K&K Hotel George - London

Godt værelse, god morgenmad. Venlig og effektiv reception. Hyggeligt barområde. Aftensmad købt i baren, kunne være bedre, men omvendt hvad kan kan man forvente i denne situation. Tæt på Earls Court. Bestemt et hotel man vil tage tilbage til.

Skønt, familievenligt hotel. Intet negativt at sige. Vi havde en baby med og der var opstillet babyseng til ham da vi kom. Stort, lyst værelse på femte sal med udsigt til den dejlige have der hører til hotellet. Centralt hotel tæt på Earl's Court undergrundsstation. Her kommer vi helt sikkert igen.

Found the hotel based on the excellent reviews here on hotels.com & tripadvisor. It was a great hotel. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Free wifi. Great breakfast buffet with a huge varieties of food. Would stay here again, and would recommend anyday.

The Hotel and service was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely book it again. The only thing I was a bit unsatisfied with was the cleaning which wasn't very thorough. But this was minor.

Hotellet er meget fint, beliggende i Kensington (et meget 'posh' område i London) og det ligger komfortabelt tæt på Earls Court Station. Hotellet er flot indrettet, men K&K Hotels er en kæde der bruger de samme møbler over hele Europa. Jeg har boet på deres hoteller i både Prag og Wien, men på K&K Hotel George i London var værelserne meget små i forhold […] til møblerne, så det virkede meget presset. Standen af hotellet var upåklageligt, alt var nyt of velholdt. Hotellet har ikke nogen rampe til kufferter når man ankommer og rejser, hvilket kan være omstændigt. Vi ankom på hotellet sent om aftenen og receptionisterne tjekkede os ind uden problemer, men de viste os ikke op til værelset, de hjalp os ikke med kufferterne, de fortalte os ikke engang hvilken etage vores værelse lå på, og var i det hele taget mest interesserede i at sidde i receptionen og slappe af. Alle andre ansatte på hotellet var yderst venlige, morgenmaden var fantastisk. Der kan dog være kø til at få morgenmad hvis hotellet er fyldt, men det går hurtigt. Mht. rengøringen, så blev vores værelse vedligeholdt hver dag, men der blev slet ikke støvsuget. Der var ikke støvsuget da vi ankom, og det blev der heller ikke i vores 4 dages ophold, hvilket jeg ville forvente af et 4-stjernet hotel. Udover alt dette, så var vores ophold meget behageligt, men jeg tror dog at jeg vil prøve at se om jeg kan finde et andet hotel til en tilsvarende pris næste gang jeg kommer til London. Læs mere

Year after year this hotel has been my favorite hotel. No nickel and diming - even hotel long distance calls are fairly priced from the room. Makes everything so simple... Free internet - lovely breakfast - really a sensible approach to everything. Location is great - almost residential but right on top of the District and Picadilly Lines. Great hotel, friendly staff, nice and clean hotel, perfect location. Quiet surroundings. Breakfast was Hood. I can really recomend this hotel.

This boutique hotel is on a quiet street but only a block or two from a Metro, and a nearby street with restaurants and small shops, including a great grocery. The K&K group is designed for business travellers to have access to the world of the leisure traveller as well, so you get the best of both worlds. We have stayed with this Hotel Company in a number of eurpoean cities down the years, and on the basis of that experience chose to come to this hotel for the first time some years ago. We were not disappointed. In fact we would not consider staying anywhere else when visiting London, if possible. I've been to London a few times already, and this hotel takes the cake. Right around the corner from the Earl's Court tube stop (3 lines!) and a fun neighborhood, filled with pubs, cafes and groceries. Everything you could want. The hotel itself was fabulous - the staff was excellent, the room was great (except for the odd weird, half door of the bathtub, […] but whatevs), and the full breakfast was terrific. And the garden! The rooms are nice but seem overpriced for the location. It's not the greatest place to stay if you're going to visit alot of the main tourist attactions.

I wasn't too sure about this hotel as its own website was scarce on information and photos, but this is a boutique hotel gem. The rooms were small as expected in London, but very clean and newly remodeled with great service. And very close to the Tube. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable,and the shower was great. My husband and I fully enjoyed […] our stay in a great London neighborhood. As an added bonus, we booked a taxi through the hotel to Saint Pancras rail for 4:45 AM and there was a lovely Mercedes Benz awaiting us. Nice touch for early morning travel. Læs mere

We have stayed in this hotel before and were on that occasion very pleased. On this trip however we were placed in smoking rooms despite having a child with us and arriving at the hotel at 11.30am to check in! Our booking of 3 rooms had been made 6 months previously and the childs age had been given. Our stay was most uncomforatble as the bedding, curtains […] and carpets wreaked of smoke. We are all nonsmokers and one of our party s asthmatic.The hotel was full and the staff were reluctant to compensate us in any way at all.I The manager who offered to upgrade us on our next trip (lol) and laid the blame on the booking system!!! After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor I felt certain that the hotel would be good - the reality was that it was even better than I had anticipated. The location is ideal - close to the tube station and a pleasant walk to ensington and Knightsbridge if you don't mind a bit of a walk. The The breakfast is glorious (snf yes - champagne). I found the […] staff very helpful and pleasant. As it was early spring the garden was only coming in to bloom and I can imagine how lovely it must be in the summer. The bathroom was a tiny version of a real luxury bathroom. As I was travelling with my mom and sister - we booked a triple room. It was more than adequate in terms of space and would have been very comfortable had there only been two of us. The additional bed was comfortable and a queensize, which was nice (I didn't know what to expect in a triple room). The twin beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bedding and towels were all new and of a decent quality. Overall I will definitely make the K+K George my 'home away from home' in London. Picked this hotel for its location. Very close to Earls Court tube station. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was unlimited and included just about anything you could want, including champagne! Nice garden at back of hotel. Only downside was that we felt the beds were a bit too hard for us and had to request another […] pillow. Otherwise was a really pleasant stay. Læs mere

