Hotellet ligger en anelse dårligt idet det ligger lige ved en stor meget befærdet rundkørsel, men hvis man kan se bort fra det, ligger det ganske godt. I gåafstand af centrum med alle butikker og restauranter. P-pladser ved hotellet og restaurant på hotellet. Morgenmaden er ok til prisen.

excellent ! had a great nights sleep, good location , good food and nice clean room, everything we needed . spot on!

our stay was very comfortable with pleasant staff, room was clean and well presented.

Good location. No direct access from hotel entrance to pavement - have to cut through the shrubbery if you want to walk into town or you have to go back out through the car park entrance! Hot drinks machine in the lounge doesnt make it clear whether its free or not, its not. Also doesnt have any prices on it when you find out its not free.

No worries about staying at this budget hotel. It is clean, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The buffet breakfast was replenished frequently and very good. And the location was surprisingly quiet.

On check in the staff were very friendley, the food was good and the cheff cooked off menu for me ( bonus ) thanks, the room was very nice and the bed was dead comfy, the shower was good and powerfull, only down side to the hotle was the road noise, I can normly sleep through any thing but I was awaken 3 or 4 time, not good when you are up early.

The Ibis is the perfect hotel for anyone visiting Chesterfield. All amenities are close by , Gym, cinemas, shops, etc.

Standard budget hotel fare. Staff helpful, communal areas good. Room was a little tired, but clean & overall ok. Quite a lot of noise from the adjacent road. Would benefit from more double glazing. Overall, ok for the price, and very handy for the town centre.

I booked this as a budget hotel and was expecting it to be as such. However I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and building, helpfulness of the staff when we needed another pillow and the provision of tea making facilities in the room. We ended up in the restaurant one night expecting a microwave meal but the lasagne and chips […] I had was the best in a long time! I normally wouldn't bother reviewing but I felt this hotel justified it based on value for money. Læs mere

I read all 38 of the reviews online and had a touch of trepidation about booking as some of the comments were far from complimentary! However I need not have worried as the room I was allocate3d - on the third floor at the front weith tripkle glazing - was ecellent & remained so during my 3 night stay. I guess I was lucky too with the receptionist that […] dealt withmy booking-in. He said that booking-in was 1400 on Sat. & Sun - the joining instructions said 1200, and I was there at 1240. But he said that room 326 was ready and so I was booked in. Breakfast onTuesday was somewhat panicy and there was no orange juice or bread at 0830. The breakfast was worth every penny.Plenty of choices.

Friendly reception staff. Basic hotel. Only one towel each and very tight on the tea and coffee in the room.

Great hotel for the price. Close to the town centre (which could be a negative point for many). Easy to find and friendly staff.

You get more than you pay for here. Great service with family friendly atmosphere. Bar 'till midnight, food when you want it, very easy walking distance to the town centre (lots to do) and free parking. Was not noisy as soundproofing was good and a fan so you did not need to open the window. Pizza across the road if you need it and a great "Soul" style […] restaurant 5 mins walk away. Will certainly visit again. (needs a pelican crossing on the roundabout but this is a Council/Highways issue!) Læs mere

AC was in the foyer, but so many hotels have a great foyer and not so brilliant rooms. The room was no different in size to a Travelodge. No hand towels, bath towels were thin and small. Bed was foam rubber (the reception assured me they were comfortable but I doubt that they had ever slept on one.) The mattress was covered in a plastic mattress protector. […] Add to that the the sheet was too short at the foot and the head, by around 6 inches each end, and it made for a very uncomfortable night. The windows were double glaced. Brilliant for winter, but awful for summer as they didn't open enough to give any breeze. Probably just as well as the A1 was DIRECTLY under our window and incredibly noisy. A fan was supplied. I did go down and complain about the bed the next morning, after an almost sleepless night, and to their credit, the staff did change the mattress to a proper spring one. The parking around the hotel isn't owned by the hotel and a ticket has to be displayed to stop from getting a parking fine. Wifi was NOT free, it was 9.95 a day, but did give us a few movies to watch also. Wifi was dearer than Travelodge. Too hot, too uncomfortable, too expensive. Wouldn't ever recommend this hotel. Never stayed in a two star before, but found the staff more polite, helpful and genuine that many five star. The main reception staff couldn't have done for me and a cleaner even helped me getting into the room. Highly recommended

stayed for 1 night. chose hotel because of central location. near a busy road but that wasn't a problem at all to us. might be if you had very young children. hotel was clean and comfortable and very good value for money. breakfast was extra but reasonably priced (we booked ours the night before to get a discounted rate). all in all good value for money […] - never ever going to 'blow you away' and have wow factor - but it does exactly what it states it does. Very noisy hotel, all rooms back onto major roads, plus the large roundabout outside the hotel, traffic is constant throughout the night, only dying down after midnight, but starting again at 5am. Stayed for 3 nights and needed to be moved to a different room every night due to the noise of the traffic. Ok if you're staying for just one night, any more […] than that I'd be careful. this hotel is very friendly and is walking distance to shops restaraunts and night clubs great little place for shopping the bus station and train station are close by too the prices are great aswell.

if you dont pay too much for this hotel then you wont be disappointed. its very handy for the centre of chesterfield.

I would consider good value for money, excellent breakfast !

We found the hotel staff very polite and helpful. We had a problem the first night as our room was directly above the boiler house and although not very loud the constant drone of the circulating pumps made sleep difficult. We mentioned this to the reception staff and were transfered to another room which was very quiet. I would recommend the hotel […] but steer clear of room 121! Læs mere

Good hotel and value for money. Easy to walk into town.Slight downside, it is on a very busy roundabout making it noisy and difficult to cross the road. Parking could also be a problem, not enough spaces for the size of the hotel.

I have enjoyed my stay and continue to remain at this hotel throughout the contract I am working

The rate for the hotel was within my budget and also users friendly. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The meals were excellant and served hot.- if fact I could not find a problem with this hotel- other than it being on roundabout and access on foot was a difficult when crossing the road.- not that this is the fault of the hotel.

The hotel is basic but fair for the cost
