Fint hotel. Morgenmad ikke det bedste, men okay. Nogen afstand til seværdigheder, men nemt til bus og metro. Til prisen anbefalelsesværdigt.

Hvis du er den kræsne type og ønsker dig en luksuriøs ophold efter alle reglene,måske skal du søge andet sted - men Pineta Palace er hotel hvor du faktisk får vikelig meget for pengene! Meget venlig og hjælpsom staff i både reception og restaurant(congrats PP-team!) :man får med det samme et kort over Rom + tips til transport og besøgsværdige steder.Hvis […] i har i plan at besøge så meget som muligt,jeg vil anbefale at i tager et Rome-Pass(kan købes i hotelet) hvor for 30euro får 3 dage med fri transport+2 gratis adgang til musser,udstillinger,osv + reduceret pris på de andre steder der findes på listen (bemæk:Vatikanen er ikke på listen).Tilbage til Pineta Palace, det eneste lille "problem" er at hotelet ligger udenfor byens center og man er nød til at benyte transport for at come "downtown" .Det vil heller ikke være en problem hvis bus 94(som kommer tæt på hotelet og kører direkte til Vatican) vil komme mere ofte end den gjorte da vi var derned ( det var også ferie periode i Rom,metroet virkede ikke og skulle supleres med busser,så måske derfor var kaos i det offentlige transport). Men ellers,som sagt ,vi fik en god oplevelse hos Pineta Palace. PS. hvis i har lyst til en virkelig god kop espresso&americano&creamcaffe i området, jamen tæt på hotelet ligger en lille besked Mini Bar hvor i kan også prøve en fantastisk ginseng kafe for kun 1euro:) Læs mere

Vi havde 4 frygtelige nætter der var er forfærdeltlig larm fra gangene og værelserne omkring det var så lydt at man kunne høre naboer snorke, overboen gå med bard fødder over gulvet, skramlen med stole m.v.og selv hvad folk lavede på toilettet kunne vi høre føj så det vat ikke meget søvn vi fik på den tur vil aldrig nogensinde komme der mere.

My two children and I were in Rome in January and stayed at Pineta Palace. The first thing they did when we arrived were drawing on a map where the hotel was, where the closest bus stop was, metro and sightings. They were very friendly and told us everything we needed to know. Breakfast is included but it could have been better. Fruit was from cans, […] scrambled eggs were a bit wet and bacon wasn't fried totally, but the selection was okay for the price. The restaurant didn't open until 7pm and that isn't the best when traveling with children; maybe they could have a family hour from 5pm to 7pm and then for everyone else after 7pm? De taler fremragende engelsk i receptionen, og det første de gjorde da vi kom, var at give os et kort og tegne de busser på vi kunne tage ind til metroen. Meget nemt. Desværre skal man tage en bus og derefter en metro hver gang man skal videre, men det tager højst en halv time for transport, og det vænner man sig hurtigt til. 100 til 200 m fra hotellet er der busforbindelser til Battistina og Concordia metro st. og ca. 7-8 min. gang mod nord ad via Pinatta ligger regionaltogs stationen, så man kan være inde i midtbyen på under en halv time. Køb et 3 dages kort til 11 euro eller et 7 dages kort til 16 euro til metro, regionaltog, bus og sporvogn indenfor zone A, og du kommer […] vidt omkring, bl.a til Ostia antik og lido. Læs mere

Hotellet var rigtig lækkert, og receptionisterne var alle dygtige til engelsk og utrolig hjælpsomme, smilende og det samme gælder for hotellets øvrige personale, dog er de medarbejdere i restauranten ikke helt så gode til engelsk, men de gør et forsøg og er smilende! værelset blev gjordt rent hver dag, med nye håndklæder og sengetøj. desværre ligger […] det et godt stykke fra centrum, der er ca 100 m til nærmeste busstop, men der står ikke tidspunkter for hvornår bussen kører, så spørg i receptionen, og få evt den internetside hvor man kan tjekke bustiderne! :) men alt i alt et virkelig dejligt hotel, bare lidt synd det ligger i udkandten af byen!! :o) Læs mere

Hverken køkkenpersonale eller reception snakkede ordentligt engelsk. Dårligt fitness-center med 6 maskiner.... vi betalte ekstra for et altan med udsigt, og fik en altan med ulidelig larm fra et køleanlæg. Ligger tæt på buslinjer til metroen.

Stay was good. beds need upgrading. the cost for wi fi was too much it is $10 per person per device so if you have 2 cell phones and 1 laptop it cost $30 per 24 hrs that is way over the top.

overall a very average experience... Hotel is on Cosmos's tours as first hotel you stay in..disappointing for first impression of rome/Italy...too far from city.. no decent shops or restaurants in surrounding area..noisy rooms...cleaners were more friendly and smiling than the front line reception staff...would not stay there again.. :(

This hotel is a lovely place to stay. We found the language barrier no issue and each staff member were helpful and friendly. There is a walk to the bus stop which is quite easy to find. Be aware the bus gets very busy at times.

Staff were excellent and helpful, but I couldn't get past the condition of our room. Although I "think" it was clean, it is in dire need of a make over, particularly in the bathrooms. Although we didn't spend much time in the room, I would've preferred to spend the extra money and stay in a nicer hotel, because I felt like we were staying in a motel. […] Panelling was coming off, the ceiling in the shower was sinking, the shower head was difficult to keep secure so we had to hold it and the toilet water ran unless it was flushed just the right way. I know one day it ran all day, well at least from the time it was cleaned to until we got back to the room that evening and flushed it correctly. Better information and map need to be displayed on the internet for people trying to get to the hotel on public transport. Our room was very small and cramped considering the amount we paid. As we had to leave before breakfast was served, we asked for a breakfast box and it was pityful! NOT value for money.

