Central location just off the Ramblas yet very quiet. Helpful staff. Clean ,modern rooms with silent,efficient Air Con. American visitors may find the rooms smaller than they expect.

Close to all the main atractions Ramblas, Gothic Quarter. Old city, Placa Catlunya metro to other sights. Nice room and very well furnished. Front desk staff very helpful and knowledgable.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Family stayed at Hotel Colon and we decided to stay at a less expensive but nice place. They ended up with problems and we had a fantastic stay. Well worth the money. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. Hotel reasonable close to metro/bus and sight seeing tour buses as well as the […] cathedral and la rambla. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Only thing was we did have to walk a couple blocks when dropped off by the taxi because he said he couldn't drive us in front of the hotel. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted - it was right by Las Ramblas and literally a 5 minute walk to Catalunya. The room was fine - small but for all the time we spent in the room it wasn't an issue. Excellent location to see Gothic area of Barcelona. We took a cab because we weren't sure of the trains and other transit available. Be prepared to walk in about three blocks because the area is pedestrian traffic only. Signage is very discreet, so check the walls! The breakfast was excellent if you wish to stay in the hotel to eat, but you can eat […] for less from local shops. Don't expect a N. American breakfast, but they will cook eggs to order if you wish. We found the staff helpful and friendly and would certainly stay again because of the location and ease of access to public transit. Stayed over the night at this hotel in Barca, it is quite a distance from the airport so will cost you a bit if travelling by taxi, although the bus stop is about a 5min walk. Bit difficult to find the hotel is not familiar with spain as it is hidden between the many shops and there is no real road names. I absolutely loved this hotel! The room was not large by American standards but compared to the hotel room we are staying in currently in Paris for approximately the same price, it was large. Great location...with good service. Staff were very friendly and helpfull.

The hotel is very conveniently located. It's only minutes from the Cathedral, Los Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, and many other sites. It was clean and quiet with a good breakfast. The only complaint was the air conditioning which kept the room cool but so humid (when it wasn't outside) that the sheets felt actually wet.

This hotel was very good in a central location. 5 mins walk from Place Catalunya and just off Las Ramblas in a very quiet pedestrian area but difficult to find. Some taxi drivers don't know they can drive to the hotel and we were dropped on Las Ramblas. As the name of the street was not on our Booking Confirmation and no prominent sign outside we had […] great difficulty finding it. Even the police had difficulty. This hotel is located just off La Rambla, about a 2 minute walk, but it's tucked off on a smaller street so that it's quiet at night. It's located about 3 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya where you can access a metro station with several lines and where the Aeroport bus drop-off. From the metro stop here or at La Rambla you can easily get to all […] of the sights in about 15 minutes. The front desk staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English. We didn't eat the breakfast at the hotel but the front desk was able to suggest good places. The room was comfortable, the beds a bit hard, but fine. We were able to look out onto a quite street. It was a good size by European standards. The king bed is two twins pushed together but this was fine as I was traveling with a friend. The bathroom is well updated, a bit small to have two people at the same time, but fine. We didn't hear noise from any of the other rooms. Overall, I would say that this hotel is in a perfect location and very convenient to restaurants, the metro/bus lines and the sights of Barcelona. It's also very easy to access from the airport. Great location - close to Las Ramblas but a bit away from the craziness. On a side, pedestrian street, beautiful neighborhood. Hotel is clean, comfortable, no frills. Good value!!!

Excellent location.Walking distance to almost everything. Quiet yet a block away from La Ramblas But most importantly very very clean with pleasant front desk(particularly a guy named Dany)

This hotel is in a prime location just a couple of blocks from the Placa de Catalunya and right in the center of the old town. Staff is friendly, helpful and they speak very good English. Rooms are small, but more than adequate with beautiful wood floors and updated bathrooms. This is my second stay and I would definitely book there again.

we went to barcelona for a long weekend - the location of the hotel was extremely convenient. off las ramblas and very quiet, i would recommend it. the rooms are on the small side, but still comfortable.

