The hotel was nice. We were picking our daughter up from U of L and we stayed the night beofre going home.

I stayed 2 nights, booked at the last minute. For the price, it was great, a little bit more than I expected. The ONLY downside- unsecured and SLOW WiFi.

I thouroughly enjoyed my visit. The pool could stay open later and the hotel was undergoing renovations.
Very noisy, some of the patrons/customers were drinking and shouting loudly in their rooms. I was not happy. The customer service at the front desk needs major over haul. Similing and pleastness towards customers was absent!!! My kids were not happy with breakfast or the overall cleanliness. I guess they were in the middle of renovation.

Old but nice (looks like in process of renovation). Many steps to haul baggage up and down - consider some ramps or assistance to guests. Bed comfy, and good pillows. But in bathroom saw what looked like blood on the wall (Yuk). Good shower. Noisy kids running in the hall throughout night and woke us knocking on our door. "Easy access to major to 264 and airport"
Good accommodations, clean and convenient. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

The location was very convenient to both downtown Louisville and the east-side where we did most of our business. It was quiet and the neighborhood across the street provided great sidewalks for us to exercise a bit during our downtime. All-in-all a great place. Location was great , right of exit & well marked easy to find. The apperance / grounds was beautiful and the hotel staff was friendly. Needed to upgrade the room somewhat. The mattress was very used and uncomfortable. You could feel the springs poking you. The pillows were tiny and lumpy. We had a king bed and the pillows were have the size of normal […] pillows. TV was an older style ,but seemed ok. Lightbulb burned out on the dest light. Otherwise a nice place overall. Probably would give it another chance if in the same area again. Læs mere

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the accommodating staff. The breakfast was nice. Please don't forget to leave a tip for the attendance who is cleaning up after your breakfast.

I took my grandchildren here for spring break, all 3 had a good time, the pool, AWESOME!!!!! Wonderful full breakfast the next morning, full bar biscuits and gravy, muffins, cereal, juices, coffee. A real stick to your ribs kind of breakfast. Cheap! Best place I have been to in a long time!!! Loved by all. Thank you!
"Nice hotel for the family"
I was in Louisville with my wife and 2 children ages 6 & 11. This is a very family friendly hotel with a great indoor pool that actually has lifeguards. The pool was nice and warm and had lots of kids playing in it. My wife and kids had a wonderful time. The hotel room was not bad, but the indoor pool is definitely the big selling point for this hotel, […] and one that will probably make me return in the future when I visit family in Lousivllle. "Loved it"
I've already recommended this hotel to three people going to the Louisville area. Would definitely again. Was there 4 days. Only thing I didn't like was sometimes people hanging right outside entry doors to smoke so had to walk through them or go around to another entry.

Room was a bit dusty. Inn is old and in need of a redo, but we were comfortable and near to our destinations. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone going to the area on a budget!

Spent 2 nights here when I was sent down to cover the tornadoes in Indiana and Kentucky. Arrived in Louisville around 10AM, and needed to at least put my things at the hotel so I could get to work. The lady at the front desk found a room that was clean already and allowed me to check in very early (3pm is their checkin time). She was extremely nice […] every time I ran into her. The other people on the desk were very nice as well, apart from the overnight guy who was not too friendly. Hotel has good food inside of it, and there are restaurants 2 minutes away, including Panera Bread, Red Lobster, etc. If you need a cheap, clean place to stay, in a good neighborhood. "Rude Front Desk"
Room was comfortable, they upgraded us because they ran out of regular rooms before we checked in so we got a suite for same price. Front desk personnel took a personal call while I stood waiting with my baby to ask a question. Then maintenance personnel in the hall were more forthcoming with dorections (volunteered the data) than desk personnel. "Not fancy, but very clean."
The motel has a little feel of a bit of blast from the past, but I will stay there again the next time I am in town. The only thing that could be stepped up a bit is the breakfast selection (very basic) but the service from the front desk and any other employee I talked with was very friendly. "Breckinridge Inn - very handy for Bellarmine Uni"
Stayed at this hotel with my son on a visit to look round Bellarmine University. Very handy location just off I264 and easy to find. Service on reception was very effecient and friendly. Room was large and comfortable, perhaps a little dated. Breakfast wasn't very exciting but regularly topped up and met our needs.

The Breckinridge Inn was a wonderful place to stay with my grandchildren, especially since it had an indoor pool to burn off the energy of my young grandchildren.

"Jerry greens"
The hotel was great, but I stayed 2 nights and when went to the front desk to get more, the staff had a hard time locating them. Also the lady staff for Jerry greens was very rude. Get a sign up that tells u about the entrance from the hotel instead of chasing people down to tell them not to walk here or there. she needs better people skills.

I was more than pleased with this hotel! I give it 5 stars! If I'm ever back in the Louisville area again I will be sure and stay here again! The staff was friendly and the price for what we got was unbeatable! I highly recommend this hotel! I can't say enough nice things about it!!
