at me and said the manager wasn't on duty. This was a really great hotel. The staff made us feel so welcome, like they were actually happy to see us. The room was great, not huge but quite comfortable. Nicely decorated and clean. My children loved the pool, I loved the hot tub. There was a hockey team staying there at the same time, this worried me a little bit because of how loud it can get. […] Their was no need to worry, inside our room we couldnt hear a thing.The breakfast was the best one that I have been to. The staff at this hotel were awesome, they were always smiling and greeting you and trying to make your stay the best it can be. They provide 24 hour complimentary fruit and cookies, which was nice upon our arrival since It was quite late when we checked in. They provide a complimentary continental breakfast which is fantastic. The gal that was working […] this area was so nice and always trying to accommodate us every morning that we had breakfast, she is a treasure. They also serve complimentary snacks and complimentary lunches on certain days. The seating in the breakfast area is huge with some couches and a large tv and the seating area is open 24 hours, this was awesome especially if you wanted to do some visiting outside of your room. If you forgot to bring anything they definitely would have it. Everything was so clean. I cannot say enough about the quality of this hotel. Except for missing a valet they should be considered a five star hotel. We stayed for three nights and we were so impressed that we had to meet the manager to tell him how pleased we were with the facilities. They even have an outside bbq if you want to bbq in the summer. We will always stay here when we go to Calgary from now on. This really is an amazing place to stay, you will definitely get your money's worth and more!!! Læs mere

we stayed here a few years ago. Its like a miniature apartment. Room for grandkids to visit and out of the rush yet near enough to airport and shopping.

This hotel was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in for over a year... spotless. The unit I stayed in had a TV in each room and a gas fireplace in the livingroom. Amenities include a fitness centre and pool (outside sports as well in summer). Friendly staff and a little on-site market with snacks, etc. but if you need milk, liquor, wine, etc. shop at […] the Mac's or liquor store at the airport before boarding the shuttle. Good, hourly-scheduled shuttle to the airport. Get directions from Information to the shuttle stop at the airport - because of the construction at the airport (to 2013) the ride to the hotel is 25 minutes instead of 5 so leave time. Læs mere

This hotel has always been great but this stay was very disappointing. The room fridge was so noisy that could not sleep without unplugging the fridge. Although the room was cleaned each day the shampoo and popcorn was not provided and with two people in the room and the price of the room, you would think they would provide shampoo without asking. Close to airport, free shuttle. The drive on our return was most helpful and courteous. Very good breakfst provided--- good selection. . Nice surroundings. The Room was a suite with kitchen which was a surprise. Ample space. The bed--- not as comfortable as it should have been. It felt like a double when I think it was a queen size bed. Close to some […] restaurants-- Chilis and Tim Hortons. Noticed several BBQs available in the courtyard . Happy to have internet available for e-mails etc. Good family hotel. A negative: I expected 2 free weeks for leaving our car when we booked an overnight at each end of our 6 weeks away. We only received one week free but -- did have a good daily/ weekly rate which was better than the Cark park or Park and Fly etc. All in all - a good experience. Læs mere

This hotel is very nice. Not a place for a peaceful rest though. Walls are pretty thin as we could hear our neighbors inside and outside of their room. We could here constant slamming of doors & kids running through the halls until late at night.

Stayed two nights for business. Hotel is good, fast internet connection. The airport shuttle is difficult, you have to call ahead when you arrive at the airport, so that they come to get you. They told me it might take 45 minutes until someone comes, so I took a cab. That cost me $35 CAD. The morning I left, the hotel shuttle left at 6:30 and 8:30, […] but not in between these times! I wouldn't go there again without renting my own car. Recently took a 3 day trip to Calgary to do some "Royalty watching" and check out the Stampede. The Lakeview Suites is a nice hotel with full kitchens, nice pool and great breakfast buffet. We didn't get a car, so the hotel van kindly took us to the "C-train", the local transit ,when requested. Would also pick us up on the return when phoned, once we […] had the correct phone number to use,(were given an old number at first and its a long walk back) The folks working there did their jobs well, just not a lot of enthusiasm . Its shuttle from the airport was slow , but a lot of road work was being done. If you're visiting downtown, a hotel closer might be better. It's in an industrial/business area with an A & W, a Tim Horton;s, and a Cactus club restaurant next door. Læs mere

This is a former Is a former residence inn and I generally like those. The recommendation is because it is good value for money compared to some other choices in Calgary. Why downtown Calgary hotels are so expensive I'll never know. The staff was very nice. I checked in very late and the TV in my room was making a buzzing sound, so the staff moved me […] to a 2 bedroom suite that was very nice. The decor is aging, but still works. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast is really not very good. Scrambled eggs are made from something other than fresh eggs. Pancakes were inedible and the waffles not great.
