The bath mat was missing 20%. It was torn off. The lights in the bathroom had two bulbs not working.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Could use some updating...new pillows, fluffy towels.

I thought the hotel had a unique charm which we liked. Other than having one night some nosy neighbors, which ii not the hotel's fault, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. The TV could get an update though as it was old and a bit dark.

I had not stayed at this hotel, but have stayed in most others in San Jose/Campbell over the past five years when there frequently on business. I "shop" for value but insist on a well hotel that is clean, quiet, well located and with helpful and attentive staff. One problem - an unhinged magnifying mirror was fixed immediately. In general I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfasts offer a good variety and actual cooked items like poached and scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, along with fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, etc. The biggest flaw of the hotel are their beds. Not a bad hotel, however their beds are the worst I ever experienced. No support at all. I woke up in the middle of the night with back problems. At breakfast I spoke to a person who stays at the hotel numerous times and he mentioned that they only have a few rooms with new beds. I recently stayed in this hotel for a business trip and had my wife come along with the children to have them do activities while I worked. The room was spacious, clean, and although there wasn't a microwave in the room the staff was helpful in warming up the baby food for my wife when she needed it. I would definitely stay here again. What a great hotel. The rooms were huge and comfortable. The bathroom was all marble and spotless. I wish my stay had been longer.

We were there on a business trip (my husband and I) The hotel was soo Romantic we had a wonderful time. It had all the right touches. We will definately be back. The only thing I did not like was the bed was really soft but my husband loved it.

They need new towels

I've stayed at several hotels in the Campbell area while on business. This is a keeper! Comfortable and clean. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the area, look no further.

Very nice hotel for the money. Beds were a bit soft, but the room and bathroom were huge. I will go back.

The full breakfast is a big bonus. Large room. Conveniently located. Quiet.

It was a comfortable, hassle free stay in Bristol, which is a very Victorian-looking hotel. A few reasons I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars is that, the carpet in my room seemed a bit stained, but that did not affect my overall experience. Also, coffee was promised to be available 24 hrs. although it was freshly available in the morning, never in the evening, […] it was too cold. The hotel is very well built and layout very convenient, but the whole building needs repairs and cleaning. Light bulbs in rooms need replacing, carpets need cleaning. Ice machine on second floor has not worked for several months. Have stayed there many times because of convenient location and a very good breakfast.

This was our second time staying here. There really aren't cheap hotels in Campbell, so it is somewhat pricey, but the rooms are large, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel is very fancy on decorations, naked statues and chandeliers and such. The breakfast is awesome, hot eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh cut fruit, etc. We will go back!

I think an overnight stay at a hotel should leave one well rested the next day. Not here. The one complaint we have is the bed.....the mattress was terrible. No support what so ever! I mean, you sit or lay on the bed and your whole body sinks at least 5 inches....I think even travelers who like a softer mattress would not get a good night sleep on these […] mattresses. My back was quite sore the next day from a lack of support. I do have to add, however, just to be fair, the hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are nice. The free breakfast is also good. Hotel room was up scale from a 3 star rating like I was expecting. Rooms decor was very nice & room was clean and comfortable. Bed a little soft but still slept good on a 2 night stay. I was a bit disappointed with this hotel, carpets in the room were extremely dirty, bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. They served breakfast but had not restaurant-dinner available. Weird. About the only good thing was that it was close to a really great Italian restaurant...

We have stayed here twice. Very charming hotel despite the rooms that are a little worn. Mildew in the shower and spots on the carpet are common. Rooms are big and the bed is comfortable. The best part is the price is good and the location is close to Los Gatos.

After many trips to the area, we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in such an unexpected location. Tucked away, comfortable, reasonable rates and quiet.

This was a wonderful stay. The rooms are clean and very spacious. Even though our room was right across from the elevator it was very quiet. The staff was attentive and helpful and the hot breakfast was yummy. Would stay there again without question.

All in All the hotel is nice. Elegant decorations make the place interesting. Breakfast is top rate, hotel is quiet, AC cooled room down quickly. Only down side, in room refrigerator didn't work, advised front desk and she immediately made a note and offered to store anything I needed to keep cold in the hotel refer. best rooms in the south bay..top notch experience.

Hotel was conveniently located and fairly priced. Room was big which was nice. Everything else about the hotel was just ok, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and breakfast. I would stay here again, but I prefer the Larkspur.

I will definitly stay here again.
