This hotel is a little hard to find if coming from Downtown but is near the airport (SDF) without being right on top of it. There aren't very many restaurants nearby, but adequate options are within a 15 minute drive. The hotel itself is in good condition, has excellent staff and is a good value for the business traveler.

The hotel is very close to the airport. The room was clean however the light switches were confusing and it took a while to figure out what switches did what.

We were put on the top floor,I don't know why because the motel was nearly vacant. Starting about 4:00AM there was a steady roaring from the UPS jets taking off over this motel. I don't know if a lower floor would have been quieter or not. If you are deaf this place is fine. We will not be coming back!

it was too much for the money.. comfortable, clean and very nice service...

We checked in on Sunday night. The air conditioner didn't work in the room and Monday morning I discovered the bathroom light didn't work and had to shower in the dark. I informed the front desk first thing Monday morning, but Tuesday night the air still didn't work. I called the front desk around 830pm and was informed no one was around to fix anything […] including the light so I showered in the dark AGAIN Tuesday morning. I complained again!! ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE AIRPORT TO CLOSE BUT NO BIG DEAL

Was moved three times. 1st room had mattresses standing up against the walls. 2nd room was musty and air did not work. 3rd room was musty and air did not work. 4th room was musty but the air did work.

No coffee at breakfast, and 20 min. wait before girl at front desk showed up to check in.

This hotel had been remodeled and in excellent condition. I would Highly recommend the hotel.

They had a 24 hour shuttle to the airport which was very convenient for us. the room was more than we expected, we had a living room area with couch, desk, and tv, and also a bedroom with microwave and fridge. I would stay again if I had the chance.

I was suprised ... I had read the other reviews (both here and on other sites) and the Comfort Inn definitely exceeded my expectations. Rooms and common areas had been recently renovated, my non-smoking room didn't smell like cigarette smoke, free wi-fi everywhere, a straightforward buffet complimentary breakfast, refrigerators in rooms ... it had everything […] that I needed for two nights in Louisville before the ABR exam 5/2011. No bedbugs to report, although I would recommend "RestEasy" or a similar product to spray on the bedskirt and wall whenever you plan on travelling in endemic areas, just to be on the safe side. We went to the hotel for the Kentucky Derby so of course the price was 4x the normal price. We had nice gift bags in our rooms and the rooms were clean. Unfortunately the pool was a mess. It was disgusting and therefore closed. Additionally they ran out of everything in the vending machines and water in the lobby but I imagine it's because they were […] so full. Læs mere

Pros: Clean. Staff is nice. Location is a big plus and you get shuttle to the airport (SDF) any time you want! Cons: Walls too thin. Can hear into other rooms, especially the squeaking beds when people in the room above you are doing the obvious ;)

Our room was satisfactory overall. We had specifically asked for a room with a sofa bed (we had 5 in our group). There was nothing in our room to make up the sofa bed so we had to go to the desk to get extra linens. Also, the sofa bed was horrible - it angled down and was incredibly poor quality. Also, the hotel was full the night we were there, but […] they did not at all seem ready to handle the crowd for breakfast in the morning. All of the trash was overflowing and the food was not replenished. Quite a bit of it was cold. The girl working in the area was working very hard - there just needed to be one or two more people helping her. She was running like crazy the whole time and couldn't do it herself. I would think a full hotel would make the adjustment for the crowd for breakfast. Two in our pary let to get breakfast elsewhere because they didn't have the time to wait. Very frustrating when we chose this hotel because it included the breakfast. The grounds around the hotel need to be mowed and maintained better. Læs mere

The reaason we chose this hotel was the bed configuration ( 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa) perfectly met the needs of our family. When we arrived and opened the sofa bed it was T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E! impossible to sleep on! We did however arrive exhausted and after midnight so made the best of it rather than have our room changed. I loved the location. I was working at the State Fair and my travel time was great. I loved it!

We booked this hotel due to it's close proximity to the hospital where my dad was a patient . I wanted to find something that was large enough for our family, including my mothe, sister, nephew, my husband and myself..The queen suite with sofa sleeper certainly satisfiedthe need. Very comfortable room, beds were incredibly comfortable, hotel was quiet. […] The first floor accommodation was very convenient for my mother, but there is an elevator if needed. Breakfast included biscuits, sausage, gravy, waffles, pastries, cereals, juices, etc.....not your typical "continental" breakfast!! Even though this hotel is directly across the interstate from the end of the airport runway it was quiet. Very close to the Fairgrounds and Exposition Center. The room was small, but I was staying alone for the week so the room was just the right size for me. I wasnt expecting the sofa, which was nice to lounge on and read a book. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was great (waffles, biscuits and gravy) unless you are looking for healthy options and there was none. The only drawbacks were: (1) you […] could hear the big UPS jets coming in for a landing all night about 100 yards from my room and (2) the walls are very thin. If you are a light sleeper then you might have an issue with it. One morning a couple was up at 5:00 am "fooling around" in bed and I could hear it all! YIKES! Breakfast was wonderful. The pull out bed did not have sheets available in room and was not comforatble for daughter to sleep on. The door to the pool locked and there was no way for re-entry with a hotel key, had to go around to front lobby to regain access to hotel.

This hotel was well worth the money. Room was very nice and even more important the beds were comfortable.

The room was advertised to have two queen beds and a pull out sofa. The support bars for the mattress were broke causing the mattress to fall through in several places so the pull out was unusable. The airconditioning throughout the second floor was not working. We set our room unit to the coldest temp with the fan on high for the entire night and it […] was still 80 degrees in our room. relatively new property, very clean, rooms have everything needed (fridge, micro, 2 TVs, lots of pillows, etc.) Everything was great except front desk was short staffed during off hours.

Close to the Expo and nice roomy rooms. The room above the lobby area was noisy the first night with people coming and going at the hotel. It had an acess door to an area above the lobby that rattled avrytime someone came in the door. They moved us to a different room the next 2 nights and everything was great. great room for the money. the only thing that i didn't like about it was the room had an odor that was unpleasant. other than that, it was a good hotel

This hotel was so near 6 flags I could count the people on the coasters. The room was excellent two queen size beds big tv and there was the living room with desk, pull out sofa and another TV. Frig and microwave and coffee maker were all there too. Computer in lobby was a lot of help checking emails etc. Breakfast was prompt and had great variety. I was checked in after a day of driving to a room that had not been cleaned. It still had food in frdige, garbage, nothing clean. when I tried to explain the problem to the front desk he really didn't understand me. When I finally got somebody to come up and clean the roomm they only did it half way. I was so furious I had to take the remaining garbage […] as well as the food from the garbage down to the front desk. This isn't the service I paid for. Læs mere

The location of the hotel was great for attending Six Flags. The breakfast was very good and good variety. The room was very spacious and the separate sitting area was great for me in the evening when the kids were going to bed. Great hotel - will definately stay here again.

We really got a quality hotel for the price we paid. The staff was kind and friendly and very helpful

Hotel was very accommodating staff very nice. Ask to use dining area with another group we traveled with absolutely, well worth the time. Breakfast was descent too.