Only a minutes walk from Earls Court tube so its central and easy to get to.Reception staff told us everything we needed and were able to answer questions. Comfortable bed, bathroom very small but functional. All you need for a base for a weekend in London. Beautiful gardens too if you get the sunshine!

This hotel was the least expensive of all we stayed in (London, Dublin, Edinburgh) but was among the very best. I will keep this hotel and this company on my list for future travel plans. I have already recommended them. A block from the underground.

We were very impressed by the hotel and it's staff. The room was small but very contemporary, clean and comfortable. It had everything you could need for a stay in London. 少し中心から離れてますが地下鉄ZONE1圏内で 地下鉄一日券が6.50ポンド（PEAK HOUR)でとっても 便利でした。ホテルも清潔で中庭が素敵でした。 朝食ブッフェも内容は変わりませんがグットでした。 ただしサウナを利用するときは前もって店員に伝えておくべきかも。営業時間に暖まってなかったです。

Sehr gute Lage; wunderbarer Garten; sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet; sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis; perfekt !

Keine Zentrumslage aber mit der U-Bahn sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut erreichbar. Die U-Bahn Station liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Schöner Garten im Sommer. Ruhige Zimmer, kein Verkehrslärm.

Je ne peux que recommander cet Hôtel: a 2 pas du métro, environnement sympa, petit dej copieux... Peut être une chambre un peu petite, mais pour 3 jours de visites a Londres, cela ne pose pas de problème.

日本人も多く宿泊するようで、NHKを見ることができました。 部屋はきれいで、掃除も行き届いています。フロント応対もよく、円高の今だとコストパフォーマンスの高いホテルだと思います。駅からも３分程度です。 アールズコートは庶民の街なのか、気取った感じもなく、気に入っています。最近の宿泊はアールズコートばかりです。 あと、朝食もよいので、朝食付きプランをオススメしいます。ちなみに近所のマクドナルドも朝５時から営業しているので、そういうテもあります。 「アールズコート」という発音が難しく、タクシーで帰る時になかなかわかってもらえなかった…（笑）。

Earl' court駅から近く、スーパーもすぐ近くにたくさんあって便利だった。 Earl's court駅はヒースロー空港から階段なしで行ける駅なのですが、ホテルに入るのに何段かステップを上らないといけませんでした・・・。重たい荷物の女１人旅だとそれがちょっと残念でした。 駅から近いのですが、わかりやすい場所ではないので、行く前にしっかり地図で場所把握はしておいたほうが良いです。 サービスは、まぁ飛び抜けて良いわけではないけれど、十分満足です。

Das Hotel liegt praktisch sehr nah an der U-Bahn. Die direkte Umgebung ist allerdings nicht besonders spannend. Es ist schlicht und zweckmäßig gemacht. Der parkähnliche Garten ist an einem warmen Sommertag sehr erholsam nach dem Getrubel der Stadt. Das Zimmer zum Garten hin war sehr ruhig. Très chouette hôtel qui mérite bien ses 3 étoiles. Hôtel propre et bien situé. A proximité d'une chaussée principale où se trouvent pubs, restaurants, supermachés, ainsi que la station de métro (Earl's court) à 2 minutes de marche. La rue de l'hôtel est très tranquille et permet de faire le break après une journée dans Londres (et son agitation / animation). Très […] chouette jardin, paisible et tranquille. Petit déjeuner divin ! Le seul bémol, la taille des chambres. La nôtre n'était pas spacieuse du tout, mais après tout, ce n'est pas gênant puisqu'on partait le matin et rentrait le soir. Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur U-Bahn-Station. Es bietet ein internationales Frühstück und ist sehr zu empfehlen!

We had a very pleasant stay at K&K George in London. The hotel had great location. It was easy to reach any central locations from there. Service was great, and breakfast buffet fantastic. I can warmly recommend the hotel.

Buon Hotel con bel giardino da sfruttare per un drink e una lettura.Le camera al primo piano sul giardino purtroppo sono facilmente raggiungibile da odori della cucina o fumo di sigarette dal giardino. Ultima nota il bagno non è molto spazioso ma ben pulito e con ampia doccia. L'aria condizionata non è molto potente. Das Hotel mit seiner schönen Gartenanlage, der ruhigen Lage und dem gepflegten Zustand eignet sich bestens als Ausgangspunkt für London-Trips. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet gibt Kraft für den Tag. Ebenfalls sehr praktisch die Lage ganz in der Nähe der Underground Earl's Court.
