Econo Lodge - San Angelo

It was so short, i cannot really say, got in at 3am and was gone by 8. I had called to let the night clerk know we would be late, when we got in she said, "Mr ____________" i said yes, she just handed me my key and said "goodnite".. wow was i impressed. The neighborhood was scary. The light over the sink did not work, there were holes in the walls of the shower, the walls in the room were visibly scuffed and extremely dirty. The bed linens were dirty (hairs on the sheets/pillows). The curtains had holes him them. The TV reception was fuzzy on almost all channels. The room smelled musty and stale, like […] old cigarettes, as did all of our things after being in that room overnight. The pool looked and smelled stagnant! Horrible Horrible Horrible! Well upon arriving and frist sight of the hotel was not what the pictures looked like. I was a bit discouraged. The overall stay was ok. Main reason we chose this hotel was because the husband and kids wanted to swim in the indoor pool. Hmm well the pool that was a joke, it was low and freezing cold. The room itself wasn't extremely to bad. we did have […] to put a towel in front of the door as the gap was pretty big. Our last night they brought a new coffee maker into the room. Our stay was 5 days. The area was ok, we were able to walk instead of driving to get food. It really needs some updating. The lady in charge of breakfast was great. The price of the room was a bit high for what we got. We know better for next time.. Læs mere

Sheets were dirty it smelled broken windows. nothing was at all decent

The hotel was very old and not updated. The lobby was shabby, dirty carpet and 1950's furnishings. The breakfast area was dirty with soiled table cloths. We decided not to chance eating breakfast at the hotel.

This hotel is better than it used to be, I hope they continue to improve it and then I would recommend to friends.

Hotel was next door to funeral home that we had to go to. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Overall we lucked out staying there.

Overall we had a positive stay and there is really only one aspect that I had a problem with on this visit. The front desk clerk was friendly and the room was clean. The bed was way too soft, but that is a personal preference. The bathroom was HORRID! First off, if you are above a size 10, you are not going to be comfortable in this bathroom, to say […] it is tiny is an understatement. Secondly, the shower rod was broken so the curtain only covered the middle of the rod as it kept slipping down from the sides. Third, the height of the shower head was for someone under 5'5". I realize this is an older location, but the shower rod and shower head should be replaced with something appropriate. Læs mere

The bed was very comfortable. Building is very old but the room was in good condition. The bathroom area is WAY too small, especially where the toilet is. That was extremely small and inconvenient to use.