It was decent but needs revamping the room size was very good fot two people sharing but they need to modernise this hotel badly. The location isnt great as its a good half an hour from the city centre, however, its a good location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This hotel was very disappointing for us, definitely not a 4 stars hotel!. it is pretty far from the city center, you have to use a bus which takes a lot of time waiting for in the bus station. The clerks in the reception desk are not welcoming, not nice, they do you a favor when they answer you. it feels like they are not so much into giving you a […] useful information as a tourist, unless the hotel can benefit from it in some way. we had to ask many times until we got an answer about a cheap normal way to get to the airport. they also charged us a "staying in rome" tax when we checked out from the hotel. it was not mentioned before at all, and then when we left we suddenly had to pay another 30 euros!! we would recommend you to find another hotel!!! The hotel is good, but the breakfast could be better. There were some weird juices, but no orange juice. The rooms are a bit old, but still nice. I would recommend it but be aware that you get to get buses to go to city center. Staff is friendly.

Although it was a bit of a trek to get to the hotel, the staff was wonderful and the fact that breakfast was included was also great. It is an older hotel but we were comfortable enough and felt safe on our 3 day trip. The Hotel Pineta Palace is in a safe suburb of Rome and is value-priced if you don't mind the inconvenience commuting by bus to downtown Rome (3 Euros round trip per person). A high caloric, hot and cold breakfast buffet is included with the room rate which is a plus. They have the best butter I've ever eaten in my life. This hotel seems to be ok. Most of the reception staff except Yasmin appear to be very indifferent. Treating customers according to the rooms status is very rude and they treat you differently if you book only a basic room. Shower area is too tiny & will not fit little big people. Hotel is quite certainly out of the way from most of the attractions […] in Rome and not close to any Metro stations. As already commented by someone else, we found that rooms have walls, roof and floors are so thin you can hear the noises of all sorts from other rooms which is very annoying. We were not very happy in this hotel; but for the money you pay, probably you get only this. It was astonishing how many groups of people came to this hotel! Very good Hotel for the price, the best thing is that has cover parking that is very important in Rome. The breakfast was very good and was easy to get to the center, in the reception will give you a map to show you where to get the bus that will leave you just in front of the Vatican city.

I enjoyed my stay in Rome.The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly.I thought the location of hotel is just a little too far away from main sights, so ia lot of time is spent travelling on local bus,The service of the local bus number 49 is good and very cheap so it can be a good opportunity to see other parts of the city

The Hotel's location is not good and difficult to access by public transport. The furnishings are tired and the breakfast is poor. The Hotel is not deserving of it's 4 Star rating.

The price was affordable. The breakfast was pleasant. The staff were not very friendly, but they were helpful. The area was calm. The Hotel is close to a convenience center and bus stop. We arrived the hotel about 10 o'clock in the morning, but we were allowed to check in early.

We found the hotel staff very helpful and friendly, particularly in the restaurant. The hotel is close enough to the City centre to travel in daily without any issues, the walk to the bus stop in the intense heat was the hardest bit! Don't be fooled by the complainers.... you get what you pay for... but in the case, the hotel is worth more than I paid. The staff are friendly, the hotel has a nice ambiance, and the area is quiet. yes you will need a car or bus/metro to get anywhere, but that is part of the fun. It was nice small hotel slightly out of town but no problem for the intrepid traveller prepared to travel on metro or buses for the experience of staying in a locality.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. At least 20minutes walk to any transport, with no shops in the area. The hotel staff are extremely rude and impatient. Not willing to help or give advice and want to charge extra for everything. Some staff want to charge for parking in the hotel car park, while others say it has always been free. The food choice […] for breakfast is very limited. In fact what they call a 'buffet' is a small table with 1 type of cheese which looks scary, bacon and ham, and a couple types of bread, and tea and coffee. No options, especially for a vegetarian. Room service staff barge into the room early morning while your in bed even though you haven't requested room service. The hotel was nice. Better than I had expected. However it was a long way from central Rome. On their site it said that they had a shuttle to take you into town. They did not. We spent a lot on cab fares. Otherwise it was good.

Slightly out of the city but on a great bus/metro system for only 1Euro for 75 mins travel on either/both with tickets available at reception. Location also means it is quiet at night!!! Really nice hotel, food great, staff were tolerant of our inability to speak Italian and all spoke good English! Will certainly return if ever back in Rome. However......be […] aware that the shared Shuttle bus took 2 & 1/2 hours from airport to hotel as the driver got lost and also stopped by the Police for being where he shouldn't be!! My wife and I stayed at Pineta Palace about a week, including Christmas and New Year. Overall, no major complaints, but no compliments either.

The staff was helpful and friendly and spoke good english.The room was not quite up to date and really noisy. I liked the fact tahat the hotel was quite far away from the attractions, so we got to experience the real Rome. Easy to get to by bus and train. Breakfast was nice, but not quite 4star

We were driving so needed a hotel with parking. Standard room required a E10 additional charge as did internet service. Room was clean, shuttle was convenient, breakfast was on par with others. Over all 2.5 stars

The room was very clean, the restaurant was just so so a little expensive for the quality. Even-though the hotel was not in town we had very good shuttle bosses from the hotel. I would stay there again.
