Vi var på vej videre så dette var blot et stop på vejen. Men Monterey er bestemt et besøg værd. Monterey Bay Travelodge er super til prisen, og fint til en enkelt overnatning.

Only spent a couple of nights at the hotel, but was recieved by friendly staff and felt welcome. Location is excellent, and I liked the Victoriann-style deco of the place. The breakfast was fine, although the coffee was thin.

"Wonderful experience"
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Beautiful salt water fish tank in the lobby.
A little hard to find. small sign on south side of rd. Nice place and they gave us a bigger room with the 2 kids. Good food options and easy drive up and down the bay.
Friendly staff and clean. Breakfast convenient but not very satisfying. Quality of food could have been better. I would stay here again.

"Perfect for the family"
We booked a last minute overnight family getaway just to get out of town and stay close to the coast. This hotel had everything we were looking for-especially an indoor heated pool (and spa). The pool was nice and warm and the kids (12, 9, and 3) all had a blast. With a fridge and microwave + lots of grocery stores closeby, the room became our home […] away from home instantly. The separate living room gave us more space and we got comfortable right away. The beds were comfortable, the view from our window was pretty, and the staff was very pleasant. We slept in too late and missed what would have looked like a good complimentary breakfast, but we found a nice bagel shop across the street. We saved a lot staying here considering all the amenities the hotel had to offer, and it was only 20min away from Monterey. We'll definitely do this again. Læs mere

"Great place for families."
My family loved swimming in the indoor pool. The breakfast was good, nice to have so many choices. Location is perfect for going to Santa Cruz and Monterey.

"Great value!"
This is the second time we stayed at a HI Express and we are very impressed with the quality of these hotels and their affordability. The hotel in Watsonville is fairly new and it was located at the end of a street off Main Street. The breakfast had a good variety of choices including fresh fruits. I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. We stayed for a basketball tournament just one night. When we got up to our room, the phone rang and it was the front desk asking if everything was good with the service at the front desk as well as with our room...I have stayed at Hilton's and never had that service. "great value for the rice"
I would definitely recommend this hotel. The service is good, the breakfast is great...it is a FULL meal, not just packaged rolls etc. Nice, clean indoor pool is a big hit with the kids. It is centrally located between Santa Cruz and Monterey so it is a great location. I highly recommend this place!

Our stay was very pleasant, clean rooms, linens fresh and clean. My kids were very happy with the indoor heated pool. The added bonus was the breakfast buffet, this also saved us money. We will recommend this hotel to everyone we know.

"outdated but nice staff"
the hotel was outdated but the staff was friendly. The lady who ran the breakfast stayed on it, the pool is great, the beds are comfy and the area has lots of food and gas around it.

Thehotel was perfect for our family i would stay There again if i come back to the area. One fault i found is i stayed in suite room and the ac avalible in the bedroom not on the seperate living space and it was HOT

"Holiday Inn Watsonville - Clean & Comfortable"
We thought the hotel was very comfortable for the money. It had a nice pool and hot tub which seemed well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of foods which were presented in a clean environment. All-in-all a good experience for our 1- night stay with our 2 teen daughters...

Hotel was nice and room comfort was ok. But the layout was not the best. The bedroom opened directly into the bathroom area with no door except for toilet and shower. "Quiet hotel"
We reserved two rooms and stayed one night and both rooms were nice, clean room. Quiet hotel room you cannot hear your neighbors. Indoor pool was nice for the kids to swim in at night. Clean facilities. Close to dining and stores. Surrounding area is family friendly. I would recommend this hotel!

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. We wanted to take our three grandsons to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the area beaches and I chose this hotel because it has an indoor pool and the price for our family was reasonable. The normal summertime weather pattern there is cool and foggy in the morning until about noon and the fog usually returns […] about 6 PM. We attended my granddaughter's graduation at UC Santa Cruz. We were about 15 minutes from Santa Cruz and our hotel rate was much less than anything we could find in Santa Cruz. I recommend the hotel highly. The rooms were large with a refrigerator, microwave, sink and cupboards. My grandsons enjoyed the indoor pool and spa and we all enjoyed the free […] breakfast. "Holiday Inn Express Watsonville -A Pleasant Hotel"
We were a family of four staying on Memorial weekend. We arrived around 5:00 or so. I was the only one checking in at the time, so the process was quick and painless. Reservation was comleted on line. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the West, so we were offered a good view during the evening. We paid a bit more per night for the bedroom with separate […] living area. The kids decided they wanted to sleep on the pull out sofa, so my wife and I ended up with our own beds. The bedding was clean and comfortable with four pillows on each bed. The bathroom seemed a bit larger in size with the usual amenities, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you've forgot one of your basics, they'll bring a complimary for you..(toothbrush, shaving items and such). The kitchenette has a small sink, small refer, and a microwave. There was even some foam plates and utencils that likely someone left behind that actually came in handy for us. Coffe in room as well okay. We were next to the elevator, which at first I was worried about, but it turned out okay. In the earlier evening there was a few times when folks were loud coming out and down to their rooms, but it quieted down as the evening ran on. Parking was ample and safe. The kids used the pool for about an hour. Indoor, heated, and seemed quite clean. Breakfast was better on Sunday than Monday, but not really at any fault of the Hotel. Sunday morning offered scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bacon, a pancake making machine, a variety of bagels, small muffins, white and wheat bread to toast, jellies, cream cheese, four kinds of cereal, milk, apple, orange, mango juices, fruit consisted of apples, bananas, and oranges, a few different kinds of yogurt, coffee, tea, that about covers it. I felt this was an adequate offering. My wife prefers waffles as available at some of the other hotel chains, but she made it through just fine. Memorial day was a bit challenging.