It was just a block away from La Rambla the center of all fun and colorful activities surrounded by many restaurants and the biggest and the fanciest farmers' market in Europe, old, narrow and beautiful alleys. This hotel is great, it is in an ideal location (not even 2 minutes to Las Ramblas) and is clean, comfortable, and affordable. The only thing i would have to say about it is that is on a very quiet side street - great as its quiet at night time but bit of a scary walk in the early hours of the morning! We went here in January so i can imagine that the […] street leading up to the hotel would be quite busy in Spring/Summer. Also, no tea and coffee making facilities - but loads of cheap coffee shops around! I read reviews prior to coming to the hotel about it being hard to find, my advice is to check it out on Google maps before you go - we found it instantly! if you get off the shuttle bus (or taxi) at Placa Catalunya and walk down the Ramblas (left side) its the first left and then the second right as far as i can remember! NH Duc de la Victoria is located just 2 min from Catalunya Metro Station & a min walk away from La Rambla, the hottest tourist strip. Many attractions are found along this strip, so its a good choice to stay near the strip to venture around. It is also near the Catalunya bus stop where you can take bus no. A1 to & fro El Prat Airport, so you can save […] on taxi fare. The only con is that they don't provide you with a kettle. We got to ask for it as we longed for hot tea at the end of the day from the cold weather. Overall, I will definitely recommend it to anyone as it is definitely value for money, much less than what I had expected to pay in Europe & at such a good location. Læs mere

Everything about our 4 day stay at this hotel was excellent. The location is on a quiet street a block from the La Rambla and two blocks from Catalunya where the bus from the airport makes its last stop. Room was great with a small balcony. Free wifi but only if you have a laptop. Computer terminal available for a hefty fee.

The location is tough to beat, and the hotel was extremely quiet - my wife and I slept very well. It would be nice to have free wifi in the room but at least it's available in the lobby (maximum 30 minutes per day though).

Great location. Close to metro station and was able to walk to most attractions. Friendly front desk staff that spoke English. Minor drawback in that wifi can only be used in the lobby.

The free internet that they offer is a 30 minutes connection....after that you have to pay for that. Location is perfect!

The hotel saved my trip home. I left my passport on the desk in the hotel room. I called from the Barcelona airport and the hotel put it in a taxi and brought it to me in plenty of time! Great service! The hotel is in the best location in Barcelona! It is a quiet street right in the middle of the old district and a few blocks off Las Ramblas.

Ett utmärkt hotell, fantastiskt att bo så centralt men ändå väldigt tyst. Bra rum, utmärkt frukost samt mycket trevlig personal.

Une des très bonnes surprises de ce weekend, c'est l'emplacement de l'hôtel: à 150 mètres de la cathédrale, la localisation est idéale et très centrale! L'accueil a été très bon lors du check in. La chambre en elle même est classique, assez propre, rien à redire, excepté que nous avions une chambre fumeur, si bien que cela sentait un peu le tabac froid, […] pas forcément agréable pour des non fumeurs... il est dommage que la réception ne nous ait pas demandé notre préférence. Ett hotell som vi skulle bo på igen om vi kommer till Barcelona fler gånger. Jättebra läge vid La Ramblan och Placa Catalunya. Rummen helt Ok, sköna sängar, Underbar frukost men lite för dyr. Detta hotell kan absolut rekommenderas.

Nach 2007 war ich zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel zu Gast. Die vor fünf Jahren gesammelten positiven Eindrücke gelten weiterhin uneingeschränkt. Der Hotelservice stimmt (in unserem Zimmer fehlte ein Safe, nach fünf Minuten hatten wir ein neues Zimmer), das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker und verschafft eine gute Grundlage für den Tag, die Lage […] ist ruhig, aber sehr zentral zu den Ramblas inmitten des gothischen Viertels gelegen. Prima hotel met een perfecte ligging, 5 min lopen van Plaza Catalunia en 2 min lopen en je bent op de ramblas. Echt een aanrader.

Propre et sérieux, sans prétention. Idéalement placé pour ceux qui découvrent Barcelone pour la première fois.

Ligger veldig sentralt og greit i forhold til severdigheter osv. En kul, rolig gate og helt stille på hotellet. Men noen få gater ut er du i flokk med turistmassene. Litt vel hektisk for min del, men du har gode muligheter for shopping i nærheten. (zara, hm, pepe jeans, en fin barnebutikk, sportsbutikker, sko..og MASSE mer). Vil prøve å finne et roligere […] område om jeg skal dra igjen. F.eks ved kjøttmarkedet. Gledet meg til hotellfrokosten, god spekemat, og godt brød og frukter. Perfekt läge nära det mesta. Och på en tyst bakgata. Rummen ordinära. Ingen frukost i priset, men gå gärna till Cafe Zurich vid place Catalunya. Det som drog ner omdömet var att väskan gick sönder när den lämnades in på förvaring - och personalen låtsades som om det regnade.

Hotellet ligger midt i smørøyet,og anbefales. Hvis noe ikke var så bra: Rommet var litt lite, og dyr frokost.
