Loved it. Room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent. Best free breakfast I have had. Will make sure to look for Holiday Inn Express in the future for those two reasons. Spotless room and great free breakfast!

The Holiday Inn Express in Braintree, MA is a horrible hotel with awful customer service.. I walked into my room and immediately noticed it smelled like smoke. I was exhausted from traveling all day so just went to bed. The next morning, I went to take a shower and there was ZERO hot water. I tried every angle, turned it off and on again a few times […] and I could still only get cold water no matter what I did. Checking out, I complained to the front desk and the lady there "Natasha" was absolutely no help at all and rather rude. I told her the problems and she just wrote something down and then looked at me wondering why I was still there. No apology, no sorry, nothing. Said I wanted a refund or free nights...SOMETHING and she just told me she couldn't do that. I told her I wanted to speak with a manager and she said there was no manager there (very convenient). I did get a call from a manager 6 hours later (Cunall) and he said the hot water "worked fine". Kind of an insult to my intelligence when you think I don't know how to work a shower properly. I tried every possible way to get the shower to work and IT DIDN'T. Stay somewhere else, don't waste your money. Læs mere

Staff was exceptional. Room fridge did not work but was promptly replaced with working fridge. Great breakfast. Very clean and up to date for a hotel of this price range. Convenient to Boston. Would stay again.

The lobby and room itself were very clean. However, when I arrived, the staff was cleaning some rooms down the hall where guests had been smoking so the entire hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. Good and clean room. Friendly hotel staff. Free wifi parking and breakfast are great to have. Washroom was a bit small - no other criticism really. Great for the price.

I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and never aent back or recommended to anyone, and went back this time because it was the only available in the area. The floor plan was refurbished but poor quality and customer service has not changed since 5 years ago. The price was $45-50 more than the hotels in the area. Wow !!! wasn't expecting the surcharge for parking to get into Boston, but the hotel was nice. Oh, and there was no choice of where to eat an evening meal without driving somewhere...

We stayed hear based on the Holiday Inn Express experiences we have had in the past. The free parking, wifi, and breakfast were also deciding factors when comparing to other hotels. The nightly rate was slightly more then a closer location, but when you add the savings for those three things, it worked out to be a much more affordable option. The hotel […] was clean and the staff were friendly. There is not restaurant on site, but they have takeout menus for a few delivery places. There isn't a restaurant in the immediate vicinity either. The Thai restaurant that they have a menu for is delightful though. The tropical chicken is a great dinner. The breakfast was the standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast, with processed cheese omelets( or scrambled eggs), hard boiled eggs, hashbrowns or grits, bacon (or sausage patties), cinnamon buns, and a automatic pancake machine. Everything about our stay was average. There was nothing wrong with the hotel what so ever, but we have stayed in some of the surrounding hotels on that same strip of road and for the price the other places seemed to offer a lot more. Hotel is close to the Quincy Adams Transit Station. Hotel offers Shuttle service to and from the station which is nice. The free breakfast is good also. They only have 1 washer and 1 dryer however for the entire Hotel which is odd as the Hotel has over 100 rooms. We were travelling with friends and were not able to do our laundry at the same time, a […] little inconvenient. The rooms are a little pricey. You really need a car, the hotel is not close to much of interest and not really close to the MBTA trains. The hotel shuttle can take you to the train station so you can get into Boston and to other places but they only run during the day. We had a king size bed ..but only regular pillows. plus the pillows were to soft. Also there was a tour bus that was leaving in the morning and they took all the tables and ate all the food. My friend and I had to go out to breakfast before we got on plane.

The location in Braintree worked well for us as we were visiting family in Quincy which is very short on hotels. The hotel was clean and quiet and the beds and pillows were fine. Arrived late and left early on a recent one-night stay. Hotel was convenient to the highway. Quick check-in - with no hassle. Although property is a little older - everything was clean and in working order with the room. Breakfast was quick and convenient.

The hotel was very clean, but the hallways on the second floor smelled bad, like a mixture of smoke and chemicals. Also, the rooms are not very soundproof. Conversations and televisions happening in rooms next to mine were muffled but audible.

This was a goo find to break up the long ride in a single day. The continental breakfast is always a hit. Been to these before and would do this again.

The price was right and the location was convenient for travelling into Boston (T) or making your way to Gillette Stadium. The hotel was very clean, the staff was more than friendly and professional, and hot/cold breakfast was included.

VERY COURTEOUS DESK STAFF AND MANAGEMENT . SMALL BATHROOM, BUT CLEANING GIRLS WERE VERY QUIET AND VERY HELPFUL. IF YOU LIKE PEACE AND QUIET THIS PLACE IS GREAT ! WANTED TO STAY OUT OF THE NOTORIOUS NEIGHBORHOOD HOTELS WITH THEIR RUDE HELP, AROUND BOSTON, SO FOR THE PRICE THIS AREA AND THE HOTEL WAS JUST FINE .WILL STAY THERE AGAIN.

The stay was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very pleasant, friendly, and helpful to provide me with directions. The hotel location was difficult to find in the dark since you can't see it from the main road and no signs to point people in the right direction. The road sign is small and difficult to see at night.

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean but need updating. We spent two nights at this hotel. The staff was very nice. The only thing was you had to go to the first floor to get ice. they don't have an ice machine on every floor. But of course this isn't the end of the world. We enjoyed our stay.

Booked the hotel as part of a round trip. Nice hotel, good quality, easy and quick to reach downtown Boston (15min) - when not travelling in rush-hours. Can recomend!

Pretty good place to stay in a convenient location. Rates jump up on weekdays which is a negative for non business travelers. Breakfast is probably on the better side.

There's was no cooling in the room, either the unit was working properly or there's a malfunction with unit. Also the internet was really really slow, couldn't able to do any work on due to slowness with internet. Also I don't what was in the bathroom, but I saw a little insect in the ground floor near the toilet on the tile near tub and toilet. Our room was nice & clean and we were only staying overnight , so i was pleased. The breakfast was great for a such a small hotel, many choices and everything was fresh ! Our best experience was the receptionist. Very friendly, professional and helped us with locating restaurants in the area. I would say she is a benefit to your hotel. After working hard all day was nice to see a friendly, smiling face!!!!
