Det var ganske godt. Der blev dog fundet en bedbug i en af sengene, men det tog personalet sig hurtigt af og vi blev flyttet til et andet værelse. Rigtig godt.

Hotel Godwin ligger perfekt for et ophold i Mumbai. Tagterrassen på 9. sal med udsigt over byen og havet er fantastisk. Vi blev opgraderet til et bedre værelse, og servicen var perfekt. Man føler sig hjemme og godt tilpas, og maden er god. Endvidere havde vi glæde af en chauffør, som holder til ved hotellet. Hotel Godwin var med til at gøre vores ophold i Mumbai i 10 dage til en succes.

Chhatrapati Shivaji-lufthavnen, der ligger i det østlige Andheri, er en af Indiens travleste lufthavne. Den internationale lufthavn er opkaldt efter Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhonsle, en Maratha-kejser fra det 17. århundrede. Området er fyldt med butikker, autentiske håndværksmarkeder og restauranter. Prominente forretningsdistrikter som Bandra-Kurla-komplekset og SEEPZ (Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone) ligger inden for 10 kilometers afstand fra området. Af andre populære lokale seværdigheder kan nævnes NSE-udstillingscentret, Borovilli Nationalpark, Film City og Bombay-museet. Forudbetalte taxier til bymidten er billige, og man kan også komme omkring med de billigere (men langsommere) busser.
Vis alle hoteller i MumbaiHotellet var rigtig fint. Flot og havde alt. Vi havde dog børn med i alderen 2 og 5 og der var det nok ikke det mest oplagte sted at være. Spisestederne åbnede først kl. 19, hvilket er det seneste med 2 små børn.

Standardværelserne er ok men heller ikke mere næste kategori er luxsus i forhold Restauranterne er første klasse der er flere at vælge imellem og en god cafe Stort rygerum i forbindelse til hovedrestauranten Hotellet ligger tæt på lufthavnen

"Nice fancy hotel, to much noise.."
This hotel has essentially all what you need and would expect from a 5*. However, the concept of having a noisy cafe/restaurant area playing music until 10-11 pm is completely no-go for me. And there is no way to avoid it as all room face the atrium/dome. Next time in Mumbai I would definitely choose another hotel.

The Hotel it self is very nice and the staffs are very nice. but there is nothing around it as shopping or nice eating places close by to the hotel. You have to take a taxi to go to shopping.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sahara. We were met at the airport by friendly and accomodating hotel staff and taken directly to the hote. The checkin process was easy and quick. The Sahara is an oasis in Mumbai!! The interior of the hotel is absolutly amazing. The staff were super friendly, professional and helpful. The operations manager made a […] point of getting to know us and made it a very personal experience. Our host "Hazel" looked out for all our needs and made our stay delightful. "Dashwijith" made our dining experiences superb. His wit and charm cannot not be overstated. i had requested for kingsize bed but got twin beds in the room, lousy furniture as drawers were not closing properly either.

The hotel staff is very helpful and efficient. However there is lot of renovation /repair going on at this time which does make one feel little upset. Besides this Hotel is good.

"worst service ever"
By midnight they had not cleaned my room or made the bed or refreshed towels.... it was the worst ever. I usually stay in Mumbai at the Oberoi, and it is amazing service. Don't stay at this airport hotel thinking it is comparable.... cause its not close
"Sahara Star !!!"
The best part of the hotel rooms, the rooms have a interior hotel view, which has been done up well , a very nice experience , feels that we are cut off from the outside world, would definitely stay again

"SMALL ROOMS not as expected hotel"
Outside of hotel needs to be finished. Work has been going on for years. Entry and drive to the porch is really bad. lobby is very ordinary. Interior dome is amazing. Rooms are good but very small.

The hotel is located near the domestic airport in Mumbai. In Mumbai you have to plan your stays very strategically. If you are staying in one area, getting to another place may take quite a lot of time (anywhere from 30mins to 1 hr 30 mins). The hotel is getting a bit run down. The food is still pretty good. There can be an issue of noise in the room […] coming from within the hotel (especially if the hotel is having an event such as wedding or conference etc. in the middle of the hotel. "Decent location, nice hotel"
Well connected by train and road as compared to other hotel areas in the suburbs. If you cannot afford a place downtown, this is your best bet. Hotel had really nice and helpful staff, security was very good, room was clean and comfortable. We even go to see fashion shows during the Bridal Fashion week as it took place on the hotel grounds.

"The Sahara Star hotel is perfect for the airport."
The hotel accommodation was excellent and the staff very friendly ans always helpful. But the cost of food, drink and alcohol was very expensive. For example a large gin and tonic was £20. A small 330ml beer £4.50. A single a beef or chicken burger with chips was £16.

"Not a pleasant experience"
For the price that I was paying, I was expecting more. The exterior of the hotel looked lke a bombsite. It's like a building under construction. Everytime I take a shower, the toilet turns into a lake. I complaint and the only solution was to send somebody to come clean the mess up everytime I take a shower. I was shocked when I heard that. Meaning […] if I take 3 showers a day, they will get the claners to come 3 times. The toilet is the worst I have seen in a hotel. I do not recommend this hotel at all! Hotel is still under construction, though you do not feel it inside. Staff is very helpful and rooms are nice and comfortable (I stayed at Mars executive floor)!

Ich gehe seit Jahren in dieses Hotel, weil ich meist auf der Durchreise bin und es direkt gegenüber vom Domestic Airport liegt. Man verliert keine Zeit. Das Hotel ist sehr gut, aber die Preise sind relativ hoch.

wenn man bereit ist, auf den Blick nach draussen zu verzichten, ist das S. St. eine gute Wahl. Von außen wie eine Bauruine, von innen aber eindrucksvoll. Etwas störend die ständige, wenn auch schwache Geräuschkulisse vom Innenhof, um den sich die Zimmer gruppieren. Restaurants ausgezeichnet.
